KR OS- Untitled
Hi there all you guys.
Surprised?
Ya well... me too.
Just something random... hope you'll like it. And since I don't know what to name this OS I'll leave it untitled. Again No reason to choose KR except that I have majority of my readers as KR fans. No offence to anybody else. Feel free to imagine whoever you'll like. There is nothing D3 about it. 😊

"Next?" Kria called out and waited patiently looking at the door. A head popped in and she sighed in relief. "Are we done Mohan?" she inquired expectantly placing her stethoscope on the table.
"One more to go Dr. K."
She smiled at him and nodded. "Alright. Send him in."
"Umm..." Mohan, her very efficient assistant looked a little baffled at the same time trying to hold himself from laughing out loud. "Actually Dr. K, we might have a little problem here."
Placing her elbow on the table she rested her chin in her hand and smiled. She knew what was coming. This would be interesting she thought to herself.
She was a Commisioned officer in the Armed Forces Medical Services since the past three years now and totally loved what she did. It was an accelerating, heart pumping, goosebumbing feeling to serve the Nation with her head held high. But she had her fun parts when she saw officers who absolutely refused to see her. She would never understand these military men. They could fight 10 tanks full of junk at a time but would chicken out when it came to needles and syringes.
"Well?" She crooked her head to the side indicating Mohan that she was listening.
"He says he doesn't need any medical checkup bullshit and is 110% fit. And if you would be kind enough to just write his fitness certificate without him having to enter this 'Gehenna'."
"Gehenna?" She laughed. "Really now? Did he actually use that term for my beautiful little pad here?" She spread her arms presenting her medical room.
Mohan nodded with a big grin on his face which just made Kria laugh harder. "Ok, would you do me the honors and send the big baby in?"
"Sure Dr. K"
"What's his name?"
"Major Singhania."
And look at that... A synonym with a Lion. What Irony!
"Oh ya and Mohan..." She stopped him as he was opening the door. "Tell him I keep toffees with me in case he needs any incentives." She winked.
"Right ma'am." He winked back.
Laughing she watched him leave. After some muffling outside her door she heard a quite knock.
"Common in Major." She saw the door open and a tall, well built officer, most probably in his early thirties, standing just outside. She could see he was a lot more hesitant than she had thought to step in the... what was that word again? Oh yes... The Gehenna!
Plastering a sweet smile on her face, she remained sitting at her desk so as to not freak him out by going any nearer. Men could be worse than kids sometimes. "Please come in and have a seat."
"Thanks" He said entering the room but continued to stand a couple of feet away. She suppressed an urge to roll her eyes. It wasn't like she was going to bite him. What was all the fuss about?
Ok to be honest, he looked pretty damn cute there. All anxious. But hoped he would loosen up a little for her to do her job. She was not writing him any fake medical certificates until she sees how he was doing. That's not how she worked. Discipline was one of the first lessons they all were taught. That would include Major Singhania as well. And he better respect that.
"So?" She asked. "Where are you getting posted?"
"I haven't got my orders yet." He looked around the room as if he expected a terrorist to jump out on him from somewhere. "It depends on this shitty medical test."
"Why do you hate me so much?" she asked with a frown.
He looked taken aback. "I don't hate you!"
"You hate being here, sure implies you hate me. What happened? A bad vaccine day when you were 5?" She tried to lighten his mood. He came closer to her desk his eyes fixed on her but did not make any attempt to sit. "No. And I don't hate you." He repeated.
She laughed. "Thanks. That's a relief. I'm glad you no longer feel I have horns on my head."
"No I don't feel that way. You are beautiful." He commented and it was her turn to be taken aback now.

Crap!
He dint know why he said that. It was like he wasn't thinking at all! What was wrong with him? Reyaansh Singhania never goofed up. It wasn't his style. If he felt something he would pretty much keep that to himself. He was never really an open book. Nope that wasn't him.
But she was beautiful there was no denying that. Especially when she laughed. It had a very different ring to it. He could get used to it, he taught with a frown.
"Umm... Well... Thank you... I guess." She said without meeting his eyes and busied herself with her pen and prescription pad. It amused him at the way he made her feel uncomfortable.
After a few seconds of her scribbling something on the paper she got up. "Alright then... We should get started. This won't take long. I just need your blood sample. Then we'll run through a quick PFT and a stress test... And that's about it. Sounds ok?"
"Sounds horrible!" he muttered and waited for further instructions.
She must have heard him coz she smiled "You'll be fine Major. Nothing to worry." She pointed at the white disgusting looking cot at the corner of the room. "You can make yourself comfortable there."
He would rather make himself comfortable on a bed of burning coal. But he did what he was told.
After almost 45 min, she unplugged the chest electrodes from his body. "You did great!"
"Thanks." He got of the treadmill and put on his shirt. All through their appointment she had been really tolerant with his anxieties and very encouraging. Sometimes he thought she would calm him down like a little baby but it felt good. "You are a great doctor yourself."
She blushed, "Thanks."
He liked the crimson tint on her face and the sparkle in her eyes a lot!... It made her prettier than she already was.
"I'll be sending you your reports by tomorrow." She told him.
"No problem."
She extended her hand out at him. "Nice meeting you Major and good luck."
It was time to go? Already? He wished she had some other testes to be done. Strange an hour ago he would hate to stand in this room and now he hated to leave. He took her tiny delicate hand in his. "Thank you. It was nice meeting you as well."
She smiled nodding her head. He let go off her hand and just stood there watching her. He dint know if he'd ever get to see her again. And just wanted to memorize the way she was. He wanted to ask her so many questions and looking in her eyes it felt like she had many of her questions too. But something held them back. Maybe if they had different lives from what they had now.
"Goodbye doctor."
"Goodbye."
He turned to leave but stopped when he suddenly remembered something. "Was I a good boy doctor?"
She looked puzzled. She nodded in positive.
"My toffee then?"
Eyes wide she stared at him dumb founded. He had heard that? How?
"The doors here aren't sound proof." He explained with a wink.
They both laughed.
"I'll see you sometime?" He asked holding his breath and crossing his fingers that she'd say a yes. Not a date or a proposal. But he just wished he was someone she would like to meet again.
She grinned like she was waiting for him to ask her that. "Yes, absolutely!"
It felt he just touched the moon and back. "See you soon then." He left the room a happy man.
Mohan smiled when he was walking by, "A bad vaccine day turns good today, eh Major?"
Rey laughed, "Your doctor needs a sound proof cabin."
"Would be done before your next visit." Mohan winked at him.
"Make that soon then."
