hi hi hi... sorry about taking this long for giving an update!!! the life outside my arshi world makes it difficult for me!!! do bear with me till end of july!!! anyways over to the update!!!

part 8: princess comes home!!

anjali walked out with a huge thaali in her hand followed by the entire raizada clan!!

arnav got down as khushi was helped out slowly with nk...

anjali: chotey... give princess to khushi na...i have to do the aarti

arnav: she's sleeping fine di... you can do it with her on my hand...



khushi along with the raizadas gasped in shock at arnav's reply

anjali: but you don like all this na chotey??

arnav: yeah... but khushi is weak still and princess might wake up when we change hands.. sooo

the raizadas continued staring at arnav

arnav looked at khushi: what!! cant i hold her khushi??

khushi rolled her eyes and with a wide smile: of course!! di let him only hold her...

nanai smiled looking at at her chotey remembering the past

4 yr old arnav and 8 yr old anjali got down from their car happily in their nani's house for vacation

akash came running to his brother who was holding on to his fav doll in his hand...

little akash went on his toes trying to grab the doll from his brother

arnav's mom: chotey... give it to akash na...

little arnav: nooo... its my doll.. i wont give anyone...

akash started crying and stopped only when anjali gave him her doll... all looked at arnav who was holding his doll tight and consoling his little brother from a distance still wondering if he would take his doll!!

nani wiped the tears that made way as anjali did the aarti for the new parents along with the raizada's princess

khushi enteerd the house to be suprised to see the entire raizada mansion decorated and flooded with lights and flowers !!



curtains were draped in an elegant fashion with lights causing the stones on them shining bright... the dim light feel added to the beauty of the house...

khushi gasped and let out shocked expressions... nk was busy shooting every little expression made by khushi...

khushi finally let out a huge cry : wow!! how beautiful... it was in the typical KKG style that tthe princess shot ehr eyes open looking into her dad who was busy admiring her mom...

she wriggled in his hold and let out a cry to grab the attention and the next minute all surrounded arnav giving out voices to calm down the baby...

khushi slid her hand beneath arnav holding the baby

khushi: ahh... my baby... seee... our house looks so beautiful... .. seee

the baby let out sqeals as if responding and arnav adored the two in front of him as khushi bent down kissing the baby's tummy as arnav held it making it squeal... arnav flashed an adorable smile with his eyes turning moist!!!

the entire raizadas watched as the new parents were lost in their world of joy ...

khushi turned to nk and akash: beta tell thanks to your chachu's.. see how much they did for you!!

arnav frowned like a baby: khushiii... i did it tooo...

anjali and payal chuckled as manorama mami placed a hand on nani's shoulder assuring her of the happiness !!

akash: khushiji.. bhai was totally occupied with all this.. in fact we just helped him

nk nodded

khushi held her ears cutely: sorry papa!!

arnav smiled at the kid in front of him and huskily whispered: shall we go to our room??

khushi blushed as nk already ran up to be ready to capture her feels for the biggest suprise...

khushi was about to move when arnav: wait!!

he gave the baby to anjali and took out a blind fold and tied it around khushi's eyes

he then held out his hand and led an excited khushi who was shooting million questions to their room!!!

at the entrance anjali placed the baby in khushi's hand and arnav slowly opened the blind fold with the raiziadas screaming: surprise!!!!!!


khushi gasped in shock looking at the new style of her room... her room had become mor elarger good enough for run and play and was painted in her fav color pink... the corner of the room was with a baby theme with the finest cradle ever and was flooded with toys around...



even a pram for the baby was ready...

she looked at arnav: arnavjiii... this is our room...

arnav smiled at her: why don you go in and check it out!!

nk smiled with tears in his eyes seeing his best friend and bhai in the happy mode!! he ensured not to miss any shot

anjali was equally shocked as akash told them how arnav was the one who even fixed the cradle and none entered !!

khushi's eyes swelled with tears for the love she was getting from her husband!!

arnav held her close and they walked into their room...

she gave the baby to him and ran over to the baby corner...

she hugged the teddy kissing it tight making arnav smile

she ran her hands over the cradle which was decorated perfect and looked at arnav who was leaning against the door smiling at her explore

she opened the white cupboard to find it laid with baby clothes all for girls...

she gasped in shock

there were all colors from pink to white to blue to lavendor...


she took out every little frock jumping with delight showing it to her baby who was wriggling in his hold...

she opened the next drawer to find it laid with baby shoes and socks and accessories




anjali joined her in exploring and the two ladies jumped up and down displaying the stuff in front of the baby in arnav's hands... and as if she understood the princess kept wriggling in joy in arnav's hands...

nani: chotey did you buy all this alone

akash answered: what buy nani... every single stuff was even arranged by bhai... he even fixed the cradle himself...

khushi's eyes went wide with pride for her husband as akash continued showering the details along with nk... they even told them how arnav crawled the whole floor searching for a nut!!!

nani: chotey but if it was a boy then all this would have gone waste na??

arnav smiled

khushi came to his side and slide her hand beneath his looking into the baby: your papa knew it was only you...hey a princess and the baby let out a squeal as nani nodded her head...


all went into the emotional mode when

mami: HEllo hi bye bye.. wont you try our arnav bitwas clothes on princess... fitting check karna padega?? ( will have to check the fittings)

khushi jumped with delight as she grabbed the kid from arnav's hand

arnav: watch out

khushi placed the kid on the bed as anjali brought in a cute fur dress pink from the rack .. it was a pink frock with frills





it had a matching hair band as well and it fit perfectly...anjali and khushi sqealed as nani went in and walked out with another dress from the rack pink again..



