hi guys...finally my net got fixed...it was not only long wait for you but for me also😭...okay...fine...here is the epilogue of my falling in love with enemy ...

EPILOGUE

Kushi looked up at the clock as it struck one am and rolled her sleepy eyes towards the two men who were making her life a hell and tapped her foot on the floor slowly losing her patience with every passing second. "Arnav!" She called out for her husband who didn't pay any heed to her. Aajit was better; at least he looked at her once hearing her voice before giving his undivided attention again to whatever his father was saying. Arnav didn't even bother to turn.

"Arnav!" She drawled out sleepily but it was again ignored by her husband like always. "And what he told on that day. Priorities may change for her wife but not for husband. It's always wife before the child! But within ten months he had completely forgot that he has a wife." Kushi murmured to herself as she got up from recliner and walked to her husband who was kneeling before the bed.

Kushi bended down a little before screaming near her husband's ear. "ARNAV!" Arnav jerked back instantly uttering his signature words. "What the?!? KUSHI!" Kushi smiled finally earning attention from her husband and her son. "I was calling you for past twenty minutes. Did you hear it or do i have to make an appointment with ear doctor for you?" Kushi asked in an innocent tone and then smirked.

Arnav got up and replied. "i think it's you who need an appointment with eye specialist. Can't you see that i was busy with Aajit? I didn't reply to you because i was teaching our son something!" Arnav told exaggeratedly pointing towards Aajit who was sitting on the bed watching his father keenly and then looked at his mother who began to talk. "For god's sake, Arnav. He is ten month old child who hardly says mamma or papa! How can you expect him to say such a big word?!?"

Arnav replied in an irritated tone. "I told you, kushi. I was teaching him for a week and yesterday he said it correctly. Just give me ten minutes." Arnav kneeled down again and spoke to his son. "Come on, buddy. Say it once. Say...Ha-ppy bir-th-day maa." Kushi yawned cursing Arnav for not letting her sleep. She opened her eyes as realization hit her. Neither Aajit nor Arnav is feeling sleepy.

"Arnav, at what time you both sleep usually?" Kushi asked in uncertain tone feeling little guilty as she had no idea about their sleeping time. Aajit had inherited his father's weirdest sleeping behaviour. For first six months, he didn't even let Kushi to sleep a wink during night. It was very difficult for Kushi considering the fact that she was not used to sleep during day time. As soon as she limited feeding Aajit twice a day, Arnav had taken responsibility for watching their son during night.

"Around 1." Arnav answered uninterestedly and turned to his son. "Buddy, it's your sleeping time. Come on dear, say it once and sleep." Kushi nodded thoughtfully. This explains why aajit is asleep most of the morning. She had never bothered about it since Aajit's morning nap gave her time for doing her official work.

Arnav was too proud of his AR to merge it with Gupta industries. Nor he was ready to take CEO position of Gupta industries. Kushi was fine with it as far as he was the one who makes final call in all decision of Gupta indutries. Officially she is the CEO whereas Arnav was the real CEO. Both firms showed tremendous growth in last six months. Kushi felt bad that after doing so much work in office, Arnav had to take care of Aajit at home.

She watched as Arnav pleaded Aajit and smiled. Aajit grinned at his father showing his entire eight milky teeth before caressing Arnav's face lovingly with his hand. Arnav held Aajit's hand and pecked the tiny palm making his son excited. Kushi always envied this father and son relationship. She was not jealous just because she had never shared this kind of relationship with her father but also because Aajit was more close to Arnav than to her. Isn't son supposed to be more close to their mother?

That's why she badly wants a girl child now. But after ten months of pleading and fighting with Arnav, she had completely lost the hope for it. First she was shocked when her powerful weapon 'please' didn't work for this matter. Then when she came to know about reason behind his stubbornness, she had given up. Arnav almost broke down when he told her that he will not be able to see her going through all these things again.

Arnav's love and concern for her always left her amused. She never thought that she could be the reason behind Arnav's decision for not having another child. Though she had not stopped fighting with him for a girl child, seeing arnav's stubbornness she knew that she is fighting a lost battle. But today she has a plan to win this battle.

Remembering her plan suddenly, she was about to call her husband but stopped seeing her son giggles as Arnav tickled him. Arnav always amazed her as a father. Kushi was always worried about his closeness to pia since it might upset Pia if their child comes. But Arnav handled it so well that now Pia and Aajit had become unseparable.

