Let me start with the title of this story, really liked it that was what got me reading. So will leave my views on the story so far, let me apologize in advance if I ramble.
Chapter 1 - I must say you have a way with words, it simply draws you to your story and that I could see from the first chapter. Establishing the premise and introducing the characters in the way you want us to know. The very much in love couple is to be blessed with a baby, an everyday reminder of their love.
Chapter 2 - The fact a concerned father is asking her to meet someone for her to consider as her life partner shows, how much she misses her mother. Her nervousness and anxiety are understandable, having never really dated. To meet someone in that manner can set butterflies running in the stomach. It is endearing the father daughter relationship and we can see the warmth come through. Did she just meet her boss in the same place she was to meet her date? Coincidence much???
Chapter 3 - Such a refreshing way to get to know someone from work in an informal atmosphere and despite the loss of the mobile phone, it was worth the time spent. Was Arnav her date or did her date leave her they waiting, I am not too sure. The choice of deserts left me smiling; I would love to eat them too, though I don't have a sweet tooth.
Chapter 4 - I was hoping Arnav was her date but then it was be too clichd if it were so, but none the less she had a pleasant time. I hope she has no reservations of meeting the guy she was supposed to meet, Arnav is her boss and things may not work out there the hint of Khushi's practical nature sure says she views it that way. Lavanya and Khushi are the friends who are there for each other and it is good to know they are watching out for each other. Interesting phone conversation between Khushi and Amar.
Chapter 5 - I do get Khushi her and they is not thing wrong in being practical about life, dreaming about a man you is clearly unreachable in her eyes compels her to consider Amar. He does not seem bad either and yes life is very complicated. What we want and what we will get, we have no clue, do we? I like Lavanya's solution to the problem they are facing, very intelligent J
Chapter 6 - Love the song (the original one) - poor girl what has she gotten herself into? It is not easy to draw oneself away from a man you feel so strongly about. Rationality aside, I would not like to be in Khushi's shoes. I do hope things sort themselves out and Khushi gets to deal with her heart and mind.
Chapter 7 - I am feeling all warm and fuzzy reading the bit between Ranjit and Lavanya, heart form a stronger bond than love, it was so obvious here. I am glad Lavanya, Khushi and Ranjit are there for each other. I sound like Karan Johar here but it is important family and loved ones. The saree the inevitability of the situation and the result, Amar is Khushi's Arnav and we get our wish...the promises to be a wonderful journey...
I going to look out for updates, so don't bother with PMs; stories I like I follow the thread closely...
