Part 3

Kushi didn't even realize that they already crossed the water and are on the either side of the bank. Her eyes widened. She didn't even realize all the time. And she shamelessly admired him? How could she? After reaching to the ground he dropped her down as delicately as he can, he don't want to hurt her anywhere. Tucking her hair locks behind she parted her lips to say something but he interrupted

Arnav: no need to thank kushi'I think you've said this a 100 times till now..he said with his playful smile'a blush crept on her cheeks..he felt happy that that colour which adorned her cheeks in cos of him. She was looking too cute in his coat, her damp hair, her flushed face..he smirked and made his way but kushi held his hand'but pulled back immediately

Kushi: who'you didn't tell me how you know my name..?

Arnav shrugged his shoulders while walking and replied cooly

Arnav: tum bhi mujhe nahin bataya ki who log kaun hai?

Kushi's face faded away..the word goons stuck in her mind..all the events flashed..silent tears rolled on her cheeks. Arnav noticed this and rushed to her

Arnav: kushi'im sorry'are you okay?

Kushi wiped her tears and gave a broad smile and started ahead of him.what kind of a girl she is? At one moment she will cry and at the other she will smile. Arnav gave an unbelievable look and started walking to overtake her. There is silence 'no conversation..both didn't knew where to start!

They have been walking for hours..but only silence..kushi almost nearly fainted two times but arnav saved her like always. It was hot sun in the air..kushi walked vigorously TO grab some tree's shadow..she jerked back and bumped her back to arnav. She felt something moving in bushes..she stood motionless scared that it might be an animal

Arnav chuckled seeing her reaction which irked kushi

Kushi: aap hasre? Aap jaanthe mein kitni dar gay the?

She accused him with her hands on her waist and throwing daggers at him. He smiled and replied controlling his giggles

Arnav: No way kushi'but im just wondering you are scared of everything

This made kushi's anger touch his peak. No, she is a brave girl. She is not scared to all things. But unfortunately she is coming across the things she scared off. She pointed his finger at him and shouted

Kushi: kya mathlab hai aapka?

Arnav shrugged his shoulders and showed his sexy smirk replying

Arnav: of course, you are scared of the dark, of water and now'this!

He said which his eyebrow up and smirk..kushi's nose flared in anger while arnav enjoyed the view of her tiny nose burning..he covered his mouth with his palm and chukled more. Kushi raised her chin up and replied stammering

Kushi: nai'aisi koi baath nahi'.im not scared of anything

She replied trying to act all normal, arnav liked this and decided to play with her

Arnav: yes you are kushi! accept it

Kushi got irked with him and replied with her wide open mouth and arms on her hips

Kushi: achaa? What do you think haan?? I can even go through this forest ALL ALONE

She said stressing on her words, pronouncing them all clear with her mouth open and wide and expressions. Arnav raised his brows and folded his arms to his chest and asked

Arnav: ALL ALONE? Really?

Kushi raised her chin and nodded her head

Kushi: ji, haan'I can go alone..i don't need your help..u can go!

She said with an attitude. Well, this is a fun to watch thought arnav. He tugged his lips and replied

Arnav: so, you want me to go?

Kushi gave an unbelievable look to him and spat out

Kushi: of course..u may go..i can manage myself

She said airing her nails

Arnav with his playful smirk started taking his steps backward and repeated

Arnav: im leaving..

Kushi: haan'go now'

She thought he was joking..she just don't want to make herself weak in front of him..

Taking more backward steps he yelled

Arnav: im going'im serious..

Kushi closed her eyes and ears tightly and yelled back out of her lungs

Kushi: okay gooo!!!!!!!!!

Kushi slowly opened one of her eyes and narrowed them..there was none there. She opened her bothe eyes in shock. She took a few steps forward but no sign of him. Did he really leave? Her heart gripped in fear. She was just joking. Did he take it serious. Can he leave her like that? Doesn't she mean anything to him? She drew his coat which she wore closer to her tugging it as tight as possible..she felt terrified. She strolled in that place..what she have to do now? She cursed herself..how stupid of her? She started walking chanting " devi mayya"..tears brimmed her doe eyes..she didn't knew where she was going..she just numbly walked forward..gripping her heart in her palms she slowly walked when someone pushed her and shouted

Booo

Kushi closed her eyes and yelled to the top of her lungs

Kushi:AAAHHH

After a few seconds she heard some chuckles, opening her eyes she found arnav laughing uncontrollably. Anger raised like a volcano in her self..how dare he play a prank on her? How dare he? She stood flaming in anger while arnav asked in between his laughs

Arnav: kya hua? Why are you looking at me like that?

He was still laughing but started running when kushi tried to attack him. Arnav ran in the way his legs went..while kushi followed him yelling

Kushi: wait arnav ji'how dare you do this..?

Both where actually laughing and running and behind each other..they didn't even realize which way they went'kushi was chasing arnav and finally arnav's legs betrayed him..kushi walked towards him angrily and finally both broke into laughter, laughing hard..arnav just admired her, she was laughing with her heart. How lively she looked..he haven't seen this smile since yesterday..he just silently prayed that she remain like this forever happy.

And suddenly both realized that they are on the high way..wow! finally they can catch some vehicle. both sighed and turned their back to find anything to go..and to their shock the goons are there with their vehicles.

Rocky: wah! What did u think? Running away? There is no way to escape 'rocky said pointing at kushi while kushi moved back of arnav hiding herself in her saviors wings. She clutched his shirt tightly. And then she heard arnav's whisper

Arnav: 1'2'3'.RUN!

