Arnav hesitated and took a deep breath, "um Khushi, I wanted to see her"

" I was going today, do you want to go?!" Lavanya asked. Arnav nodded and they walked back inside informing everyone that they were going to meet Khushi. Arnav and Lavanya got ready and they left, leaving Sakshi at home with Nani, Mami and Anjali.

Arnav went inside Khushi's room while Lavanya sat outside. Arnav was shocked when he saw Khushi. She was connected to many machines. He walked towards her and kissed her pale forehead. He sat beside her and held onto her hand. She looked as weak as ever, the last time he saw her was fresh in his mind.

Flashback starts

When Arnav found out that Anjali lost her baby, he left the hospital and went to a bar. After midnight a drunk Arnav returned home to find Khushi sitting on the bed crying.

Arnav looks at Khushi.

Khushi: Do you think I'm responsible for what happened to Di?!

Arnav shouts: Yes' everything happened because of you.

(Khushi was in a state of shock)

Arnav continued: You're the reason why Shyam left Di and now Di lost her baby. I wish I never met you. Why don't you just leave? Huh!! The six months contract is up, technically we're already divorced, so what's holding you back?!

Khushi: Arnavji I... (She starts sobbing)

Arnav: Leave ( he starts packing her bag)

Khushi: Please, Arnavji, don't do this

He shoved the bag into her hands and pushed her out of the room, locking the door.

Flashback ends

Arnav spoke, "Khushi, im sorry. That night, I shouldn't have said those things to you!! I really regret it. Im really sorry"

Lavanya sat outside the hospital room remembering what Khushi had told her when she had found her and brought her home.

Flashback starts

Arnav pushed her outside the room, Khushi walked downstairs holding her stomach; where her unborn child was growing. Her husband just told her to leave the house. Her baby' what would she do?! She knew that she was not going to turn to Buaji' Buaji already had so many worries and tension; she didn't need to add two more problems. She was going to go away from there, to try to mend her broken life. She wiped her tears and walked out of the Raizada house.

With the little money she had, she had managed to survive one long hard month on her own. She needed to find a job fast because she had nothing left to sell or pawn. She walked into a busy street and sat on a bench nearby. She caressed her now 5month old baby bump.

Khushi thought; Was she so invisible that not one of the Raizada members even figured out that she was pregnant. When she changed from her slim fitting shalwars to the loose fitting ones' no one thought anything of it. When she had almost fell down the stairs, no one bothered to ask if she was okay. Her husband, didn't he notice when she craved for certain foods, or that she cried for the slightest thing, did he not observe her at all?! While she was lost in thought she heard someone call her name, when she turned around she saw someone looking like Lavanya, before she could react she heard her own voice replying, "Lavanyaji'"

Lavanya wiped her tears thinking what would have happened to Khushi, had she not seen her that day. She thanked god that she had found Khushi. But right now, she really missed her friend Khushi; she wanted Khushi to get better soon so she would finally see her baby girl. Lavanya's heart broke every time she saw Sakshi and knew that she must be restless for her mother.

Arnav remembered the day after he told Khushi to leave. He got up looking for her everywhere. Slowly the memories started coming back; he had told her to leave. He ran to the cupboard and saw nothing of hers. It was as if she wasn't even there. He searched every street and lane for her but couldnt find her, or did she not want to be found, he often thought to himself.

*Arnav told both the Gupta's and the Raizada's what had transpired between Khushi and himself, including the six month contract topic. The Gupta's broke ties with the Raizada's; Payal and Aakash returned from the US when they found out about the situation with Arnav & Khushi. they decided to live separately from Shantivan, so they would not be caught in the middle of the two families' Anjali legally divorced Shyam and decided to move on from him as he was no worth crying over.*

Arnav held Khushi's hand to his heart, " Do you feel that Khushi?! Its beating only for you' please wake up' if not for my sake then for your daughter, our daughter' Sakshi !! " He pleaded to her, hoping she would hear him.
