Arnav Singh Raizada

A 25-year-old self-made man, The owner of AR Fashions. Extremely handsome, known to be the most eligible bachelor in the country. He is shrewd as a boss and extremely professional and is known as 'ASR' in his office and his employees are scared of him. He has done his schooling from London. He hates people who are fake, simply can't tolerate them. He can't forget his past. He is an orphan. He has a caring side too but only known to his family. Arnav doesn't show his emotions to anyone but believes that his emotions will be read by only one person in his life and that would be the one who would love him 'for who he is and not what he is!'. He believes in love but doesn't show it. He is single and simply against being in a relationship because he believes that relationships are meant to be long term and will get into one only when he feels that the girl is meant for him. He is very helpful and understanding to people he likes which is a limited list. Lets see who unveils his soft side and how he falls in love?

Khushi Gupta

A 23-year-old girl. She is simple yet outgoing. She is cheerful and bubbly. She stands for what she believes in and never lets go of her inculcated values. She has completed her Fashion Designing, done her 1 year internship in NY and is now working as a freelance fashion designer. She is an orphan and lives with her roommate Zoya in NY! The only family is her old housemate Anjali who is like an elder sister to her. She can do anything for Anjali so she is coming back to India for her and also her school friend Akash who also happens to be Anjali's cousin is wanting to get married but does not have the guts to talk to his family about it. She believes in love and wants to find true love. Lets see what we have in store for her?

Akash Raizada

A 24 year old sweet and understanding cousin brother of Arnav. He works with Arnav in AR Fashions. He was Khushi's senior in school and a really good friend of hers. Loves Payal from school time who is now his girl friend. He still hasn't stated it to his family. The only person who knows about their relationship is Khushi and Akash's cousin Anjali.

Payal Sharma

She is Akash's girl friend and Khushi's classmate. She is thoughtful, mature and shy. She is very understanding. She is very reserved in nature. She loves Akash alot but is still scared to tell her family about their relationship. She lives with her Amma, Babuji and Buaji.

Anjali Khanna

She is 27 year old. Arnav's elder sister & Akash's cousin. She is sweet and playful but extremely responsible. She loves Arnav a lot and always teases him. She is very close to Akash as well. She was Khushi's housemate in NY for 2 years while she was working in NY and Khushi was in college. She loves Khushi like her own sister and knows everything about her. She secretly wishes to get Khushi married to her younger brother Arnav whom she fondly calls 'Chhote'. She is married and loves her husband. She helps everyone around the house.

Angad Khanna

Angad is Anjali's loving husband. He is an Architect and thus keeps travelling most of the time. He lives with the Raizada's as he doesn't want Anjali to be alone when he is travelling. Loves his wife and can do anything for her. He helps Arnav with decisions when it comes to family.

Devyani Raizada

Maternal grandmother of Arnav. She is a very sweet person who loves her family a lot. However, she sets all the rules in the house and sees to it that they are followed.

Manorama Raizada

Manorama is Arnav's maami and Akash's mother. She thinks that she is very modern and tries to speak in English but unfortunately becomes the joker. She is a loving lady. Her husband has shifted to London.

Zoya Farooqi

Khushi's housemate and friend in New York.

Aman Mathur

Arnav's Right Hand Man and Decision Maker for AR Fashions when Arnav is not around. Arnav trusts him very much. He is Arnav's professional helper.

Prologue

Shantivan (Raizada Mansion)

A lady in her room looks at the calendar. She looks at the date today and big smile covers her face. She comes out of her room in full excitement...

Lady: AAJ KHUSHI AA RAHI HAI!!!!

She comes running down the stairs and shouts again...

Lady: CHHOTE! AKASH! NANI! MAAMI! AAJ KHUSHI AA RAHI HAI!!!!

A man comes running to her...

Man: Anji di.. Relax...

Anjali: Akash! Aaj Khushi aa rahi hai!

Akash smiles...

Akash: Main bhi bohot khushi hu! My bestie is coming!

Anjali: Meri pyari princess... 2 saal baad mujhe apni shakal dikha rahi hai!

Akash: Mujhe to use miley kitne saal ho gaye! 12^th ke baad mili hi nahi!

Another man comes...

Man: Di! Please calm down!

Anjali: Chhote! Tum samajh nahi rahe ho! Aaj meri princess aa rahi hai!

Arnav: Iss ghar mein shayad mere alawa sab Khushi ko jaante hai! Maine to usko aaj tak dekha hi nahi hai!

Anjali: Haan! Obviously! Tumhe apne office aur apne bedroom se phursat miley to hi to tum mere ya Akash ke room mein jaoge! Hum dono ke room mein Khushi ki photo hai!

Arnav: Whatever! (He walks to the dining table)
