"Ahem Ahem" came a throaty voice. Khushi understood who it was.
"So Khushi, how did you like this room?" Arnav asked the question out the blue.
Khushi was confused, she scrunched her forehead.
"Doesn't it look classy?" Arnav asked very casually.
That's when Khushi looked around the room. It was painted Gray white. It had a very classy appearance. The furnitures were arranged perfect.
She just looked at him not knowing why he asked such question.
"Is it looking richer than your Australian boyfriend's room?" He asked putting a wide smile.
There goes. Khushi understood where he was coming. She just completed her works quietly and started leaving.
"Not so easily. Tell me" Arnav pulled her arms.
"Sir, leave my Hand. I think I am not Obliged to answer such personal questions" Khushi said calmly yet firmly.
Yes this was something Arnav dint expect. He knew his Khushi was Stubborn. But not calm to this level and firm n retorting.
"Don't talk like this to me. Not now. I have your everything in my hand. I can as I please." Arnav said coldly.
And this was unexpected for Khushi. She has always seen him calm or playful but now he has turned stone hearted. Using this, Arnav pulled her close and pinned her to the wall. Khushi winced in pain as his grip on her arms was tight.
"Khushi, what was the mistake I did? Just because I dint have money that time you left me n went in search of someone rich. Really you were behind money even after I showered so much love on you."
Arnav asked n choked as he could not take her betrayal nor believe that she did the same. He was swinging between two thoughts of his mind.
"Sir please don't do this to me. You are hurting me. And I think you know my answer. I hope you remember my letter." Khushi said and closed her eyes as a tear drop rolled down her cheek. That was the limit. Arnav could never see her tears nor when he loved nor when he hates her. Never in his life he could tolerate this.
"LEAVE THE ROOM NOW" he yelled.
Khushi just vanished.
"What is happening to me. How did I lose my control. I brought her here for seeking vengeance. Not to play love games." Arnav hit himself for breaking down in front of her.
All this was noticed by a person. It was none other than Sanaah. She came to Arnav's room to tell that Anjali called him. But here she witnessed the encounter between thse two.
She just left from there as she knew that Arnav needs some peace.
She checked her watch, it showed 8:30 am.
She went from there to meet Adi. Aman was in his washroom taking morning shower. He was already late. He knew his boss must be busy with certain someone, so he just went to take a quick shower. At that time, Sanaah barged in and yelled.
"Bhai, where are you?"
"Arey Chinto, at least let me take a peaceful shower, you always come at the right place in wrong time." Aman Chided and looked up.
Devi maiyya who was busy fighting with her husband Bhagwaan ji, just stopped in middle and looked at Aman and heard him.
"Ye lo, Khud Teda bole dusron ko teda(Look, he himself being crook is complaining others to be the cook). He is the one who is Nosy all the time and he is saying that this smart girl is Nosy" She complained to BJ.
"Leave na Devi, you know he is a manufacture defect. Come here, I will get some jalebi, we will eat together" Bj said cheekily trying to divert DM from her yelling session at him.
"Huh, needed that, come ji lets go before this Nosy Mathur pokes his nose in our private time" Dm said and pulled BJ along with her.
"Bhai, You are the one who is like that. Now tell Me where is Aditya Gupta? He has not yet reported to nigde" She asked banging the washroom door.
"Arey Chinto, he is promoted as junior chef under Chef. Sanjay. He will be there in Chef's Stay area. His place living is shifted there. Now let me bath girl" Aman yelled not knowing that Sanaah already left to the Chef's villa.
There Aditya was sitting on his bed lost in deep thoughts.
"Adi what are you thinking?" Sanaah came there and started her questioning.
"Sanaah, why am I suddenly promoted? And Why is still Jiji given Room service work n not some other office work? And mainly, what are you doing here? Who is your bhai?" Adi was keep on asking.
"Easy Adi, give a break. You are promoted, so be happy, Jiji will also get a good work, I guarantee. I am Sanaah Mathur, remember? So I am Aman Mathur's sister. He is the general manager here." Sanaah said ruffling his hair.
