….and then his freaking car stopped with the jolt, adding another curse to his already muttered curses! "dammit!!" he hissed again slapping the steering! His mother Priya and her oh-so-beloved-friend smriti chuckled seeing his reaction.

"rey! I told you we could walk till the farms!" priya said calmly. Rey glared at her. "rey beta.. its ok.. the farm just nearby, we can walk even now you know.." smriti suggested looking around. even though the farm was bit away, the path that reached the farm had huge park and trees on both sides. It was the treat to watch..! with ever blowing cool breeze and green all over it just looked like heaven on earth, hence whoever visited the farms usually walked this short distance taking in beautiful nature.. but Rey seemed different!

"Rey look around its so beautiful..! why don't you walk anyway ?" priya asked now irritated by his behaivior. he wasn't usually this adamant! But whenever he is forced to do anything he would act really arrogant. And this was one of those situations!

"mom!! Please.. aunty .. see how many obstacles in reaching that farm ? do you really think it would work ?? I don't think she is a match for me! why don't we just go back!?"

"rey behave! The girl you are talking about is her daughter..!" priya commented to which smriti gave a smile.

"rey why don't you think it would work ? just see her once!?" smriti said suggestively.

"GOD! Why don't you both understand.. ? I don't believe in these arrange marriages.. or.. see the signs mom! I gues even god is saying Go Back!" rey said expecting a change in their reaction. To which both ladies chuckled again.

"it can also be implied that God is testing you whether you are perfect match for her or no ?" priya winked! "and moreover we aren't forcing you to marry her.. it will completely with both of your consent!" priya continued. All rey could do was try his best not to strangle his mom or himself! This was crazy!

"fine!" rey said getting out of the car.. "you guys walk.. I'll just try to fix the car and catch you soon.."

Both the ladies nodded and started walking enjoying the greenery. "why worry ? anyway I will see her and reject then and there! simple!" rey smiled and looked down at the car. The freaking car had to hang itself! Couldn't it just hold for a moment until they reached the farms ? damn car! Damn world! Damn everyone!! Rey gave a kick to the car and winced immediately due to the pain. "f**king car!" he hissed and started walking.

Hands in his pockets, goggles covering the eyes, scarf wrapping around his neck, he walked like a greek god! Nevertheless his mom's words were true. The place was really beautiful.

As rey reached the gates his phone started ringing. "hey swayam!" rey said exhausted. Hearing his voice so sullen swayam himself forget for what he had called him. "rey! are you alright ? kya hua ?" swayam asked.

"sway!!! Hona kya hai.. ladki dekne jaa rahu hoon.. GOSH! When the hell will I get out of this place ?" rey asked him like a kid cribbing. "oh.. so you reached the farms ?" swayam asked. Rey looked at the huge gates and then the view of countless rows of strawberry plants. And said "I guess yes.." pushing the gates open. "hey don't worry.. mein hoona ? tu chill marr and see the girl.."

"by the way whats up with you ?" rey asked.

"umm.. shar… kicked me out again!" swayam said now embarrassed. Rey could hold himself from bursting into fits of laughter. This was so his 'swaron'. Epitome of love & hatred!

"sala.. kaha tha meine.. love and first sight is a BULLSHIT! Don't date her.. kaha tha meine.. love-shuv kuch nahi hota.. chicks are meant to have fun dude..! and-" before rey could continue with his lecture swayam interrupted "tum era insult kar raha hai ya console!? And don't you forget tu b bahut fun karnewala hai! let me see once you get married.. waise b tu to ladki dekne ja rahe hena ? gaya tu! Dekle!!" and swayam split into devilish laughter making rey turn red in anger. Rey instantly cut the call and was about to throw the phone-

"no phones allowed inside the farms!" an angelic voice interrupted. Rey turned around to see the intruder.

… and he almost got a heart-attack seeing her! how the hell did she come here ? why is she here ? a jumble of questions raced through his brains.

"any problem Mr. Singhania ?" she asked with a sweet smile and battling eye-lashes! Damn those eyes and those rosy lips which once made his heart slip.

Infront of him was standing kria Ghai the famous 'buisnesswoman' of the year! the girl with modern and traditional values. The girl who had once ruled is heart. The girl whom he once thought a perfect one-night stand! But the next morning he realized she wasn't just a one-night stand. Ever since he had been searching for her, and when found he realized she wasn't the same struggling employee but a business tycoon that whole California was fond off. And rey dejectedly stepped back from her life once and for all! Seeing her here that too in those baggy 3/4^th jeans and muddy top whose hem was tied on a knot just above her navel, giving the spectacular view of her slender and delicate and juicy waste. He still couldn't forget that taste that her body had given him. she was special.

