"I want to invite Anamikaji and Ganeshji for our sagai on Monday." Khushi told Arnav.
He smiled. "Why not? After all, you are not getting engaged again, ever in your life."
Khushi smiled, almost jumping up and down in excitement. "It will be so much fun, Arnavji. With Anamikaji, Ganeshji, & Gaurav with us!"
"It is good that Nani and Buaji have decided to hold it in RM. There is ample space, and Babuji will feel more comfortable in familiar surroundings." Arnav remarked.
Khushi beamed. "Aap ko pata he, Arnavji, Babuji moved his fingers last week!"
Arnav nodded, smiling. "The physiotherapist called me. He said Babuji is improving rapidly."
Khushi chuckled. "Arnavji, I think it must be because he doesn't have to worry about me any longer!"
Arnav smiled. "His sanka devi is mine."
"Soch lijiye! It is a big responsibility!" Khushi teased him.
"A responsibility I can't do without." Arnav murmured as he took silent steps towards her and dropped a gentle kiss on her cheek.
Khushi blushed and clutched his shoulders with trembling fingers, her nails biting into his skin through his clothes.
"Khushi..." he murmured, his lips trailing their tingling way towards her parted lips.
"Arnav Babua!" Buaji hollered. "Come and drink your adrak ki chai. I made it with my own hands, Nandkisore!"
Arnav sighed. "Do you really want a sagai, mehendi, sangeet, and haldi? Can't we just have our shadi, straightaway?"
Khushi giggled.
"Sabr ka phal meetha hota he, Arnavji!"
"Meetha hoga. I will make sure of that." Arnav murmured. "But will you be laughing like this on our suhaag raat too, Khushi Kumari Gupta?" He ran a finger down her rosy cheek.
Khushi looked away, blushing.
