Riya comes to Shree and makes noise whiles clearing her throat. Shree is disturbed and glares at her.
Shree(annoyed): galaa kharab hai? kaho to dabaa doon?
Riya(gives him a sarcastic look): nahi... uski koi zarurat nahi... mai to tumhe ye batane aayi thi ki kal se mai Arjun sir se basket ball seekhne wali hoon... subah 9 se 10:30...
Shree is embarrassed. He almost forgot about this.
Riya: tumne baat ki Rathod sir se?
Shree(sheepishly): nahi... ki to nahi hai... par kar loonga...(trying to send her away) tum jao na... mujhe mera kaam karne do
Riya(sarcastically): I know... bahut important kaam kar rahey ho...(winks)
Chhotu joins them.
Chhotu: Haan Riya! aaj kal Shree kuch zyada hi important kaamo mein busy rehne laga hai... aur aajkal to usey hum dosto ki yaad bhi nahi aati...
Riya: Chhotu... usey ab hum purane dosto ki yaad kyun aayegi ... ab to uski life mein sab kuch naya naya hai na...
Chhotu: naya nahi Riya!!! Nayi... Nayi Nayi Navika...
Shree's eyes are wide open and ready to pop out of his spectacles (a little bit of exaggeration)
Shree (stammering): k...k...k...kya matlab...? w..w..wo bhi to...t...t...tum dono ki t...t...tarah... hi m..m..m..meri f...f...friend hai
Riya and Chhotu are not ready to accept this explanation and look at him with raised eye-brows... Shree is nervous and looking a way to avoid this confrontation.
Shree: Jao na tum dono...
Navika comes there.
Navika: Arrey... Riya, Chhotu... kahan jaa rahe ho tum dono? ab to lunch time hai... chalo lunch kar lete hain... kyun Shree?
Shree: haan!!!! mai bhi wohi keh raha tha in dono se ki lunch kar lete hain... isi liye mai in dono se keh raha tha ki ye dono canteen mein jaayein...
Riya and Chhotu glare at him.
Navika: aur tum Shree?
Shree: wo mai tumhara intezar kar raha tha na...(a sweet romantic tone) socha tum aogi to hum dono saath chalenge...(smiling at Navika)
Navika notices this change in tone and blushes a little... Riya and Chhotu are quick to notice this too
Shree(back to normal): ab tum aa gayi ho to saath mein chaltey hain... hai na riya, Chhotu...
Shree sprints forward and Navika looks at Riya nad Chhotu who are now looking at her with raised eye-brows. She blushes a little and follows Shree to the canteen.
Riya and Chhotu burst into laughter and give each other a hi 5 before going for lunch.

