Arnav was up early as usual and was browsing through his emails as he came across a specific one and mumbled a 'damnit'. How could he forget that Lavanya was coming today along with NK. But La knew him and he smiled as he read the part

"See ASR I know you! You forgot na that I am coming today?

But don't forget to pick us up.

See you guys soonish…

P.S: I am so excited that finally I am getting married… to the love of my life…yay much!!"

The last line made Arnav's thoughts wander to the love of his life, Khushi. When will they get married? He was so eager to be with her, hold her, kiss her, love her without any restrictions. He wanted her to belong to him, him only.

Soon.

He thought to himself as he got up and went for his daily training. Today was one of the biggest days for AR Corp because this annual fashion meet was the most looked forward event of the year for both local and international parties.

It had to be the best.

It was 4:45am.

As he bathed he mentally planned his day's activities.

Arnav wanted to go and pick up Lavanya and NK himself despite all the commitment that he had. Moreover, he wanted to take Khushi with him because he knew how excited she was to meet Lavanya. He decided to call her and inform her that they would be going to pick up La and NK after the function as they have a late night flight and would reach India by 11:00pm.

He picked up his phone and dialed her number without even realizing the time, it was still just 5:05am. He didn't realize that Khushi might have been sleeping. Khushi picked up after the fifth ring and replied in an irritated voice.

"Hello."

"Morning sweetheart." The voice she heard made her wide awake as she opened her eyes to make sure it was Arnav who had called her. She hadn't seen earlier who the caller was.

"Arnavji aap?" she replied really shocked.

"Yeah. I missed you that's why I called," He flirted.

"Kya????" her eyes were threatening to come out of the socket when he chuckled.

"Actually baby Lavanya and NK are coming today and I will be going to pick them up after the event. I thought you would want to be the first to meet La and his to be husband. So wanna join me?"

"Haan…kyun nahi.." she said all excited.

He smiled "See you.."

"Ji"

As he cut the phone Khushi now realized that she had completely forgotten that she had to stay away from him. Well her mind functions when she is awake but he called when she was sleeping. But now what? She has already agreed to accompany him to the airport which is a mere 35 minutes drive from AR!

That meant being alone with Arnav for 35 minutes!

Now Khushi was in a fix…

She quickly slept again praying to devi maiyya hoping that all this was a dream only…

As Khushi woke up at 6:30am her head started spinning thinking what she would do now?

Now she had to wait longer to reveal about the marriage! She couldn't let him be angry and frustrated during his cousin's and best friend's engagement…

She got dressed and moved to the living room when she heard Garima giggling and saying "The best date for Payal's engagement is next week Sunday."

"And what about titaliya?" she heard Buaji ask.

"Her to be husband is really busy with an important deal for a few weeks and his sister has requested if we could have the engagement and marriage the same day for Khushi bitiya…"

"But the kundli?"

"Panditji said that they are a perfect match and it is possible…" Garima replied happily.

"But we have to tell Sanka Devi. If she doesn't agree?"

Khushi was overwhelmed that they care so much but she was not really interested in anything anymore. This was more like a responsibility for her, she had to fulfill for the sake of her parents so she put on a fake smile and walked forward..

"Areh! Hume kya takleef hogi? Aap jaisa theek samjhe…" Khushi couldn't help but notice the glee in their eyes and she became happy to see her loved ones happy because of her.

Khushi walked into AR and as she entered her cabin, a box of fresh jalebi's greeted her. A lone tear escaped her eyes as she knew who kept them for her. She wanted to return them to him but when she read the note she couldn't.

"This is just a payback sweetheart. You kept things organized for me yesterday so I did for you today. So don't even think of saying you can't accept it. By the way you cook extremely delicious food."

He knew her so well…

She wanted to cook for him lifelong but she just couldn't think of him anymore. This was inappropriate!

But she kept the jalebi thinking he was right, this was just a payback for what she had done. She relly didn't feel like eating after hearing that her marriage date was being fixed now but somehow managed to eat a few and kept the rest in her bag.

The day passed much without notice as everyone was really busy in making things perfect for the event. Khushi had not seen Arnav even once throughout the day and later found that he was scheduled for five back-to-back meetings and would not be in AR till 6:00pm.

