I feel for Sumer. He has this very delicate relationship with his son where they walk on eggshells around each other and at the same time, Sumer is in a way giving Khushi more importance than Arnav. Sumer is worried that Arnav will hurt her. He needs to believe in his son. Otherwise, the gap between them will never go away. Where there is trust, there is love.

It was so cute when Khushi complimented Arnav in her filmy style and then he immediately told himself to wear blue more often. And then the desire for having the same routine with Khushi that Sumer did made me go awww. How long is Arnav going to fight himself? His inner struggle is legit, however. Whatever relationship he has been in has been transient. First he lost his father and then his mother. The two most important people in a child's life and both deserted him one way or another. No wonder he doesn't want to rock the boat.

But what makes me cry out for him is that he believes that he isn't cut out for happiness. He's given up and that is not the Arnav we know. But he is not weak. He's just emotionally stunted. Very much so. BUT he's simply shutdown and Khushi will restart him! (sorry, the geek in me couldn't help itself 😳)

This was a brilliant chapter. So many revelations!

Simply loved the update...its a beautiful story about beautiful souls they are all wounded in a different way yet are giving life another chance...careful as to not to disturb the delicate balance of their emotions.Arnav Khushi Sumer Buaji all are simple yet complex in their own unique way .They all have insecurities like all of us.I love ur story coz it reflects every emotion known to humans.And your style of writing is pure magic 👏

Faboulous update...beautifully written...Absolutly loved it...can Khushi get any cuter.
Awww Arnav feels no body should push Khushi in a corner as he can't see her feeling even a little bit down...he has started to feel for Khushi and it wont be too long before he falls in love with her.
Arnav's dad can't understand what happend how is he behaving so normal with Khushi and listens to her blabbering and pays attention.
Karan is getting married to Shreya and Lavanya is getting married to NK so it's wedding season in our FF now...time to party. Khushi was so funny match making and getting all upset on karan's behalf and telling him not to worry she will talk to Lavanya...she is so sweet just like jalebi.

once again sorry for the delay but here now finally
after all must give this my 200% right
so lets get down to it then
and so we begin on the start of their love story
well in stages anyway right
awww poor baby is struck in traffic again
man thats bad as he is missing out on more khushi time
i know shouldnt call it khushi time but thats what it is naa
she sure is worried for him still which he will be happy to know about naa
of course he will after all all this care and attention is helping him fall for her
and one is very happy with the way things are going between arhi
okay must stop spouting so much rubbish and concentrate on the story again
well thats khushi for you
even your son who could barely stand her name being mentioned now is so close to her
no one could have done what she did with him
i know you are apprehensive but dont be khushi knows what she is into with arnie
trust me its nothing to be worried about only she can get him out of his shell
and she will do it unknowingly too
thats the best thing about it with her
wow he is observing how his son interacts with ladoo
well can ya blame him he to would like to know how did she manage the impossible naa
as you can see he doesnt mind her chattering or bak bak
which is i am sure surprising to you but not to us
he has gotten used to the same naa
and now if she is silent he gets worried
who would have thought right that it would come to this but it has
and this is just the tip of the iceberg
he is shedding his past horrors slowly
more like he is finally accepting life and is gonna give himself another chance at happiness and she is perfect in bringing it about
and she will though there might be lots of times when there could be setback and yet am sure she will pull him through the darkness of his life
yup she has brought a lot of changes in arnie
and i bet he dont even realise the same funny no
wow he really is into taking care that she is up on time that he dont snap at her
haiyye this is just what we wanted from them and now that its happening cant be happy about it more and more wow
well i think that might just happen
knowing her she will make sure it happens
though she of course wont know of the same for sure funny naa
that would be so cool if what his dad though would happen but not yet am sure

ahhh yes that is still to overcome aint it the relationship between the father son duo
but i think once again only khushi can help here for sure
she will have to be the common link between the two of you
and am sure she will bridge the gaps between you both only

man yes this situation aint no good but what can be done except to wait for khushi to work her magic
i know it wont be all on her but they too will have to make an effort to make their bond stronger
something which was broken by his mother curse that woman
she aint there anymore but what damage she has done to these two behind her is just sad man
trust me when we say this he no longer holds any grudges for the person he once thought was his replacement
and soon a time will come when she shall be all he will think of
and that day will be best for all concerned
he has befriended her more like she befriended him but he did accept her for that
and it can only get better one hopes from here
yup all good so dont worry about it too much
and yes course she wont know what he is thinking since he doesnt let people in does he
but he will have to let her in to be able to get through the heart ache of his past
defo she is doing all she can to undo the damage caused by you both
and for that we can all be grateful to her
i know he didnt do what he did on purpose but the scars for arnie do remain naa

Hi... Love the way story is going right now. Read last few chapters all in one go after an extended vacations...thanks for still sending me the pm's

Acceptance had silently started taking its roots...

This line sums up for me what Arnav is feeling. You so beautifully convey all the insecurities which have taken root in Arnav right from his childhood and has made him what he is... The way he feels when does not see Khusi waiting for him... His being jealous of his own father... Him wanting Khusi to help him dress up...him taking mental note of wearing blue more often 😊... Him not liking Khusi being in a fix... Most of all him consoling himself that he is happy with Khusi as his friend as long as both of them are under the same roof... His insecurities make him feel like he does not deserve anyone's love and he wants to avoid being hurt... Why do I feel that the moment there is any scenario in which he feels Khusi would move away from his surroundings that he would come face to face with his true feelings and work towards making Khusi only HIS

on the other hand found Khusi's jealousy cute and her planning to marry LA with her chachu was funny

Glad that Sumer Singh has noticed the change in the equation... Khusi's efforts of bringing Arnav close to the family are not missed by him... He had hopes for both of them, well Sumer Singh keep hoping they just might be fulfilled

Cannot wait to read next one

Beautiful update :). I used to be one of ur silent readers but couldnt help commenting after reading the 14th chapter. Ur characters progress beautifully nothing is rushed and so it seems all natural.
