I can understand Arnav's frustration and anger. All his life, he's been the decision maker and protector for Anjali and now suddenly that right has been taken away from him. Actually, very mother-like cos thats what he has been to her - a mother and father rolled into one.

Much like a mother resents a daughter-in-law cos now the son's focus shifts, similarly for Arnav the knowledge, that now there is someone else to whom Anjali turns as her first port of call, must be devastating. It must hurt!

There is something that I have felt all through the show and it resurfaced here when you talked about Aman and Arnav talking about the woman who was the centre of their universe. Anjali is very lucky, but Khushi?

It must be difficult to be married to a man whose centre of universe is not you but his sister. Yes, you hold a special space in his life but you know that if it ever came to that choice, it would always be his sister over you. I'd hate to be there and Khushi is. Though I suspect she is still coming to grips with their relationship to even think about it.

And while it all sounds very nice and politically correct to say she is his sister, they've been through a lot and those are different kinds of love, but I know that somewhere, in some corner of my heart, I'd like to be my husband's first priority! I will not resent his strong bond with his sister, but I'd still like to come before everyone else as he would with me. Does that sound weird?

Loved the part - strong emotions captured wonderfully!

And dont worry about focus shifting. This was the show's downfall. There has to be more to a story than just ARnav and Khushi.
