Nk's concern for Khushi is adorable, seeing that he went to the extent of sending Payal to check up on Khushi during the power cut and is now questioning her on being MIA… Khushi quoting Jack Nicholson and their argument about actors deteriorating into a funny debate about her choice of fruit having her racist overtones is endearing… nice to see Khushi trying to be her usual self and not sharing her facts of her misadventure with the others… that would have complicated matters… Payal being in the choir and having the whole band looking out for her is interesting info… looks like Akash will have not only Khushi but the whole band to contend with if he's to get closer to Payal! NK is still trying to catch Lavanya's eye… can't wait to see if his ploy will succeed. Looks like Payal and Lavanya may in some way be instrumental in promoting NK's and Akash's love story.

Had a feeling Khushi will stop arguing with Arnav during the class debates… she did say she should focus on healing her own fears rather than on other things, didn't she? Wonder how long this ceasefire will hold! Khushi's non-combative stand seems to have surprised not only Arnav but Madhumati also. Haha, Arnav feeling disappointed at Khushi foregoing their heated arguments, besides thoroughly disliking being ignored by her is damn endearing. Poor fellow, his life has lost its spice! Even the voices within Arnav seem to love debating… that convo was a lot of fun. Dear lord, he was turning into Khushi Kumari Gupta! Arnav almost groaned… the notion that he was turning into his nemesis must have frightened the pants off him! So 'V' is Arnav's nickname for Lavanya, and she's the one who reports his run-ins with his professors to his mom… that is a surprise. Eager to learn what 'V' stands for. The love stories are really getting complicated: now it looks like Payal has a crush on NK… poor Akash… this is truly a Comedy of Errors! God help Khushi, Akash is hoping to set her up with NK and the latter is hoping to set her up with Akash… then, there's Arnav who stresses her out… life is going to be a rollercoaster ride for Khushi very soon, methinks! Loved the eclectic mix of members in the band. "We need to rehearse in front of the organizing committee in a few days. It would be embarrassing to make mistakes in front of them, wouldn't it?" Aww NK, what you should have said is that it would be embarrassing for you to make a fool of yourself in front of Lavanya, again! The note exchange at the end is just hilarious! With all the players hopefully gathering in one place, the fund raiser has a lot of potential for further confusion and cross-connections, or so it seems!

First things first: NEVER compare Nicholson and Bachchan. NEVER. It is a shame greater than comparing Chagall and Michelangelo. And while we are at it - NEVER compare Freeman and Bachchan either. ;)

I howled with laughter at the following:

1. YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! - Yeah baby - courtroom drama it is!

2. You are a racist: Using chikoos and bananas (which are incidentally both fairly terrible fruits if you ask me) to prove an argument that Khushi is racist - now that is genius!

3. The cousins' notes; Perfect. I could almost sense that the f**k you note was coming up :)

Oh wait, that basically means I was pretty much howling all through the chapter

And yes, we have moved into the next stage eh? If Kay is trying reverse psychology here, I would thump her on her back for being the best and I would say it really is working. She let go of an opportunity to critique Russell - yep - its either a game being played very well - which I wouldn't put past either or the change that happened at the end of the last chapter - which has me all intrigued to see if an unlikely friendship is up next.

Payalia is quite the naive little one, isn't she?
