Arnav glared at him. Khushi giggled. Arnav looked at Khushi and gave her an angry stare and paced upto his room.
"Oh god! Ye Arnav bhi na.. Angry young man!", Khushi thought to herself and smiled. She paced behind him into his room and shut the door.
In Arnav's room..
Khushi walked to Arnav who sat on his bed sulking and frowning. She gently sat on his lap and put her arms around his neck.
"What happened now? Why are you angry?", she asked sweetly.
"What the hell was that?", he barked making Khushi shudder.
"What was what Arnav?", she counter questioned, not being able to understand the context of his question.
"You hugging NK!", he shouted.
"Arnav! I met NK after so long! That's why I hugged him! What's wrong in that?", she asked.
"And what about you saying I love you sooo much! What the hell Khushi?", he barked in anger.
"Oh come on Arnav! I do love him ofcourse! What's wrong in that?", she announced.
"What's wrong? What's WRONGG??? You're asking me this Khushi???", he shouted in frustration.
"I don't know what you wanna say Arnav! I really can't understand why you're behaving like this! I guess you need sometime!", she said and walked out of his room.
Arnav sat back on his bed flabbergasted at the conversation that happened a few moments ago between Khushi and himself.
"Why is she so casual about it? Why can't she understand what I'm asking her?", he thought to himself.
In the hall the shopping list was ready when Khushi's phone rang.
"Hey Anji di! How the vacation going on?", asked Khushi cheerfully.
"Good! Me and Angad returning today itself! Shaadi ki taiyaariyan karni hai!", she replied.
"Oh come on di! We'll manage here! NK is here too!", replied Khushi.
"Still! It's my brother's wedding!", exclaimed Anjali with pride. Khushi giggled on the other end.
"But vacation?", Khushi asked feeling a bit upset.
"Arey princess! We'll go after the wedding!", replied Anjali.
"Di.. Why don't you get married again! I wasn't there for your wedding.. So get married again.. Then go for your second honeymoon!", suggested Khushi with an evil grin adorning her face.
"Shut up! Now it's you turn princess! I'll get you married off soon!", said Anjali with a smirk.
"Di! Me, NK, Naani and Akash are going to Sharma house.. We'll pick Payal and Garima Aunty and go for shopping!", replied Khushi.
Arnav walked out of his room with a stern face. He glanced at Khushi talking on the phone. Khushi continued to speak, "Di! Do you want anything or we can do your shopping tomorrow!", said Khushi
"I'll be back in a couple of hours.. I've landed in Bangalore! Sitting in the airport for our flight.. I'll be there in about 3 hours!", replied Anjali.
"But you need rest.. So we'll go again for shopping tomorrow! The haldi and mehendi are day after.", said Khushi.
"Hmmm... What about chhotte?", asked Anjali.
"Di.. you chhotte is angry with me for god knows what reason and doesn't wanna speak to me! So let it be di!", she replied as she glanced at Arnav who was still looking at her.
Anjali sighed and replied, "I'll see you in the evening! I guess you guys will be back by then!", said Anjali.
"Yup di! Bye! See you!", she said and cut the call.
Khushi glanced back at Arnav and then turned to NK and Akash.
"Chalo guys! Let's go to Payal's place and pick her up!", said Khushi.
Akash nodded and NK got up excitedly. Maami quickly touched up her makeup. They turned to leave when suddenly.. "I'm also coming with you guys!", said an commanding voice of Arnav.
Khushi gave an i'm-not-bothered look to him and walked out.
"Great Nannav!", replied NK. Arnav walked with his keys to his SUV.
"Akash! You, NK and Mami go on to the mall.. Me and Khushi will pick Payal and come to the mall!", said Arnav.
"But bhai!", replied Akash but trailed off.
"Nannav.. Akash, Maasi and I will go and pick Payal bhabhi and Aunty! You and K go on to the mall and start with the shopping!", said NK casually.
"But NK..", said Khushi only to be cut off by Arnav.. "FINE!", he replied. Khushi shrugged off and sat in the SUV and Arnav started the car and zoomed off to the mall where as Akash, NK and Mami went to Sharma House.
Akash stopped his car in front of Payal's House and sprinted to the door and rang the bell. Payal opened the door and blushed at the sight of Akash standing at her door with a sweet smile.
"Hi!", he greeted.
"Hi!", she replied with a slight blush.
"Shopping ke liye chalein?", he asked.
Payal nodded and called Garima, They went to the car and settled down and continued the journay to the mall.
At the mall..
Arnav went to the basement parking and halted his car at the empty parking slot.
Khushi quickly jumped out of the car and paced to the elevator. Arnav was quick enough. He locked the car and paced behind Khushi. Khushi entered the empty elevator and so did Arnav. Khushi turned her back to him trying to ignore him.
Arnav also was in no mood to speak to Khushi after that conversation that happened in the room. He also turned away. The lift opened up at the required floor.
Khushi walked over to the Mr. Sandwich counter at the food court and grabbed a bite for herself and Arnav. She paid and walked back to Arnav and gave him the sandwich she had bought for him and started eating her sandwich as she passed by various shops on the floor followed by Arnav who still held onto the sandwich unopened.
Khushi turned to see Arnav walking blankly behind her with the sandwich in hand.
She stopped and said, "Open and eat it! The sandwich won't open by itself!"
Khushi then passed an angry glare to which Arnav gave a confused look and started eating his sandwich.
After Arnav finished with his sandwich, Khushi opened her hand bag removed his medicines and handed them over to him with a small bottle of water which she always carries.
"How come you have my medicines?", he asked as he took the medicines from her hand.
"Obviously I knew you would come and we were to go out for lunch together so I had kept them in my bag! I thought the lunch will be romantic and we would spend some quality time talking.. but someone is so confused about things here! So just think this was our lunch date and eat your medicines!", she said angrily and walked past him as she saw Akash, Payal, NK and Maami walk towards them.