That it! Their hands united in strength and they ran towards the other end of the forest. They just found a way out but fate is definitely a game with them. The goons along with rocky and das followed them with pistols..soon they reached two ways'they did not find anything other than trees, bushes and rocks..they are literally in the middle of nowhere..arnav led her to the other way while the goons divided into two teams..das's team followed the other way while rocky's team followed arnav and kushi's path..they can see the red reflection of kushi..as the cars can't get into the forest , they started running too..while arnav was running through the thorny trees, one of the big thorns pricked into his shoulders, and he hissed in pain

Kushi: arnav ji, aap teeke?

Kushi panicked and reached him, but there is no time to remove it..arnav dragged kushi along with him..the goons were already nearing them for every second. They ran and ran ..tears burned down in her eyes..kushi lost all her strength..they didn't find a damn place to hide themselves.

But a banyan tree with some hiding place caught arnav's sight. He led her to the tree and both hid inside in its trunk. There was no much space in it just a room for two..just two. Kushi and arnav stood so close to each other. They heard rock' voices along with the goons. They passed by the tree. Hearing their footsteps nearer, kushi hid her face in arnav's chest in fear. They were so close that they can feel each other's breath on their necks. His exhaling air shivered inner self of kushi. eye to eye, their nose touching each other. They have no other way. Both tried their level best not to touch each other but lack of space made them stick to each other. Arnav knew she is uncomfortable. Every girl feels that way. He tried his best to move backwards the wall of the tree trunk but kushi placed her hand on his shoulder and whispered

Kushi: its okay arnav ji'I fine..

Arnav smiled lightly..she trusts him..his heart smiled in glee. Her open palms were still placed on his chest. Her breath fanning his cheek. After a few minutes they heard rocky's voice

Rocky: damn'they have escaped..let me find them..i will make them into pieces!

The words scared kushi...panic stroke on her..she is in danger and because of her, arnav ji is in danger too.. Blood dripping from his wounds..he was all the time trying to save her and he got hurt..Some of the thorns were still stuck on his shoulders...this is all because of her...it's her problem, she have to leave..she cant see him hurt anymore..she don't know why, but she felt some connection with him. Mean while arnav peeped out and concluded that they left the field. He walked out of the tree but kushi was still in there crying.

But her tears were unknown as it started raining heavily..she wrapped his coat around herself, more closer than it could ever be. The blood was flowing on. She rushed to him and made him sit on a rock. It was still raining and they both were totally drenched. Arnav did not get what is she up to. She tore a piece of her duppatta. She was about to touch his shoulders but arnav stopped

Arnav: kushi..its okay..chill

She stopped him with her palms

Kushi: aap chup hojayiye..itna khoon nikalre..

She was sobbing and sniffing. He easily figured out she was crying even thought it was raining. She slowly reached his wound and with utter care she removed the thorns. He hissed in pain..she blow near his wound and tied it with her duppatta.

It was so cold'her all hairs on her arms stood up straight. The rain stopped slowly, but they don't have a any light. They sat on the slope like rock for sometime..it was getting darker and kushi was feeling frightened. Not of the darkness but because of everything..what may happen tomrw? She have no idea what is going to happen in the next second. She shifted her gaze towards him. The wound pain is reflecting onhis face but he is very well hidden it..what is going all here? She had never knew him? He don't know her? Does he? He is risking his life for her..and she? Her heart is aching seeing him hurt. What connection is this.. how many days they will escape and rum? They have to find a solution

Arnav collected some logs for fireplace'but how come fire? Kushi saw that he was in deep thinking. From where they will get fire? Even she is distressed an idea stroke in her mind..of course, how did the early man survive in caves. She smiled and collected two stones and started striking them against each other. Arnav gave her a stupid look

Arnav: this is not going to work out kushi'u believe this shit?

Kushi did not react to him..she started striking hardly and suddenly the fire came up and shocking both of them , mostly arnav. He looked at her in awe as she raised her collar with an attitude and set the fireplace. He walked towards her and sat

Arnav: I didn't knew u have brains kushi..

Kushi's mouth formed a perfect O and she hit his shoulder playfully forgetting that he is hurt. Arnav hissed in pain, placing his hand on his shoulder..it was a quite too hard for him. Kushi immediately realized..her eyes became glassy, tears streaming down her face..the words sorry slipped out from her mouth

Kushi: im sorry arnav ji..i didn't mean to..

Arnav cupped her cheeks..and wiped those tears and tried to assure her

Arnav: kushi'choti si chot hai..

She cried burying herself in her chest. How many people she will hurt like this? If not today then someother day HE will defently get hold of her..and then? Before even he can search her, she have to leave..she cant let him hurt arnav anymore..this is none of arnav's business..she cant hurt him anymore. His hand was still caressing her hair.

His words rewinded in her mind

" ohoo kushi ji..dont even try to run away from me..cos u wont succeed..and if anyone try to come between us, I will kill him or her"

She wiped her tears and stood abruptly

Kushi: arnav ji..u go from here..warna..bahuth garbar hojayega..

She was sobbing hard..panicked..scared..terrified, worried..she just don't know what she is thinking

Arnav: kushi'what are you?

Kushi: no arnav ji..you have done me so much till now..u have to go from here..if not..if not..he will not leave you..

He held her shivering and sobbing body tight and made her look into his eyes

Arnav: who is that he kushi? tell me?

Kushi brokedown on the ground and replied

Kushi: SHYAM!!!!