"Mr SINGHANIA ???" kria shook him. bringin rey back to the world. Immediately his mind came back to present and the first thought came to his mind was 'ask sorry!'

"kria.. I am.." before rey could continue she interrupted "so you are here to see me ??? " she asked not-so-surprisingly and laughed. Her laughter was so pleasant that rey forget himself again.

"but I am rejecting you!" kria said narrowing her eyes. and walked off. Rey stood there dumbfounded. Well what had happened ?? and then the things fell in right places.

4 years before she had come into rey's life as an assistant. Even though rey was a Casanova, he never felt like she was one of those girls whom he would just flirt and forget. She was someone to be remembered! And then they became friends. Kria's caring nature, those countless flirting sessions, even then no love bw boss and employee was their mutual condition to which both were happily bound. Kria would even manage his dates with his fluctuating girl-friends. She would even suggest him how to trap the girls he liked. It was so fun being with her. he could share anything and everything with her. never bother what she think because they had grown that close.

Unless and until that night came! When they received the best business partners award! Rey was drunk and even kria. yet kria managed to take him to his apartment. But the typical rain, thunder and no power at house had built a romantic candle light night for them. They tried their best not to flirt. But once they started, it reached to another level and they ended up having sex. Somewhere rey felt it was right to thing that had happened between them and may be, may be he could give them a chance ? may be she was the one ? It was early dawn, when rey pondered over his thoughts! He was shocked that he thought like that. But then again he could help but smile seeing her in his arms. he shook his head brushing the thoughts off his head and kept chanting 'kria is his friend. Kria is his friend.' Unknowing to him kria had woken and heard him say 'this is just one-night-stand nothing more..'

Even though kria didn't expect anything much, but she knew she had fallen for his charm when he had first interviewed her. with the strong heart she kept loving him. she did what he liked. She loved him but never expected anything in return. Her love was meant only for herself. But when they had shared themselves in each other she had hoped may be he too feels the same ? but hearing his words her heart broke in millions of pieces and she left the place then and there! resigned for the job and never returned to his life again.

But it was much later when rey actually realized he had started liking her. but she wasn't there in life after that.. and he had changed his thoughts about love completely!

Walking aimlessly over the farms he chuckled remembering his word "no way I am going to marry that strawberry farm girl! " and then he knew exactly why he was so angry over himself for last 3 years. he knew why his life felt empty. Why he always searched something and he knew his search was over.

When he finally reached the house he saw his mom, smriti aunty along with few of their friends and husbands sitting leisurely and drinking coffee. rey's eyes landed on the beauty that was walking down the stairs wearing white saree that struck to her curves perfectly. Her hair flowing lazily on her shoulders and then their eyes met, her eyes only showed hatred towards him. but what rey had always believed was there is no love without hatred! She hates him, which means she had loved him. and if she did love him, she will fall in love with him again!

"mom.. muje yeh jhalli pasand hai.." rey said with a smirk. The whole room fell silent. Obviously everyone had lost hopes whether he would even look at kria once, but his words were like bombs that fell straight into their heads..!

"rey ? are.. are you sure ?" priya asked walking up to him.. rey chuckled "what mom! Ab tak bata rahi thi that I would accept her the moment I see her.. and when I accept you are shocked ? not fair ma!" rey said hugging priya and looking kria. rey's dad Vijay came upto him touching his forehead "tum teek hona ??" he asked. Rey chuckled "what wrong with you all ?" he asked.

"kuch nahi beta.. just that swayam had called saying that we should not keep any hopes" vijay said.

Rey just wanted to kill his best buddy right at the moment! Only if he knew that kria was the same girl rey was mad off!

"mom dad! Aaap b kiski baatom mein agaye ? swayam ? you know wo humesha mere upar pranks kelta rehtha hai!!!"

"but mom muje rey.." kria interrupted. But rey knew her too well so he moved towards her and side hugged her… "tumein Rey pasand hena.." he said looking into her eyes. and slowly making cirles around her waist.. she shook her head in negation unable to speak a word.

"see ? she too says yes!" rey said looking at everyone..

Kria opened her mouth to protest but rey pinched her waist and she winced "AAHH!"