Daily Pia comes home from school running towards upstairs shouting 'chotey, chotey.' That's how Pia calls her little brother just like mother calls her brother. And Aajit was no less than to her. He has a special smile reserved for Pia and loves being around her. Last week, he held Pia leg tightly and cried asking her to pick him up. He didn't allow anyone to lift him and let Pia free only when she lifted him with help of Arnav. Kushi had no doubt that they are going to become next Anjali-Arnav.

In these months, kushi had grown more close to Prem and Nani which separates their family into two teams with three one of them in one team and Arnav, Anjali, Pia, Aajit in another team. How much they pull others leg, fight with them and make others go crazy, it always love which unites them at the end. Kushi felt so blessed to be part of this family. The only thing which is missing in their family is their girl child on her side. But she was confident she will get her child soon.

Talking about children, she remembered her conversation with Lavanya earlier in the evening. Kushi could never understand why lavanya was so reluctant to marry a guy like NK until lavanya shared her fears about having a relationship with a man both emotionally and physically. Kushi tried to convince saying it was best for Poovi and her. Seven months back, Kushi talked about this to NK.

Month later, lavanya had married NK under one condition that she will not change her sur name but ended up changing it for her visa. Though Kushi was happy that NK had persuaded Lavanya, lavanya's fear always worried Kushi. But today's phone call was surprise where Lavanya revealed that she might be expecting and very thrilled about it.

Kushi felt like weight has been lifted from her heart. She always felt ashamed of what her brother and father did to lavnaya. She knew that if Arnav comes to know about this good news, then he will also feel relieved since deep down in his heart he is still guilty for ditching lavanya. "Arnav!" She called him only to get zero response from her husband who was busy nudging his nose on Aajit's falt stomach and making him giggle loudly.

Aajit was like Kushi when it comes to love. Costly and fancy toys never interested Aajit like people did. All he wanted is people's attention and love. There must be always one person around when he is awake and when whole family is around him, then his happiness has no bounds. He used to cry even when one of their family members leaves the room.

"Arnav, leave it. i am sleepy." Kushi pouted finally gaining arnav's attention. "No, kushi. Last year i promised that our child will wish you first. I will never back off from my promises." He said to her making her shout. "To hell with your promise. If you didn't..." Arnav stopped her with rude 'shut up.' Kushi looked at him with dropped jaw and then smirked knowing how to get it back.

"i cant believe that you are scolding me on my birthday!" She accused him in crying tone and sniffed twice. It worked because next moment Arnav was next to her, trying to soothe her. "No, no, not like that kushi. i didn't mean to be rude. I was just..." Arnav hugged her as she sniffed more and then rested her head on his shoulders enjoying his warmth.

"I want to sleep. Please Arnav." she said knowing very well that he won't say no. "Okay, kushi. i am sorry for not letting you sleep. I just wanted to fulfill your wish. You always wanted to be first wished by the person who loves you most. It's okay. Next year aajit will wish you." Arnav said patting her back when she raised her head to see his face and said "may be he doesn't love me!"

Arnav scolded her in reply. "Dont be stupid, kushi. Aajit loves you very much." Kushi shook her head. "May be there is a person on this earth who loves me more than Aajit does." Arnav looked puzzled as his eyes became unfocused for a second before focusing on kushi face with a surprise glint. Kushi smiled at him sweetly before excitedly saying "wish me, Arnav."

"Are you sure?" his voice was uncertain and tensed. "I was never surer than this, Arnav. I wish that it will be you who will wish me first every year. To fulfil this wish, you have to do two things Arnav. First, you have to love me more than others love me. Second you have to be with me to wish me first. Will you fulfil this wish of mine?" She asked in cute tone.

Arnav smiled thinking how glad he will be to do both things she had asked for. "i would love to fulfil it." he said before pecking her forehead. "Happy birthday, Kushi." Kushi closed her eyes enjoying the warmth of his lips on her skin and then looked up at him. "I. Love. You." Kushi said making Arnav to smile before bending down to meet her lips in mid-way.

Kiss was gentle and tender like night's cold breeze. Tightening his grip around her waist, he lifted her off ground, so that he could explore her mouth more properly. Slowly he turned kiss into more passionate one promsing Kushi for more tonight. Kushi tightened her grip on his hair enjoying his assault on her as her heart beat raised with the thought of what is waiting for her tonight.

"babbieburthbaaa." Arnav and kushi broke their kiss and turned to Aajit who was looking at them with smile. "Oh my god, he said it. i told you know kushi. Yesterday also he said it." Arnav exclaimed kneeling down. Kushi was shocked even to react. "Buddy, you are a genius. You did it. Give me a high-five." Aajit hit his father's palm with his like Arnav had trained him and chuckled.