After lunch, while going back to his cabin, Sameer comes to Shree's desk.
Sameer: Shree wo pichhle case ke sare records tumne compile karke rakh diye hai na?
Shree: yes sir... rakh diye hain... bas password hi encrypt kara raha tha... abhi bhejta hoon apko thodi der mein...
Sameer(poking him): good... to? aaj nahi jaana tumhe jaldi?
Shree(embarrased): jaana to hai... par... its ok... kuch kaam ho to bata dijiye...
Sameer(smiles): nahi...kaam to nahi hai par tumhari basket ball ki practice kab shuru karen? kaho to abhi shaam ko chalein club house?
Shree was planning to ask Navika for coffee in the evening.
Shree: sir aaj?
Sameer: haan... i mean hum saturday evening mein practice kar saktey hain... Riya ne bataya mujhe ki wo aur Arjun Sunday morning mein practice karenge...isliye maine socha ki hum saturday shaam ko hi kar lenge... to kyun na aaj se hi shuru kiya jaaye?
Shree was in no mood, but was not possible to say "no" to Sameer. Sameer was persistent. He gave up.
Shree : ok sir chaltey hain...
Sameer: great... abhi 1:30 baj raha hai... 4 baje nikaltey hain... theek hai?
Shree: right sir (smiles thinking that he has some time to think of an excuse to avoid going)
Chhotu looks at Shree and understands what Shree is upto and plans to foils his effort to avoid going.
At 3:50 PM
Sameer: Chalein Shree?
Shree: haan sir... (shows as if he forgot something)ohhh... mai to bhool gaya... mujhe bank jana tha... cheque deposit karwane...
Chhotu: Shree... bank to Saturday ko 2 baje tak hi khuli rehti hai... tu kaunse bank jayega abhi?
Shree(angrily looking at Chhotu)(try to hide his intention): arre haan...
Chhotu: aur waise bhi tu cheque to ATM drop box mein bhi deposit kar sakta hai... 5 mins lagenge... baad mein kar dena... abhi club house chal... mai bhi chalta hoon aap dono ke saath...
Sameer also understood Shree's intentions and smiles controlling his laughter. Both Sameer and Chhotu don't give him another chance to back off.
Shree upset with Chhotu for foiling his efforts. He had no choice but to go. Chhotu and Sameer were virtually dragging him there.
Navika, Riya and Arjun too leave. Riya has got her car today so she drops Navika to her home.
Shree, Chhotu and Sameer reach club house by 4:30 PM, make their entries and Sameer goes into the court with Shree and Shree acts very lazily.
Sameer(sternly): kya kar rahey ho Shree? dhyaan kaha hai tumhara... theek se dekho mai kya kar raha hoon... aur waise karne ki koshish karo...
Shree half heartedly follow his instructions for almost 20 mins. Then they take a small break and Sameer again drags him to the court. Chhotu also joins them to boost up Shree's morale.
They play till 6:00 PM. Then Shree is tired.
Shree (gasping for breath): sir...bas... ab aur nahi... (almost crying face).. aaj ke liye itna kafi hai... please sir...
Sameer(smiles): Theek hai... par please next saturday koi bahana mat banana... jaise aaj bana rahey they...
Shree is embarrassed.
Shree: Sorry sir...
Sameer (smiles): chalo 6 baj gaye hain... mai nikalta hoon... tum log bhi jakar enjoy karo... bye..
Sameer leaves.
Shree(mimicking Sameer): Enjoy karo...(to his natural voice annoyed) itney pair dard kar rahey hain... aur sir bol ke gaye enjoy karo... jaan le li bachche ki... (almost crying) kyun maine us din josh mein aakar sir se kaha ki mere basket ball coach ban jayein... kyun?
Chhotu: arre Shree... dekh na... sir kitna dil se sikha rahey they tujhe... sir kitne passionate hain is game ko lekar... he is the best coach... aur tu aise bol raha hai... Sir ko dekh kitne fit hain...aur agar tujhe gym jaane ki aadat hoti to tujhe itna dard nahi hota...
Shree pouts his face.
Chhotu: abhi chal... ghar chaltey hain... thoda aaram kar ley... waise bhi kal sunday hai... koi case nahi aaya to tu poora din aaram kar sakta hai...
Shree: koi case aaya to bhi mai ghar se hi sari information doonga... (makes angry face)
Shree was already mad at Chhotu but right now it was only Chhotu who would take him home and get dinner for him. So he quietly followed hwt Chhotu said.
They reach Shree's place. They have dinner together and then Chhotu goes home.

Riya went shopping with her sister and she asks Navika to join them. Navika bonds well with Mukherjee sisters on a personal level; Anwesha remind her of her own sister. They have dinner together and Riya drops Navika. Riya and Anwesha come home and sleep.