"kya hua kria ?" everyone asked worriedly.. "array… dint get it ? she said 'yes!'" rey snuggled close to her.. kria looked at him and glared.. while everyone chuckled. They were happy.. and they didn't bother to listen to the couples anymore.. "array meri baat.."kria started off again but soon she realized rey's hand had slid inside her blouse and was trying to untangle her bra.. kria gasped and kicked his leg.. "ouch!!!" it now rey's turn to wince.. everyone looked at him. "ab tumein kya hua ?" priya asked.. "kuch .. kuch be toh nahi.. umm.. mom can I take her with me ??"

"sure.."

"no way!"

Smriti and kria said together. Rey chuckled.. "mom.. see na.. sharma rahi hai mere saath aane ke liye.. right kria ??" rey winked at her again. God how she wanted to pluck those eyes off his sockets!

"common kria.. don't be a spoil sport.. go and have fun.." smriti said.. before kria could interject rey pulled her out of the house..

"what the f**k was that ?" kria asked once out of the house.. rey looked at her.. "what was what would be Mrs Sighania" rey asked sweetly.. kria caught his neck ready to strangle him.

"woaaah.. hold there.. muje maar dogi kria.." rey asked looking at her eyes and slowly his hands moved towards her waist again! She was so irrestible..!

Realizing what his hands was doing kria glared at him.. "no rey..rey no!" kria hissed.. and rey knew too well... before he could do his further ministrations kria pushed him and started running..

"I don't understand why am I here that too with YOU!" kria barked again.. her face was now tired of pouting all the way.

"sharon is your friend too kria.. and its your duty to wish her on her wedding anniversary.." kria gave a tough look at him and walked off.. may be she could kill him late with anything that she finds!

And so the party had started. After whatever had happened with her and rey she had broke all her contacts with her friends and aquintances. She was far from his reach and she made there wasn't any loop hole through which he could reach her! only if she could stop her mom!

Just as sharon and swayam cut the cake, swayam nodded at rey and light went off..

The spotlight fell on rey.. and second spotlight on kria surprising her..

"umm.. hi.. kri.. umm no… baatcutter.. " he smiled at her.. baatcutter.. the mere name sent chills down her spine..

"first off all.. I wanted to ask SORRY with you.. not for what happened that night.. but for what you heard.. kria.. you know me.. most of the time I live in denial.. and that's what exactly happened that night.. muje laga that one night would spoil our friendship.. muje laga if you knew I broke our first rule of friendship by falling in love with you, you may leave me and go.. but once you were gone I realized what I missed.. kria I didn't believe back then, but once you were gone I realized our friendship is special but that friendship was long gone and was replaced with 'love'. I didn't realize it kria.. kria when I saw you again today.. bas I don't want to lose this opportunity.. once I lost you.. I don't want to lose you again.. it may sound silly.. but I am mad about you kria.. these 3 years I have lived my life searching you in every point of life.. and today i don't want to do the same mistake again.. my ego stopped me from confessing back then.. now I don't f**king care about anything.. I just want you in my life.. or I can say that.. you are my life kria.. please muje chodke mat jao.. I am sorry kria.. please wapas ajao.."

Rey fell on his kness with batting breath he waited for her answer. She moved towards him and slapped him right on his cheeks. So hard that rey fell on the ground.. kria pulled him up by his collar "you asshole! Couldn't you just say that 3 years before ??? haan ?? itna b kya ego ?? couldn't you just stop me once ? and rule tumne nahi meine break kia tha tumse b pehle.. coz I fell in love with you the moment I saw you.. I was scared if you found out that then you would add me to the list of your stupid GFs.. isliye I made that rule.. tum.. tum bata nahi sakte the ? 3 saal waste kia tumne ?? itna gussa araha hai ki.. " kria said exasperated and left his collar controlling herself! Rey stood there dumb struck!

Kria looked him again anger over powering her face.. rey held his right cheek were she had just slapped. Thinking she would slap again he caught his left cheek to.. kria's anger kept raising with his idiotic acts.. "STUPID IDIOT!!!! Dekh kya rahe ho ?? cant you hug me atleast ?" kria asked like 5 year old kid.. rey looked at her as if she had grown two heads. If swayam hadn't pushed he would stay there staring at her and trying to think whether its happening for real or no..

Rey fell on her, before they both fell on the ground he balanced himself and caught her in arms. without wasting a sec his lips captured her lips..