"i told you know. my son will wish you. see!" Arnav said pointing to Aajit. "Arnav, not even single syllable sounded like 'happy birthday'." Kushi said folding her hands against her chest. Arnav gave her a nasty look. "What the? My son has spoken such a big word for the first time and you are talking about pronouncaition?!? You are such a ..." Arnav said angrily.

"Your father has gone mad. Let's sleep Aajit." Kushi extended her hands towards Aajit but Aajit wound his arm around Arnav's neck and hiding his face saying "paa...paa..." Kushi glared at him and said "such papa's son. Dont forget you have to come to me tomorrow after your paa has left for office."

"Are you threathening my son in front of me?" Arnav asked in disbelief tone. Aajit buried his face more on Arnav's chest like he was afraid of his mother and Arnav soothed him patting his back and saying dearly words. "You know what? Both of you go to the hell." Kushi screeched angrily before walking out of the room.

"Did you see how your grandson acted like i was torturing him in absence of his father? All because of you, mom. I would have never married Arnav if it was not for you, mom." Kushi spoke looking up at the brightest star. Now-a-days whenever she thinks about her mother only good memories comes to her mind. All thanks to Shriya for her counselling and Arnav for his love.

Even when her mother's death comes to her mind, it doesn't disturb her anymore especially after Anjali's confrontation. When she thinks about her mother's death, it reminds her that Arnav was very close to her when she needed him. He actually loved her even then. This thought actually made kushi more content and happy.

Kushi sensed his presence behind her and next moment she felt tiny fingers caressing her cheek. She titled her head to see Aajit looking at her. Aajit removed his hand from his mother's cheek and clapped grinning at her. Kushi leaned her back on Arnav's chest as Aajit glued his cheek with hers. Arnav wound his free hand around her waist holding her steadily. Kushi closed her eyes not sure which one was more pleasant: cool breeze; or birds chirping sound; or the sound made by pool water; or her son's kisses; or her husbands warmth.

"Aajit ask your mom what she wants for her birthday!" Arnav whispered. Kushi opened her eyes as the moment she was waiting came. "What will you give me, Arnav?" Kushi asked expectantly turning towards him. "Anything you want." Arnav answered her with sweet smile on his face. Kushi nodded like she was in deep thought before announcing "i want a daughter!"

Arnav stepped back with displease written all over his face and spoke in serious tone. "Kushi we already talked about this many times. We are not going to have another child." Kushi made a puppy face and moved closer to him. "okay Arnav. let's have a compromise. I want a girl baby but you dont want me to have another child. So..." She stretched playing with Arnav's shirt button.

"What? You want me to have child with someone else?" Arnav shouted in complete disbelief stepping back from her. "What?" Kushi asked in confusion before hitting his chest and then pinched his forearm. "You still have fantasy for new mami and a daugther, dont you? Remove that thought from your head now itself or else i will kill you with my bare hands. i was about to suggest adoption but you..." she pinched him more with all her strength.

"Oh!" Arnav exclaimed understanding what she really meant. "So you are okay with it? Shall we adopt a girl baby for my next birthday?" Kushi asked hopefully but Arnav shook his head. "No, not next year. May be a year after that. Kids must have at least three years gap to share good sibling bonding." Arnav explained making Kushi excited. She hugged Arnav. "We are waiting for you Aditi singh Raizada." Aajit, who felt sleepy, leaned on his parents, who enveloped him in their hug.

Arnav felt so happy and content with kushi and Aajit in his arms. Life has never been this beautiful before. "i never thought that this day would ever come in my life." Arnav said. "Which day? My birthday?" Kushi asked without opening her eyes. Arnav tightened his arms around her. "no, the day where i will fall in love with my enemy's sister and even feel content and happy about it." kushi smiled against his chest.

"May be falling in love with enemy is not such a bad idea or is it?"

My Journey with falling in love with enemy

it was excellent journey for me though I am not sure how the journey was for you people 😉...I really enjoyed writing it...I still remember the day when I was reading for my exam and thought of Kushi accusing Arnav of something and then Arnav accusing Kushi...it started with that one thought...I almost decided 90 percent of story before I went to bed that night...though I changed a lot while typing ...

my favourite most chapter is chap 8. I wanted to write about arhi's one night stand after just before truth of la come out...but I wrote it soon since readers were becoming impatient...when I started writing that chapter I had nothing in my mind but just follow the flow...it worked big time...

pls share your journey with FILWE, your fav scene, scene comes to ur mind when thinking abt FILWE, fav dialogue...I would love to read it...
