hey! but i'm here with an update TOO! PLUS i have included a precap 😳 so let me see those glares turning into smiles please?😃 lol enough! i'm too much! i know 🥱 sorry about that! sorry for the delay guys but i had already warned you that i might be irregular once again due to my studies anyways, let's stop this bak bak of mine and read the chapter! hm?

PART 47

The first ray of the sun broke Arnav's sleep. He felt the pain in his bruised arms which was covered by his t-shirt he was wearing and was under khushi's back. He pressed his lips not to wince in pain.

The day before yesterday...

It was very late and all of the employees had left except aman and Arnav as they had to give some final touch up on the planning of the next day's birthday party before they leave for home. He had asked aman to get some important files for their next deal to be conducted as well. but when Aman wasn't showing any signs of coming back, he went to the hallway near the elevator when the lights went off.

Arnav: what the!"

Suddenly a loud noise of echoed as he turned around to head towards the stairs. It was a noise of a a glass breaking. Suddenly he thought he had seen someone wearing a black mask which was seen due to the moonlight. He could see a something in his hand.

Arnav: who's there?

As he was about to call aman, the man threw the big piece of proken glass towards Arnav. Arnav had seen him pointing towards him which made him put him arm over his face to protect himself. The sharp edges of the glass had dug into his lower arm making the blood ooze out of it.

Another piece was thrown towards his face to which he turned around and the sharp edge waspinned in his back. Arnav was too shocked to react to such action of a person whom he can't even see properly.

He was wincing in pain. It felt like arrows were thrown which dug into his flesh ripping his skin.

Aman: ASR?

Suddenly the lights came which cleared the view of what Aman was seeing when it was dark. He saw Arnav with with his back towards him, a large piece of glass was stung on his back. The blood was ozzing, wetting his blue shirt, making it a dark purple colour. He ran towards the him and stopped to see his arms covered with blood and scratches. He was trying to take out the glass which was dug into his arms.

Aman: ASR?! What has hashappened to you ! o my god!

He quickly kneeled down and took him and held his arms with one hand and took out the piece with other. He quickly took him to his cabin and brought the first aid box to bandage his arms.

Arnav: I have no clue Aman. You were taking a while coming back so I thought of checking. And all of a sudden the lights went off and a man attacked me. he- WHAT THE?!

His explanation came to a halt when he saw Aman's fingers inside his specs wiping his eyes.

Arnav: AMAN? What's wrong?

Aman sinflled fxing his glasses: nothing.

Arnav: aman what is it?

Aman: nothing ASR. are you okay? Is it hurting too much? Let's go to the doctor.

Aman had never considered Arnav less than a brother. When he had no one beside him, when his parents were dead, when he had to work in a coffe shop to survive and earn money. Aman had spilled coffe on a customer to which the man reactied very rudely. He had tried to slap him for his reckleness when Arnav stopped him.

Customer: "you don't deserve to even work in a coffee shop! You're USELESS, YOU FOOL!

Arnav: ya right! He doesn't deserve to work in this coffe shop. Because he deserves to work in AR.

Although at that time Arnav had absolutely no feelings and had closed him in a shell to express his feelings, he couldn't tolerate anyone offending people since he and Anjali had gone through such humiliation itself, and that too due to such a small mistake? He had made his mind to offer him a job in AR and PA was the best choise he could make for him.

Aman had told him about his parents, the tragedy of his life to which Arnav was just a silent listener as he couldn't express his feelings, neither could he console him. He was too weak himself inside. Arnav had trained himself as his PA and he knew he's the most trustworthy employee he could ever have. Aman had always wonder the reason behind Arnav's sterness towards everyone, even towards him when he had seen an absolutety different arnav in the restarant. Only when he first met with Anjali at his house did he get to know the similarities between their pasts and the reason behind his hardness.

He had never taken it to heart when ASR shouted at him. He knew what and how he actually is. Whenever he said "AMAN! You're fired" he knew he was saying it in his anger and he doesn't mean it whatsoever. And when his anger cools down, Aman just starts off a new topic relating to a project to which ASR reacts casually. And Aman always realizes he never meant what he said. ASR is rather a brother for him than his boss. His only family he considered.

ASR: com'on Aman! It's just a small wound. Don't react like khushi please!

Arnav shook his head in disbelief.

But Aman again burst into tears and arnav handed him a tissue box.

Arnav: god aman! Why are you acting like a cry baby !

