Well i'm not that kid. u r def being biased. i'm not supporting anything. i've read MB nt as religious text but as a course text, i'm a literature student, so i def know it. abt politics, MB is all about politics i knw that, and what women r in indian society, or even in epics...what apsaras are, just a way to satisfy lust nd seduce others.
Draupadi, u know although she accepted 5 husbands, but it was nt her choice, i mean i dont even care abt piousness...why should women think abt men's tags of a pious woman and a s**t? i mean the most virtuous man is Rama in indian society, and even tht man asked for agnipareeksha...a test of his wife's loyalty...sorry. that's unacceptable. and tht 5 husbands thing, dont know whether u r aware or not, but kunti purposely said the sentence tht divide among urself bcz draupadi was the main thing who keep the pandavas together. and i would have loved it if five hubby were her choice, bt they were not. The whole MB, most politically active women, kunti nd draupadi suffers patriarchy all over their life.that's why draupadi says this to bheem at death time tht she wished tht in next birth she would had been his wife only.
well let me answer u
yes Draupadi didn't accept her 5 husbands willingly .. but it was not Kunti's trick but Sri Krishna's .. he made it happen so that five bro didn't go divided .. y?? coz he had a bigger political aim .. now u can say so the woman got used r8 .. but Sri Krishna not only used Draupadi he actualluy used everyone for achiving his goal .. men/woman doesn't really matter .. doesn't he used Avimanyu, doesn't he used Karna .. he was d master mind for whom men woman didn't matter
2nd .. Apsara .. well prostitutes r/were/will be in every society .. but if u talk about Apsara u will see der were Gandharba too ..
about pious woman . I used as d translation of Sati .. now what Sati is? pious woman actually not .. at least 5 greatest Sati in Hinduism was not at all pious in today's social view .. all of thm enjoyed der sexual life as they wanted .. Ahalya, Tara, Mandodori, Kunti n Draupadi .. except mandodori .. she was a real one man woman .. Sati meant a woman with strength n power .. the meaning of word changed but the fact remain d same
for u giving some addition .. Hinduism is d only religion who approved women independence .. de were free to choose their husband, cud even flee with der beloved one, n marry him .. [Veda agreed to it] .. n a raped woman was not rejected by society .. for example .. Satyavati was raped n Ved Byas was her son .. but Satyabati later get married to Shantanu n we all know who was Ved Vyas ..
PS: Kunti left Karna it was completely her decision .. society used to accept woman with der illicit child then ..