Riya reaches clubhouse and Arjun too comes. They go inside and start practicing. Riya is tired catching up with Arjun's swiftness in the court, but she doesn't give up.
Arjun is impressed with this "never give up" attitude of Riya. He knew that she is brave and intelligent officer. But while playing the game he notices these other
qualities in her like she is mentally tough, has a stong determination, doesn't easily give up, she is passionate, focussed and perfect listener as she was listening and following his instruction and not just hearing what he said.
Suddenly Arjun sees a familiar face, some old colleague waving at him. He tells Riya to continue practicing while he goes to meet that person.
He goes and talks to that person for 10 mins.
When he comes back, he sees Riya practicing with passion. He keeps looking at her face. This was for the first time he was noticing a girl after Roshni. She was sweating and tired. Her face had become pink but she still continued.
She was completely opposite of Roshni but she had a different charm. Her determination, persistence and confidence added to her beauty. She was fit and had a good figure(men will be men 😉). Arjun was amazed that why he was looking at her like this but didn't have an answer. He couldn't take his eyes off her.
It was almost 10:30 AM now. He forced himself to call her.
Arjun: bas Riya... aaj ke liye itna kaafi hai... next Sunday ko continue kartey hain...
Riya was hoping for some good comment from him but she knew that "Khadoos" Rawte doesn't praise anyone like that.
Riya(gasping for breath): ok sir... Thank you...
Both of them leave.
While leaving.
Arjun: Well played Riya!
Riya(shocked): Thank you sir!
Riya reaches home at around 11:30 where Anwesha has kept lunch ready for her, because she knew Riya would be coming home tired and would be hungry.

The routine continues.
Sameer as Shree's basketball coach on saturday evenings and Arjun as Riya's on sunday mornings.
Anwesha continuing her project work and managing Riya's home and taking her care just like her mother.
Because of basket ball discussions sometimes in office, the ice between Sameer and Arjun too starts melting slowly. At least they are not indulging in hurling direct
insults at each other.
Also, Arjun and Riya seem to be coming closer.

Navika has gained a special place in the team with her valuble contribution investigation of cases. Sameer and Arjun both appreciated her for her great analytical skills.
With that she has also become part of the masti gang in office joining Shree, Riya and Chhotu.

Navika has begun to understand Shree's care towards her. She had noticed his special treatment and Riya and and Chhotu's teasing comments on both of them. She too cares for him and respects him. She admires Shree for his technical skills. But still she is not sure about her feelings.

27th March Holi
Its Holi and our officers are in office. On such festive occassions there are more chances of an emergency, so our ETF has to be prepared for any such situation.
Their Holi is limited to a small teeka of Gulaal to everyone. Surprisingly, Sameer and Arjun too put a teeka to each other. Entire team
is in a shock.
Luckily, there were no major cases reported in the city so the local police took care of them and ETF was not required.
But still the team had to be present in office.
Riya, Shree, Navika and Chhotu are busy with their regular chit chatting.
Arjun and Sameer sitting in their respective cabins as they knew that their presence will restrict the team's fun. After all they always give their best when on duty, so they deserve some relaxed moments when there is no work.

While passing outside Sameer's cabin Arjun looked at him. Sameer seemed to be typing something in his mobile phone, but within a minute he stopped typing, locked the mobile and kept it on the table. Then he tried to distract himself looking here and there but again his attention went to the mobile. He kept staring at it and then later picked up a file to read, but couldn't concentrate on reading.
After 5 mins he picked up the mobile again. This time he didnt type anything but seemed to be scrolling through the screen, may be the contact list. He stopped at one point, kept looking at the screen. His finger went to the screen again, but he backed off again, locked the screen and again kept the phone back.
Arjun was noticing Sameer for a couple of days. When working he was normal. But when there was no work, Sameer was behaving weird. He kept on playing with his cell phone. Exactly what he noticed today again. It was nothing in particular. And all the time Sameer had a confused and tense look on his face.
For a first few days Arjun ignored it but this became Sameer's habit.
Arjun was waiting for the right time to talk to him about that.
While leaving Sameer remembers something and informs Shree that they will not be having basket ball practice on Saturday 30th March.
After a peaceful day, all of them head to their respective homes.

Saturday 30 March
Roshni's death anniversary... Sameer blames Arjun for Roshni's death in the heat of the moment. And it looked like the ice that was melting between them suddenly froze again.
But later both of them realize that the way they behaved with each other was not right. And they resolve to bridge this gap between them for Roshni.