Aman sniffling: are you okay ASR?

Arnav: Aman! You're fired!

Aman chuckled.

Arnav seriously: Aman, make sure khushi doesn't know about it. Or I'll hve to bear another cry baby.

Aman laughed and nodded.

Aman: who could do this ASR? I'll kill that jerk!

Arnav: yah. It was absolutely uncertain. We should check with the guards.

Aman: I'll do that ASR.

Arnav: I was thinking to stay in the nearby hotel tonight. I anyways need to change the bandage over night as the blood is not stopping. And if I do it at home khushi would witness it which I don't want. So just arrange me a room Aman.

Aman: yes ASR.

Arnav was trying to take his arms from his back when khushi stirred.

Khushi mumbled in sleep: arnavji! don't moveee. I'm sleeping.

Arnav smiled: it's already 8:00 am sweetneahrt. I have office.

Khushi: 2 minutes please.

After two minutes...

Arnav tried to to take his hand back but-

Khushi: ufff! What r you doing arnavji. can't you see I;m sleeping

Saying that she snuggled into him more keeping her head on his chest

Arnav stilled: khushi, your two minutes is over.

Khushi: 2 seconds arnavji.

Arnav: 1, 2- there you go, done!

Khushi opened her eyes in annoyance and got up to which arnav smirked.

Khushi: what the?!

Arnav raised an eye-brow.

Khushi: this is not done Arnavji!

He said with a grumpy face and then looked at him.

Khushi: and why are you not going now? What are you waiting for?

Arnav: my good-morning kiss?

Khushi smirked and leaned to place a peck on his lip.

Arnav: mmm .. nothing is as sweet as you khushi.

The bright red shade crept into khushi's cheek at his comment to which he leaned and kissed her cheeks and headed towards the washroom.

Eveyone was having breakfast in the dining table. Arnav and akash were busy romancing their wives while Anjali and Nani enjoyed the scene.

Anjali cleared her throat: oh god nani! Don't you think it's more like a romancing table than dining table?

Nani: hmm Anjali bitiya. My two grandsons are not even paying attention to what we're saying.

Arshi and payash were in their own world romancing but were interrupted by Anjali.

Anjaali: chhote, akash?

No response made anajali's mouth agape. He literally banged the table to get their attention.

Arnav: what the?!

Akash fixed his specs.

Anjali: yes chote! What the? I thought you were getting late. And here you're busy romancing khushiji. And akash! When did you become so romantic huh?

Khushi and payal blushed and left out a giggle when Akash started blushing too.

Arnav: seriously akash! Be a man! why are you blushing?

Arnav: what? no ... no bhai. I was...

Arnav's phone rang.. it was aman.

Aman: ASR, we enquired about the last event. The guards said-

Arnav: ya get that file into my cabin. I'll be there soon.

Aman: huh?

Arnav: di pass me the juice please, nani, akash, khushi, mami?

Arnav to the family members: uhh nothing.

Everyone looked at him

Arnav purposely called the family member's name so that he realizes it's not the right time.

Aman bit his tongue. He's surely gonna be grounded by ASR if the family members get to know about this.

Aman: oh sorry sorry! I'll talk to you in the office. Bye.

Arnav got up form his chair.

Arnav: di, I'm leaving now. Bye nani.

Anjali and nani: bye chote.

Khushi went with arnav to the door.

Arnav: I might be a bit late. Make sure you have your dinner. Don't wait for me.

He leaned to place a peck on her right cheek: bye sweetheart!

He turned to left.

Khushi: why does he kiss my right cheek all the time and not the left one?

Unfortunetly it was not unheard by her beloved husband who instantly turned around with his eye brows to touching the roof-top and attacked her left cheek with continuous kisses.

Khushi with wide eyes and gasping: arnavji what are you doing?! move.

Arnav stopped to say something and then started again..

Khushi struggling: you what? arnavji! we're in our living room. Let go.

Arnav: I thought you were sad about me not gving the same attention to your left cheek.

And he started kissing continuously again. A giggling sound made her push him back hard and turned around.

Anjali and payal was giggling at the two lovebirds much to arnav's annoyance.

Arnav: never interrupt when I romance with khushi, di!

With that he placed a last peck on her left cheek and left.

Khushi: Shameless!

Precap:

Khushi's phone started to ring and "unknown number" displayed on the screen.

Khushi: hello?

Man: he will meet with an accident.
