Making sure she doesn't trip, she walked passed his one of his egoist secretary. Personally they were next to useless. And they were kept for his entertainment, nothing else. But also they served a great relaxing view to all the male workers here. And she just chuckled on their state.
"I have to meet Sir" Kria replied to one of his secretary. Huh, there was no point on asking these bitches, whether to meet him or not. It was irritating. Ugh, No she is not jealous, but definitely jealous with the attention these secretaries get from staff and maybe from Rey too. She jerked her head, junking her thoughts out from her head.
She elegantly stepped inside that perfectly furnished room; the perfumed air tickled her bones. Goosebumps rising all along her arm length. And the reason of it was unknown to her. May be that was because of Rey's presence? No, definitely no. It is because of the air conditioner here. Its temperature must be too down. If so then why is she sweating? Huh, she felt pity and angry on her nerves, how dumb of them too loose control at this crucial time.
"Yes" she heard his electrifying voice ringing in her ears. His eyes fixed at her, questioningly, with a slight wicked shine. His lips perfectly curved into a smile and with his everlasting charm he held her nerves so tight, again.
"Ermm...The files Sir." She spoke out abruptly, after battling with her throat that had refused to speak.
"So sweet of you to work in your extra time Kria, you deserve a holiday." His smile widened. But more was she happy. A holiday? Was this he speaking? Her mind started planning her day out, what she would do, what she will wear on her Holiday...
"Thank You Sir, I was asking for my leave only. Can I go now?" As these words flew out from her mouth, they went straight into his heart. The way her lips moved so effortlessly to voice out different words. How expressive were her eyes, which get wider and wider in anticipation, her hairs which she had so gracefully tied up in a bun. He was no more listening to her but just noticing her- the best thing he could do, perhaps the only thing he does.
"Sir?" she confiscated his thoughts from his land to reality.
"Ahh Yes... say" He said, slapping his head.
"I may go now." She retaliated, turning around to leave.
"Kriaaa ..." He spoke out suddenly, walking towards her. But little he knew that he voice could create miracles.
She turned around on her 3 inch heel unknowingly twisting her ankle. And what happened next was the same thing which had welcomed him in his office this afternoon- Her falling into his arms, and he'd caught her perfectly in his arms, this was the other perfect thing he could do, rather than staring her.
