Hi! I am a new reader for your ff. I have read one part of your other ff, and I liked your style of writing, and the characters of this story seem interesting. Since I have many parts to read, I will comment on each part in this post.
Part 1
Interesting start. So it's just Shyam, Anjali, and his niece in his family. Anjali as usual trying to hitch Arnav with sensible girl. But like Shyam, I am surprised that she gave up. But I guess she won't have to do much now. No point for guessing that he will finally meet his angel in Lucknow and will very soon stop with his one night stands. I love the rapport Arnav and Aman share. At least Arnav has someone he could talk too. And Sheesh Mahal mystery. Is it the same as in the show? His parents committing suicide?
I have always liked strong Khushi. No matter what she has gone through in her life, she always hopes for the best. I'm guessing her interview is at AR Lucknow branch, and I have a feeling that she will lend a job. Now whether she will get one at Lucknow or Delhi branch that's a mystery. Great start. I'm glad I don't have to wait for the next part.
Part 2
I feel bad for what Khushi has to go through on the home front. But I love it that she is taking it with a positive stride. LOL at Khushi calling Buaji "sound-box." I can totally imagine her fleeing from Buaji! And then Arnav on the other side with his niece. It's cute how she is like her uncle making deals. Why do I have a feeling that her deal is going to be about Arnav bring her a Mami. Little does she know that her Mamu is about to meet her Mami. And then the clash. OH oh. Our heroine, Khushi Kumari Gupta is in action! I am not surprised at all for her coming and standing up for the boy against Arnav. I guess Khushi can say goodbye to the job-- Or may be not, considering that she stood up for Arnav and apologized to him when the boy revealed his intensions. My only question: why did say that Arnav is going to meet his "Possesion." (Maybe a stupid question since the title of this story is "Mine".) Hopefully he won't treat her as an object after the next part. I mean, she did apologize for her behavior. Can't wait to read the next part!
Part 3
With Aman around, it's funny how Arnav had to fish for an excuse just to meet Khushi. I had a feeling that Khushi would have gotten the job, had she not dismissed Arnav by picking up her phone in the middle of the interview and leaving the place. But I feel so bad for her. Why did her family--no her "adopted" mother and Buaji think of her as a possession and agreed for her marriage to some gunda-like person? I'm glad that she has a sister who truly loves her and called her to flee from their. Considering the way you ended, I have a feeling that she's going to go to Sheesh Mahal and then to Delhi. Because that's the only other place where she knows goondas won't search and has an acquaintance inform of Arnav.
Part 4
Honestly, I am confused! I'm guessing the girl Arnav slept with is Khushi. Did they secretly marry in the past year? (Secret because Anjali doesn't know about it). But then why would Arnav hide about his marriage? I mean seeing Arnav married is Anjali's dream! And I'm glad that Anjali is still happy in her marriage. Shyam and her argument at the breakfast table is like typical couple and newly parents. And then a mole in AR. Arnav will sure be ruthless to him. Want to say more, but I'm too confused at the moment so I'm moving to the next part.
Part 5
I am even more confused now! I thought it was Khushi, but who is this Jerry? First, I thought she must be Khushi's friend from college with whom Aman is in a relationship with. But then when they discussed the Gaurav fiasco, I got confused. Arnav only talked to the girl he was with the previous night. So how did Jerry come to know about it through "him." If Jerry was Khushi's friend then Aman would have said "she told you about it." Not "He." But then Jerry and Aman are celebrating their first anniversary and Arnav knows about it. So she can't be the girl who was with Arnav. Also that money bit through me off. grr. I'm confused so off to read another part. Hopefully, it will shed some light in my confused brain.
Part 6
What?? No way. I didn't expect Arnav to be someone who takes advantage of innocent girls. I mean I didn't care before because the girls he slept with earlier were s**ts themselves. But with Khushi is different. I can't believe he would do this! I feel so bad for her. Why do such things have to happen in her life? I simply can't get over the fact that she will be a mistress. She agreed for this preposition because of her family. I wish she talked to Aman instead of Arnav, or maybe asked one of them to get a private taxi for her. And she could have left anywhere. At least she wouldn't have had to sell herself that too almost a lifetime (Almost because it's in Arnav's hand and since he considers her as a possession, without any emotional strings attached from his side, he will keep her forever). Also, no matter what the circumstances are, every girl has a dream about her first kiss, and I'm sure this is not how she envisioned it to be. No one would. What about if she wants to have a family in the future and possibly falls in love? I feel so bad for her. Hopefully Aman will be by her side. This has cleared some confusion, but I still have few questions. If she is the girl Arnav slept with in an earlier part, does that mean that their equation has changed- mainly because Arnav's interaction with her wasn't that of a mistress, but had some sort of emotional attachment. And the Jerry angle is confusing too. Is Khushi the same person as Jerry? But then why was she celebrating her first anniversary with Aman? This is getting really interesting.
Part 7
So Khushi is Jerry. She is still his mistress. Good to know that at least he cares for her. Honestly, when he thinks about Khushi in the middle about pleasuring and being pleasure, it disgusts me. Mainly because he thinks of her as a mistress. I just can't get over that fact. Yes, he kept the end of his bargain and yes he helped her, but I feel he indirectly left her with no choice. I think it will take me some time to get over it. Maybe because I'm reading all this at once. At least she has Aman. Or so I hope from reading one of the earlier parts.
Part 8
Okay. I call it a truce with Arnav. He is keeping her happy and Khushi seems to be enjoying the relationship they share. So no comments on that atm. But I am surprised that Arnav doesn't have any problems with Aman. Considering the Jalebi scenario and Aman and Khushi celebrating their first anniversary made it seem like that they are very close. And I find it odd that Arnav had no problem with it. On top of it he says "your Mathur and his Jerry." Especially because he (Arnav) is the one romantically involved--wait no..physically involved-- with Khushi.
Part 9
Wow. So more light into Khushi's POV. We know for sure she doesn't regret her decision. This past year they obviously has become more comfortable. But I still feel uneasy at the fact that they haven't grown emotionally. Or have they. I have a strong feeling that Khushi has started to fall for him. Otherwise, why would she overlook the fact that he has hurt her and abused her and still respects him for the person he is. I don't even know how Arnav would have abused her. I mean he already cornered her to sign her life to him. But in the present scenario, he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who would abuse her. He genuinely seems to care for Khushi. Plus he silently gave her that anniversary gift to her. Why would he, if he considers her as his mistress?
This story seems to be getting interesting as I read every chapter. Great job! Will comment more as I read on!
