Before you start reading this one shot,I would like to say something
The first time I watched IPKKND was one of the most beautiful scenes ever in IPK and that was arnav and khushi getting engaged unknowingly in the presence of divine , that was the point my madness for IPK started.
Arnav singh raizada ,when it comes to me he is the perfect man ever ,the man who may be a ruthless and arrogant but who has heart of gold,the man who was self made,who rose from rags to riches,from being the holder of the family to being the man who shielded his family from all odds a businessman who always walked with his head held high still having a heart that has the innocence of a child,,who never shared his pain with anyone,who took all on his own shoulders and the man who was Arnavji only for the woman who held his heart and who became the reason of her existence,his possessiveness and the unconditional care ,the anger that too held only concern and the love that was for forever and beyond.
Well when it comes to him I can go on and on but I better stop my blabbering but whenever I watch the old scenes which is all we have left with I always feel that the guest house incident he wanted Khushi to know that he didn't send her there deliberately and so I feel he deserved that khushi once hear him too and so I have tried it through this one shot,it happens when something you so wish to write it takes the most time nd it took me too a hell lot of time to finally pen it down.
This happens on the day of Anjali's anniversary party.

| From the time she has left the job , an air of uneasiness has surrounded him,those eyes that was all he could see everywhere and one thing he cldnt bare was the accusations in them,she thought that he was inhuman that he deliberately send her to a place which was in such a hazardous condition,he would never do that to anyone and what angered him the most was the thought that why what she felt mattered to him she could think anything she want,but then why has her feeling so left him restless and annoyed. |
He has tried telling her on the day they have met in the temple that day but she has relented ,even in the store room when she has turned up that day in the office but those eyes ,he didn't knew why but seeing tears strimming down those beautiful hazel eyes,he had gone ahead and broken the door because she wanted that ,but she still hasn't listened what does she think of herself and her words
"hamarsi shakal dekhna nahi chahte aap,toh Khushi hojaiye kyunki lucknow jaa rahe hai hum,hamesha hamesha ke liye"(You dont want to see my face,then be happy because i am going to lucknow forever) reviberated in his mind again and again.
"Enough"he told himself,its good she was leaving the city forever ,he didn't want to see her anytime and she can go wherever she wanted ,it doesn't make a difference to him she can think whatever she wants ,Arnav Singh Raizada couldn't let himself be affected by these matters and he wouldn't not certainly by a girl names Khushi kumara gupta.
Leaving the safe heaven of his plants,he made his way downstairs, it was di's marriage ananiversary party and it has nothing but to be perfect,when Arnav Singh Raizada does something it has to be the best.
He send some change in his surroundings ,he felt the same gust of air flowing around it but he brushed it off, she cldnt be here there wasn't any reason she could be here in his house and he wont think of her not anymore,but tried as he might that feeling didn't was leaving him,he went to his room talking on his phone continuously he pulled the door of his wardrobe and was about to leave when he heard a sound what was that ,to say he was shocked would be an understatement there was Khushi Kumari Gupta sitting hiding in his closet ,someone whose mentioning he has forbidden himself just hours ago and thereshe was ,but what was she doing here , and then again without even paying any heed she ran off his room leaving him agitated.
He needed no he wanted answers,didn't she herself has said that she is going away leaving the city forever,and today she had to answer and listen whatever he wanted too after that she can go wherever she wished for but not before hearing a word from him.
He found her at the poolside and without wasting any time he spoke
"tumne to kaha tha ki lucknow chali jaogi"(you said you would go to lucknow)".
Hearing his voice she stilled,what was he doing here she turned and tried to walk past him but he blocked her way.
Without facing she snorted back
"humein aapse koi baat nahi karni"(I don't want to talk anything to you).
But before she could take a step forward he pulled her to his side holding her arm and said in an agitated tone
"jab mein tumse baat kar raha ho.toh don't u dare turn ur back on me do you get ,main tumse kuch pooch raha hoon, tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?,tumne to kaha tha ki tum lucknow chalo jaogi,kabhi lautke nahi aaungi"(when I am talking to you ,don't u dare turn your back on him you get that ,I am asking you something what ru doing here ?,you said you are going to lucknow that you will never return back).
What right does he had to question her,she could do whatever she wished for but keeping her thoughts aside she answered back
"aap batameezi kar rahe hai"(you are crossing ur lines).
Kyunki batameezi ke elawa,tumhe aur koi bhaasha samajh nahi aati"(because you don't understand any other language except this).he snapped back.
"Aap Arnav Singh Raizada honge aapke ghar mein"(you would be Arnav Singh Raizada in your own house)she snorted.
"mera hi ghar hai"(this is my house)he replied as a matter of fact.
She didn't know why but standing there in his hold she found herself answering his question
"majboori thi,tab bhi aur ab bhi ,warna hum mar jaate par aap jaise logoin ke yahaan kaam karne kabhi nahi aate"(hadn't it be my need at then and now too otherwise I wld have die then work for people like you).she lashed out.
Hearing those words from her has angered him,what does she think of herself,he pulled her more close to him holding her arm behind her back and looking straight into her eyes he demanded
"what do you mean by hum jaise log Khushi kumari gupta,pehle bhi tum hum jaise logoin ke liye hi kaam karti thi"(what do you mean by people like us ,earlier too you used to work for people like us incase you have forgotten).
"Haan MR. Arnav Singh Raizada aap jaise log,balki sirf aap who insaan jo jeetne ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hai yahaan tak ki ek insaan ki zindagi ko bhi khatre mein daal sakta hai aapne fayde ke liye"(yes,people like you MR. Arnav Singh Raizada who can do anything for winning even if that meant putting someone's life into danger for their own benefit).
"ENOUGH,bahut bol chuki tum Khushi kumara gupta,ab sunno agar mujhe pata hota ki us building ki haalat itni kharab hai,toh main tumhe kabhi wahaan nahi bhejta,mujhe bilkul bhi idea nahi tha ki that building was about to collapse and how could I have known that you didn't meet the concerned person there I only came to know when the news of building collapsing came to me I and suddenly he stopped what was he doing ,but listening her words he couldn't stop himself but he cant tell her what has he gone through knowing her life was in danger ,seeing her unconscious in that condition has made him worried like no ends but he cldnt tell her that no ways.
Khushi has stood still there in his hold and in his eyes he saw the truthness of his words,nomatter what she has said to him minutes ago she didn't believed in the corner of her heart that he could do something deliberately to put her life into danger,wasn't he the one who has saved him from a passing car that day and wasn't he the one only who has risked his own life and come to guest house to save her.
They both stood lost gazing into each other eyes,the eyes doing their own talking when a voice broke their trance.
"ASR" he let her free hearing lavanya's voice and she walked off from there.
The whole party passed like that but that night as he stood there standing in the poolside gazing at her payal(anklet)in his hands that she has warried off her feet ,he again found himself lost in her thoughts unwary of the fact that inspite of his the promise he made to himself hours ago.
Another part of the same city Khushi Kumari Gupta laid down in her thoughts his words going on repeating them in her mind and when she did sleep then her dreams too were only filled of one man Arnav Singh Raizada.
