Chapter 30 :

Arnav and khushi had a fast track security check and soon they were led to his private jet. They were settled in their seats and were waiting for take off.Khushi was nervous going back to india, she was sure they would be happy to meet her but was scared to meet the raizaadas. Though she knew they will not be angry with her but still she thought she was doing something wrong. Her chain of thoughts came to halt when arnav called her.

Arnav was observing khushi closely. He knew what she was thinking so in order to stop her thoughts he called her.

Arnav : Khushi... Stop thinking. No one is angry with you and they understand you.

Khushi was shocked thinking how come arnav knew what she was thinking. But then it was her arnavji and for him she was like an open book. After he confirmed that no one will be angry she relaxed a bit. Soon the plane started and they spoke for sometime and then khushi started feeling sleepy, she slept on arnav's shoulder and he sat admiring his khushi. He woke her up for lunch and they spoke for sometime with khushi doing most of the talking, telling him about her college, her studies, her friends. Soon they reached delhi and aman was there to welcome khushi. The moment khushi saw him she gave a broad smile to aman. Aman was shocked to see khushi in this new attire. He had always seen her in salwaar but then seeing her in western clothes made him think whether she is really changed but then his confusion vanished when she gave his a million dollar smile. He knew whatever she may wear but she is and will always be the same old khushiji. Aman greeted her with a warm smile and soon got settled to go to shanthivan where the rest of the family was waiting for arnav's arrival. Aman had informed that arnav was arriving today so the guptas were also present so they could ask him about khushi.

Soon they arrived at shanthivan and khushi was in tears. She was nervous as well a lot of emotions going on in her mind, how will they react but she knew she can handle anything since her arnavji was with her. The car stopped at the entrance and she took a deep breath to cool down her nervousness and followed arnav and aman towards the door.

All were eagerly waiting for their arrival but as soon as they heard the bell ringing no one could move an inch. All were glued to their places. HP came out from kitchen to see all of them looking at the door as if they were scared to open it. He made his way thinking whether he should open it or no but then wanted to see who is at the door so opened it and he had a huge smile on his face. He screamed Khushi Bhabhi.. Aap?

That was more than enough for the rest of them to come to reality and make a run towards the door and again all were shocked to see khushi. They thought they were just imagining her and when they blink their eyes she will vanish but as khushi moved towards them and touched naani's feet they got confirmed that indeed khushi was with them. Anjali was thinking how will khushi react after seeing her. But khushi was behaving normally as if nothing happened and anjali was relieved a little. The next moment only cries were heard seeing khushi and she was hugged by everybody to make sure she was in real and they all forgot the other two souls standing at the doorstep which was aman & arnav. Arnav looked at aman and gave a unbelievable look and moved into the house. Only then the rest of them saw these two souls.

Anjali : Chotte when did u come? U came with khushiji... How come we dint notice you first.

Arnav: What the Di? Of course i came with khushi but as all your eyes were set only on her how can see me. U people dint bother to welcome the owner of this house... What a fate...

The family noticed the changes in khushi, she was no more a girl who used to wear indian clothes. She was wearing western clothes and she was comfortable with it and also she spoke good english and kept telling about her friends in the university.

After some time HP announced dinner is ready, all of them went to have their dinner. The night passed with the guptas taking their leave and khushi joining them to GH. Arnav wanted her to stay with him in RM but he knew it was not possible so he just nodded at her decision and left to his room for another sleepless night.

The guptas reached GH and all were happy that khushi has returned. They wanted to speak to her regarding her future. But then they knew its better to give her sometime and then speak. Since all were tired they retired to their room and khushi settled herself in her bed and waited for sleep. She was about to sleep when she felt slight movement near the window. She was first confused as would it be but then she thought of checking herself. She moved towards the window and opened it and saw arnav standing near it. She was shocked but was happy that he came here. She let him in and closed the window.

Khushi : Arnavji.. What are you doing here. I thought u might have slept by this time after long journey.

Arnav: I... I i couldnt sleep khushi so i just came to see you.

Khushi : Awww... Arnavji u are too much now go slepp and let me also sleep i am really tired.

Arnav: Khushi can i can i sleep here with you.. I..i will just i mean i just want to keep seeing you when u r sleeping.

Khushi : Arnavji i am not running anywhere. I am going to stay here for a week. So we can meet daily. Now please go and sleep. U promised me to take care of your health.

Arnav pulled her into a hug and khushi was initially shocked but then relaxed and hugged him. After sometime he broke the hug and gently kissed her on her forehead and went out through the window and drove back to RM. Khushi had a smile on her face. She went to a peaceful sleep thinking about her arnavji.
