La is quite the selfish horrible friend, and given that she threw herself at Arnav and he turned her down a long time ago, I'm surprised she hasn't picked up on that. It didn't seem like La liked Arnav as much as she liked the idea of a good-looking rich boyfriend to have. Really not a smart idea to leave your friend in the middle of no where.
