Chapter 3
Swayam like a gentleman opened the passenger door for Sharon to sit in' he rushed to his seat and they drove off from Sharon's place' Both had a wide smile playing on their faces' These days were the ones they had always dreamt about' And today they were living each and every moment with each other' Together' They were silent for a while as they were lost in their thoughts'
Swayam: Shar'
Sharon: Hmm'
Swayam: Kya hua? Why are you so lost?
Sharon (smiling): Nahi' Kuch nai!
He somehow knew that she was thinking about yesterday' After all it was their Engagement'
Swayam: Waise Shar, woh kal Engagement se pehle panditji kyun aaye the?
Sharon (to herself): Kya hoga iss ladke ka? Pagal! (to himself) Mr.Mangetar, panditji humari shaadi ki date fix karvane aaye the (a slight ting of red rose on her cheeks)
Swayam (excitedly): Ohhh wooo!!! Kamal hai shaadi ki date fix bhi ho gayi aur kisne mujhe bataya hi nai!
Sharon: Excuse me! Kal tumse hi puchke toh date fix ki thi!
Swayam: What rubbish!! I don't remember that!!!
Sharon (shocked): What!!! Swayam tum wahin khade the!!! Aur jab Maa aur Mom ne tumse pucha toh tumne haan bhi kahan tha!
Swayam was hell confused, why couldn't he remember that! He thought harder and realised that when the pandit and the rest were asking him if he was ok with the dates he was lost in Sharon and just nodded positively'
Sharon: Yaad aaya?
Swayam: Haan' woh' woh' main' main' woh'
Sharon: Kya bakri ki tarah main main kar rahe ho?!
Swayam: Woh sab chodo aur yeh batao kab ki date fix hui hai?
Sharon: Exactly 7 month's ke baad'
Swayam (shocked): WHAT!!! (Suddenly stopped the car)
Sharon: Swayam!!! Kya kar rahe ho? Aur car kyun rok di?
Swayam (almost screaming): 7 MONTHS!!! Are you kidding me?! Itna late!!!! Kyun???
Sharon (surprised): Aare, par tumne hi toh haan kahan tha! Panditji ne teen dates nikale the 3 months ke baad, 7 months ke baad aur 1 year ke baad' Aur tumne 2nd date select ki' pehle main bhi shocked thi par baad main laga ke its better' (she was cut by Swayam)
Swayam: Better my foot! Main tumhe dekhne main khoya tha but you could have selected the nearest date na?! (crossing hands over his chest and sat there with a pout)
Sharon (blushing and chuckling): Oh baby! Its ok! Sirf 7 months ki hi toh baat hai' Aur main toh humesha tumhare saath hi hoon na' (whispering huskily in his ear) And inn months main we can have fun sneaking out and spending time together'
He now had a naughty glint in his eyes and looked at Sharon who was so close to him' He leaned forward to claim her lips' She could feel his hot breath on her face' her fragrance was driving him crazy' She closed her eyes in anticipation' He was slowly decreasing the gap between their lips and' and' and'. *pppeeeppp*
They both came out of their trance' She moved back chuckling and he so wanted to beat up that person who was honking away to glory' he rolled down his window and turned back to see a few more cars honking' he had stopped his car in the middle of a narrow road and now created a traffic jam' without wasting a single minute he rolled up his window and started the engine before someone came and punched him on his face' She had a gala time looking at his change in actions' soon they were on their way to the academy' he was yet a bit upset with the fact that he had to wait for 7 freaking months' Sharon saw that and soon rested her head on his shoulder'
Sharon: Baby, its ok! It's just the matter of a few months' I know it seems far but believe me, this will be the most memorable time of our life' And above all, we are together so nohingt else should matter'
Swayam loved her cuteness and also agreed to the fact that this indeed will be the most memorable time for them' he kissed her hair
Swayam: I love you, Shar'
Sharon: I love you too baby' (moving her head up) by the way you have your presentation on your 1st individual project na today!
Swayam: Yes jaan, and I'm pretty confident that I'll do it (winks at her)
Soon they reach the academy' Sharon pecks him on his cheek'
Sharon: Best of luck for you presentation!
Swayam: Thank you jaan!
Sharon: Bye baby, I'll see you for lunch'
Swayam: Bye, love you!