"So you are... forget it. Now tell me what are you doing here this early?" Adi asked frowning.
"Woh Adi, can you please tell me Why Jiji left her lover? Don't ask why what and all. Just answer my question. I can help her." Sanaah said in determined tone to which Adi had to oblige. He smiled at her stubborn feature.
"Three years back Jiji loved some rich boy in delhi while studying. They were so happy. But one day Jiji came crying to my room I asked what heppend. She asked me to book a ticket for her to Lucknow. I knew something was wrong. I asked her what happened. Then only she said about her love. Then she said that she left her lover. I asked why as she said that they were happy. Then only she said that he has financial problem in his business. To cope with that he had to marry a rich girl whose father was willing to help them with his ancestral property. Only when he marries the girl he can use that. That Boy's father's dream was that business, but being in love with Jiji he dint marry the girl. Jiji felt that she was standing in between his family's dream and his bright future. So she left him without telling him the actual reason." Adi completed his story.
Sanaah understood. But there were some more missing pieces of the puzzle missing. She knew from where she should get. But for now she just kept quiet.
"So Adi.. you are promoted. Let me give you a treat" saying she winked and went close to him.
*Lets leave this love birds in private*
Here Khushi was going mad with what was going on around her. She thought that Arnav will hurt her instead he broke down. Only god knows how she controlled herself then. Only one thought was bothering her that moment.
Why is Arnav around her now? Where is his wife and mainly now Where is his mother? Arnav will never do such things when they are around.
So she just decided to distance herself.
It was lunch break. She decided to tell Nanhe about her promotion. Least she knew that he already knew it and he was also promoted.
She went in search of him. There in the garden she bumped on someone.
"Sorry, in hurry I dint notice" Khushi straightened herself and was about to help the other. Then only they noticed each other.
"Khushiji?"
"Yeah me.. you are Ansh's Bua if I am not wrong" Khushi smiled wide forgetting her confusions at the thought of the kids.
"Yeah. I am Anjali Ansh's Bua. Well if you don't mind join me to our cottage. Ansh and Meetthi are there. they will be happy to see you." Anjali asked with a cute smile. Khushi agreed immediately as she wanted to see the kids.
They both walked to the last cottage.
"Khushiji, do you like interiors and decoratings?" Anjali asked. Khushi first frowned at her sudden question.
"Why are you asking Anjaliji?"
"Its just that Ansh and Meetthi said that when they met you you were arranging flowers in the vase in a room. So thought may be you liked to do so in free time."
"No Anjaliji, I don't do that in free time. But its actually my job. I'm working here. And what I was doing was a part of my job." Khushi smiled genuinely while Anjali looked confused.
"You look like well educated. Am I right?"
"Yes, I am a graduate in business studies" Khushi admitted without knowing the reason behing the quest.
"Then why are you doing such jobs?"
"Well that is the job I am asked to do by the Boss here" Khushi blurted out without even thinking once.
"Looks like the boss here is out of his Mind. Isn't it?"Anjali asked rising her left eye brow.
"Yeah. Well lets not talk about that. Tell me about you." Khushi changed the topic.
"Yeah, well I am a graduate of Delhi University 2009 pass out. And My husband is from same Uni. We loved and my Bhai and n Maa got us married. Well we did lots of stunts in college. Haha." Anjali said remembering all her love stunts.
"Well I am also from same uni but I am 2010 pass out. My seniors also used to do stunts. Like bunking the class, mainly Madhan sir's class. I think you know him. being his favorite student I used mark their attendance. After all I did that for my Bhai" She said proudly.
"Who is your bhai. I thought your bhai is too working here. Then whom are you talking about." Anjali asked totally confused.
"Well Anjali ji, In uni I had a Bhai, he always care for me. He used to call me Butterfly and treat me like his sister. So I call him bhai." Khushi explained as they reached the cottage entrance.
Anjali halted as something dawned on her. she just held Khushi's hand and asked,
"Khushi ji, what is his name?" Anjali asked in surprise tone.
"He is Yash Kulkarni. My Yashu bhai" Khushi said noticing Anjali's expression.
"What the" was the only thing Anjali could manage.