It was a long and tired day. Khushi didn't realize until shaayna asked her "Khushi why are you looking at the clock every minute or two? Are you waiting for something?"

That made Khushi realize that she was waiting for Arnav subconsciously.

On the other hand Arnav was really restless to see Khushi. It was really amazing how this simple girl had conquered his mind in no time. He couldn't stop thinking about her. The small conversations that they had, her blushing, smiling, getting angry, caring for him, cooking for him…

UFFF!

The things were countless and Arnav just couldn't help but fall for her, every moment!

As he looked up he saw Khushi sitting on the chair giving him a wonderful smile, as he smiled back she gave him a flying kiss, he blinked and she was gone. Now what? He was day-dreaming about her as well?

Keep it up, Raizada he mentally scolded himself.

As he got back to work he received a text. The name that flashed brightened his mood instantly as he opened to read the text…

"The medicines are in your bag. It's already time to eat them. You will find a fruit salad in a container in your bag as well, take a 15 minutes break and eat the salad and have your medicines. Please Arnavji."

"Everyone! 15 minutes break!"

Every person in the room turned to look at Arnav, not being able to believe that he was giving them a break, Arnav had never compromised with such important meetings and today he was having mercy on his employees?

Everyone thanked the god as they sped out for lunch and Arnav opened the bag to find a lovely fruit salad and his medicines with a small bottle of mineral water.

He smiled as re-read Khushi's text, "pagal" was all he managed to say. The first part of the text was so commanding, she is already acting like a wife, he thought. But the last part was with so much concern that she was pleading him like a mother would plead her child to eat.

This thought made Arnav really emotional. For the first time in his life someone was actually giving him the love his mother would have given. Dii was always loving and caring and Arnav loved Anjali more than anything but what Khushi was doing for him was actually leaving him speechless and overwhelmed with soft feelings, he had never felt in years.

How eager he was to marry her and mark her as his forever and ever!

Khushi on the other hand was unsure if she was doing things right. Her mind was telling her that this was wrong and her heart was telling her that there was nothing more right than this! Nothing more pure than this!

She didn't want to text him but she knew him too well, she knew he wouldn't eat and forget about his medicines as well. She couldn't control herself from caring about him.

She didn't want to marry anyone else than him but she had already asked him what he felt for her and he didn't give her an answer which she could have taken as a base for breaking the alliance. His "liking" was not a strong enough feeling to make her go against her parents' decision.

Arnav sat after eating as he opened his laptop to browse through his most exquisite collection of traditional were which was not for public view and definitely not for sale. It contained his most elegant designs which he had made for his "someone special"!

He had only used one saree out of that collection which he had gifted to Dii and Anjali had loved it more than anything.

Today he browsed through them to choose one for his "Special person" Khushi Kumari Gupta… he wanted his girl to look breath-taking today because he wanted to propose her tonight! Right after they would drop La and Nk at Shantivan.

He had already planned everything and Aman had already organized things.

At last Arnav found what he thought would look perfect on her. A red saree!

Perfect!

Arnav happily called Aman to inform him to deliver his chosen saree to Khushi and instruct her to wear it tonight.

Aman entered Khushi's cabin with the saree.

"Hey Khushi"

She looked up and smiled "Namaste"

"Look you have to wear this for tonight…." He said placing the saree on the table.

"I…I cant take this!" she paused for a while "Its too expensive…"

Aman was always good at handling such stuff.

"Don't worry sweetheart. The company is giving bonus to everyone. So that everyone looks presentable tonight since its for AR's reputation. No one is allowed to wear anything which would look ordinary and drive away our investors."

Khushi seemed to lighten up instantly!

"Sach? Then I will wear this for sure!"

Aman smiled as he thought, now you owe me two Arnav. How about a boys night out to start with, he mentally planned on having ASR pay him back for making his Khushi smile throughout the day.

But Aman couldn't help but notice that the Khushi whom he considered like his own sister, who used make everyone lively and happy was staying so lost and sad lately.

He had to find out the reason behind her sorrow, soon!
