Part 9

Arnav: "Where is she..?" He asked with raising brows..

Maria: "She is in the conference room.." He nodded and stood up.. Maria took his laptop with her and few important file regarding the current deal with Oberoi Agency.. They walked to the conference room follow by Maria from behind.. The conference room wasn't that far from his office and only needed staff and clients was here for the meeting and he was one of the project leader as AR was the biggest company in the Fashion Industries.. While walking an familiar cold breeze hit his face.. His heart beat was increasing and he could feel something which was missing years from his heart.. Maria open the conference rooms glass door for him and he step in… The first his eyes caught was a girl nearly 20 plus with her hair tied in a bun and minimal make up on her face which was only to increase the glow on her white red skin.. He was shocked and surprised to see her and his legs glued on the floor.. His heart beat skipped and his eyes was only on her..

Arnav: "Khushiii…" the only words manage to come out from his mouth.. He was looking at her so does she.. He was surprised but she wasn't surprised to see him.. She was reacting all normal like she didn't know him.. Like she didn't feel for him.. But he was totally lost in her.. His eyes was only on her which was looking her like saw a ghost.. It wasn't blinking nor it was moving an inched.. The staff and clients turn to him and they can see some uneasy expression on his face.. But they don't have the courage to ask.. Maria almost whispering at his chief.. Calling him out of his trance.. But it went vain.. He was still standing like a statue and his eyes was only on her.. Maria's eyes too pointed to his gaze and she very well know he was lost in Oberai Secretary..

Maria: "ASR.. We are in the conference room.." She trying to make him alert.. But still the same.. She slowly shook his shoulder and make him back to present..

Arnav: "Huh…??" He gives a confused looked to Maria..

Maria: "We are in the conference room now.. The clients are waiting for this meeting to proceed.. But we are standing here for nearly 10 minutes which make the entire clients and staff stare at us.." She explain everything to him in detail.. But his eyes again move to Khushi.. She wasn't looking at him this time..

Arnav: "I would be back in 10 minutes.." He leave Maria and the clients speechless.. He just walked out of the conference room and marched to his cabin.. He need to calm himself..

He seat on the leather chair and looked here and there.. He was feeling nervous seeing her.. Mostly he was scared to see her.. His deeds would splashed on his face again.. The deeds he too can never forget in his life.. Where he destroy everything.. He destroy her and he destroy their relation too..

He closed his eyes and he saw her again.. But this time its not the past was flashing in.. But the same image which was seating in the conference room.. He can see her eyes.. There were no pain and hurt.. Her eyes was terrifying.. He gulped down.. He closed his eyes and gain the courage to face her.. He need to be strong.. He need to face her again.. He need to talk with her.. He stood up immediately and walked out of his cabin and marched to the conference room.. He enter the conference and the entire staff and clients greeted him.. But his eyes was only on one person.. That was her..

Arnav: "Proceed…" with stern voice.. He didn't want to show his worries to anyone.. He get seated on the respective chair while the presentation was going on.. He was least interested in the slide.. He was staring at her just hoping she would look at him once but she didn't.. She didn't give a damn to him.. He can see she have changed.. She wasn't the same Khushi that he knew.. She was new..

The presentation was over in one hour and all the staff and clients went for a lunch breaks.. He saw her walking towards the exit and he immediately stood up..

Arnav: "Kaisi Ho…??(How are you..?)" He asked politely.. She turn and meet his eyes..

Khushi: "Do I know you…??" with raising brows.. Arnav was confused on her query.. He was sure it was her.. His eyes would never lie to him..

Arnav: "Yes you know me.. In fact not only know… But we share something special.. You was my girlfriends.. And we were in a relati…" Been interrupt..

Khushi: "We was.. But now we aren't.. I don't know you and I don't think so you know me.. Is better we remain this relation based on professionalism.. I didn't want anything related to us roam in his office.. Like I said.. I don't know who are you..? So it better we remain stranger…" She turn and was shocked to see Aman and NK standing in front of her..

Aman/NK: "Khushiii…" They called together.. She smile and nodded.. She hug them one by one and they was too happy to see her here after such as long time..

Aman: "Where was you..?" he asked once they broke apart..

Khushi: "I was at abroad.. I went to continue my study there.. Do you remember my scholarship..??" They nodded.. "I start my life there and here I am today.." with a glint of happiness in her eyes after meeting her old collogues..

NK: "Arnav do you saw Khushi.. She is back.. Lord.. She is back.." NK went to him and all the three pair of eyes move to him.. He can see her cold behaviour with him.. With Aman and NK she was quite friendly.. She didn't show any argument or disagreement with them.. Why would she..? She don't have any problem with them.. Her only problem was the great Arnav Singh Raizada..

Arnav: "I know she is back NK.. You don't have to remind me.." He give a unpredictable glance to NK and walked out of the conference room.. He feel like to tear everything right now.. She ignore him and that was hard for him to digest.. He can never take this insult.. He can never take her cold behaviour towards him..

It was late night and he was back to his mansion.. He was tired as the day was hectic.. He was mad on himself and her too.. She wasn't giving damn to him.. She didn't even talked to him.. Her concentration was move to Aman and NK.. He was frustrated.. He feel to yell and screams out all his anger.. He saw HP running to him but he wasn't in a mood of hearing anything..

HP: "Arnav Bhaiyya.. Arnav Bhaiyya.. Voh Pa…" Been interrupt..

Arnav: "Not today HP.. I'm not in a mood.. Don't disturb me.." He rushed to his room while HP was standing helpless at the living room.. He again run to Pari's room..

It was late night and he hardly consuled himself to sleep.. He was having difficulty and she was keep hunting him.. After two hours he dozed off taking two pack of whiskey.. He wanted to forget everything was happening surround him..

It was nearly 5 in the morning.. He open his eyes when he feel some burden on his chest.. While his shirt was wet too.. He slowly open his eyes there he saw a little girl sleeping on top of him.. Her tiny finger was clenched on his shirt.. Just showing how scared she was to let him go.. He frown his brow and thinking how did she come in his room.. As he remember she wasn't here with him last night and he sleep alone.. He slowly lifted his head and saw her face side way.. She was sleeping fully on his body that make difficult for him to wake up.. His hand slowly move to her.. But once his skin touch hers his eyes popped out.. He hurriedly wake up and took her in his laps..

Arnav: "Pari.." He patted her cheeks.. "Wake up damn it.." He shout his lungs out.. "Hari Prakash..!!" He shouts and that innocent soul run in his room..

HP: "Arnav Bhaiyya.. Kya hua..?? (What happen..?)" with anxious voice..

Arnav: "What happen to her..?? Why her body is hot..?? What the hell happen to her..?" His words and mind was messed up..

HP: "She wasn't having her dinner last night.. She.." Been interrupt..

Arnav: "What..????" he yelled in sudden.. "Why didn't you told me Damn it..!!!" Be blurt out on the innocent soul who wasn't in fault..

HP: "I was trying but you strictly worn you don't want any disturbance.. So.." he stopped when he saw his chief's red eyes..

Arnav: "Damn..!!" he cursed himself.. He move to Pari and took her in his embrace.. He was trying hard to give some warmness to her.. "Call the doctor.. I need her here now..!!" he barked his next order.. HP obey him and run out of the room to call the doctor.. While Arnav was praying in his heart which he was doing again after five years.. He didn't wanted to lost her.. "Pari daddy is here…" His eyes moist.. This was the first time he was claiming himself as her dad.. He tighten the grips and kissing her forehead just to make her realized that her father was here with her..