arnav and akash went wide with shock as the ladies kept changng the baby into the million outfits there each time with nk clicking a picture...

nani 's choice was long but anjali mde the extra length around making the baby sit in a pattern amidst the fur spread



khushi: arnavjii... see this one was longerrr

arnav: what the!! i din know you ppl would make her everything on one day

khushi pouted as manorama mami fetched another dress blue this time.. with a blue and whie cap as well




the baby enjoyed being pamepered with diff dresses and kept smiling along!!!

arnav and akahs stood watching with awe

arnav: akash!! wont princess feel tired!!

akash: bhai.. she is also a girl na!!! dresses and tired . never

payal walked in with a lavendor choice


khushi and anjali squealed adoring their princess!!


nk: princess... give that style pose... smileee


arnav looked at nk shocked: a week old baby ... pose.. really!!!!

akash: bhai... you should have locked the bureau

mamaiji: arnav bitwa i think our ladies will have a mini fashion show for your princess today itself!!!

arnav was amused with the fact that his little darling was just like her mother in this enjoying the craziness along with her buas and nani...

the colors went from blue then to a white!!

finally the ladies went out of dresses and khushi pouted her lips: thats all arnavjiii

anjali: chotey... you should have got more!!!

nani: haan!!! akash bitwa and chotey we wil buy more for our raajkumari tomo.. i will also come with you

arnav and akash opened their mouths wide with shock: more dresses!!!!!!

anjali and payal together: yeah!! we will come in too!!! and we need to chose more good ones

akash: more good ones.. better than these???


arnav : okay!!!!!!!

and the entire family burst into laughter!!!

nani walked upto him: we were joking chotey!!! it was so beautiful!!!! your the worlds best father!!!

arnav smiled as anjali placed her hand in his cheek: i wish maa was here chotey

arnav held her hands and smiled: you are here na di and hugged her

khushi teared up and anjali pulled her in for the hug


payal smiled holding the baby with akash holding close to her... nani and nak were standing smiling at the happy moments and

mami: HHBB... fashion show over wa.. now lets go for break wa!!!!!!!

the family spent the evening playing with their princess and nani had a specail pooja for the baby's first day at home...

finally it was night and all retired to their rooms...

arshi walked into theirs with their princess!!

and before arnav can realize khushi hugged him placing a tight kiss on his cheeks!!!

arnav huskily: okay!!!!!!

khushi kissed him on the other cheek

arnav was surprised: wow!!!!!! you rem romancing ??

khushi hit him on his shoulder as baby squealed

arnav: see and lifted his eyes brow

khushi bent down kissing her babys legs: father's chamche!!! ( fathers pet)

khushi fed the baby as arnav sat by their side with his head on khushi's shoulder!!!

arnav: so khushi... finally princess has come home na...

khushi: hmm

arnav: she wll sleep in our room everyday!!!

khushi smiled : hmm

the baby finished feeding and fell asleep on her lap as arnav continued

arnav let his hands run over the baby's silky hair: her hair is just like your khushi...

khushi smiled : but she had beautiful eyes like you arnavjiii... how brown they are

arnav: her feet are so small khushi... so soft too

khushi smiled and slowly slid her hand placing it on arnav's cheek caressing it as he continued adoring his princess


arnav: khushi: when will she start talking ??

khushi chuckled: how should i know??

arnav made a puppy face: i thought you will know...

khushi chuckled: why did you always want a girl??

arnav smiled and leaned up facing khushi: so that she will be a blend of my mom and her mom :-))))

khushi eyes let out some tears and arnav wiped them away and nodded in negative

khushi: you know arnavjii.. i loved babies always... when i was a kid my neigbour aunty had a baby and i used to play with it but when they went away i felt so bad.. i wanted a baby for myself so that none will take it from me..


khushi: when i was a kid i used to throw coins into the well wishing for a baby...

arnav: what the!!

khushi: hmm.. what the!! only... then i looked upon the stars and wished for a baby

arnav smiled

khushi: then once nirmala aunty told her she got a baby from heaven coz she prayed and i prayed too and sat looking at the sky waiting for GOD to throw down a baby for me

arnav rolled his eyes: ur unbelievable khushi!!!

khushi: hmm... then every time i had a wish hair i would blow it away wishing i get a baby

arnav: blow hair for a baby.. wowww

khushi: huh... and then i became so angry with devi maiyya that i shouted at her for one hour asking her to hurry up and not delay


arnav chuckled hard at his wife's crazy doing: i should have been there that day khushi!!!



khushi was smiling at herself : but i never got a baby... all my saving pennies went into the well!!!

i was angry with DM for cheating me and asked rangu uncle to take out the money from the well...


arnav: don tell me he fished out the pennies for you

khushi pouted : no he said dm has taken everything already


then buaji came and told me if i be a good girl god would send me an angel with the baby...

arnav smiled and khushi leaned closer to him

khushi: but you know arnavji i believe all those prayers and wishes have come true...

The blessing DM gave me,
was my pregnancy with you!...

arnav smiled through his tears at his cute wife and said: but buaji and DM were wrong na khushi

khushi: hawww... why

arnav: you were never a good girl were you

khushi hit him on his shoulder faking an anger and both of them burst out smiling as arnav kissed her forehead: i dunno these tales khushi but all i knew is my happiness lies only with you!!!

khushi smiled and placed the sleeping baby in between both of them and they slid into their blankets holding the hands of the baby on either sides and the little family slowly fell asleep!!

Lovely update as always. Raizada ladies were trying all d outfits on princess. Just loved d pictures. Baby was really cute. Waiting to read further.