He waits there till she enters the academy and the then leaves for work' It was like their everyday routine from the past 1 year' he would pick Sharon up from her house and majority of times have breakfast with his in-laws' drop Sharon to the academy and then leave for work' He would then directly meet her late in the afternoon for lunch' They would always avoid calling or messaging each other during his office hours as Sharon wanted him to give his 100% at work' in a way she was trying hard to build up the gap between the father and son' At lunch time she would either get packed lunch from home or they would drive back to the Rai Prakash/ Shekhawat mansion or end up having something in the restraunt'
Well talking about the Academy' It was one of its kinds in Mumbai' A 3 storey building' On the ground level was the reception, Sharon's and Taani's individual cabins, a conference room, waiting area and a small cafeteria' on the 1st and the second level were 3 dance floors each (rehearsal halls)'. And on the 3rd level was a huge party hall [don't mind, this is my dream dance studio, couldn't think of anything else]' The D3 gang was amongst the top-most dance groups in the whole of India' they had worked really very hard to achieve these heights' They had started from a dance in a Punjabi sangeet and today they are called for award functions and the big shows' but though they had reached those heights they even performed in small event that didn't fetch them much but they hadn't forgotten where they came from' they never neglected any offers unless they were preoccupied' Today they were proud that they owned the academy and people would pay any price to take dance lesson from them'
Sharon and Taani were the only ones at the Academy as it was just 9:30am' Taani was busy with some work in her cabin'
Sharon: Hey Taani, Good morning!
Taani: Good morning, bhab... sorry Sharon!
Sharon was used to Taani calling her 'bhabhi' now and in fact she didn't mind it' After all she was soon to be Mrs.Shekhawat' At first she would find it weird and blush but now it was a daily thing' Sharon had told her not to address her as 'bhabhi' at work'
Sharon: So' Koi event?
Taani: Nahi' Filhaal toh nai! But'
Sharon: But?
Taani: Nahi abhi nai! Confirm ho jaye fir bataungi!
Sharon agreed and both continued working' Neha, Nil, Aashi, Simmi and Rinni had come now' They all were busy deciding on the choreography's to be taught in their individual classes' Soon the clocked struck 2 and all moved to the cafeteria for lunch'
Simmi: Sharon let's go!
Sharon: No guys, you'll continue' I have to yet finish some work'
Aashi: Par kaam toh baad main types bhi ho sakta hai!
Sharon (was trying to think of a reason): Guys tum log jao na, I'll eat later!
Taani enters' Aare guys chalo! Lunch nai karna hai kya?
Sharon looks at Taani and gestures to save her from their friends'
Rinni: Aare hum Sharon ko wohi bol rahe the! Par woh hai ke aa hi nai rahi hai'
Taani: Aare haan Sharon, aapne woh reports check kar li jo maine aapko di thi?
Sharon (confused): Kaunsi reports?
Taani: Aare woh previous event reports' woh jo aaj hi finalise karni hai
Sharon gets the que' Aare haan! Wohi toh kaam khatam karna tha!
Taani: Guys, chalo Sharon ko woh kaam khatam karne do' woh bahut important hai!
Everyone agrees and leaves' Taani stays back to have a word with Sharon'
Sharon: Thank you Taani! Tumne bacha liya'
Taani: No problem, bhabhi! Par bhai kahan hai?
Sharon: Woh thoda late aayenge'
Taani (teasing): uummm hmmm aayenge'.
Sharon (blushing): Taani! Jao tum abhi!
Taani leaves and Sharon continues with her work' Just as the gang was walking up to the cafeteria there enters Swayam, Vicky and Rey'
Reyam & Vicky: Hey guys!
All: Hey!
Simi: Lunch ke liye chalo!
Swayam: Aare haan par Sharon kahan hai?
Rini: Woh toh kuch kaam kar rahi hai!
Swayam: Accha ok, main usko leke aata hoon'
He enters the hall where Sharon was sitting and working on her laptop'
Swayam: God! Kitna kaam karoge?
Sharon jerked up due to the sudden voice' but soon she had a smile put on' She kept the laptop aside and got up to hug him'
Sharon: Kaam toh bahana tha' I was waiting for you!
Swayam: Oh! Sorry princess, for keep you waiting!
Sharon: Oh shut up and let's go!
They broke apart and walked down hand-in-hand' they went up to where the gang was sitting'
Simmi (teasing): Oh, toh abhi pata chala ke Sharon ko suddenly important kaam kyun aa gaya tha!
Neha: Haan Sharon, agar Swayam ke saath lunch karna that oh humko pehle hi bol deti!
All (tease): hmmm
Sharon was trying hard not to blush but couldn't stop the red colour to appear on her face' And here he was just staring at her with a grin on his face' he loved the sight of Sharon blushing' Soon they both joined the gang and started having their lunch' Suddenly Sharon's phone started ringing so she picked it up'
Sharon: Hello!
Person: __________
Sharon: Yes Sharon here!
Person: _________
Sharon (shocked): What?!
Person:_________
Sharon: Ok, we'll be there as soon as possible!
