One of the most emotional updates ever...loved it utterly!
The acceptance of his love for her at the time he made it, cleared the path in so many ways in this update. His admitting it to Shahshi her admitting it to her mom, she could never have been so sure of their relationship with mamaji either..if he had not said it to her first!
.. Arya immediately realises that she has been given the gift the only gift she wanted, Khushi as her mother the moment she sees them walk down...and wants to be transferred to her lap...immediately and not lose a minute ! Beautiful!
Shashi and Garima also feel similarly, they need to ensure their daughters happiness and are honest about her parentage and that they have a bigger and more moral responsibility towards Khushi...
Loved how mamaji questions Khushi, her reasons for her acceptance is important to this relationship and he wants her to take a well I informed decision independently without any pressure or on any false pretences.
Loved how the warmth and love she has received from the family also features in her response,for they have truly given her that! He wants her not to feel obligated, pressured or misled, he wants her to be certain that she is ready and understands...
Loved how she responds saying that Its having taken Arya into consideration that a marriage just for her sake would in the future result in bitterness and Arya was too special for that, and they love her too much for her to be exposed to such a relationship. Loved how she says that to make a marriage work...health, age and past relationship status dont have to be predetermined ! Superb!
She cannot understand all this as for her Arya is already her daughter!
Loved how nani will forgive akash and Payal if she gives them the gossip about Arnav and Khushi...hilarious...naughty nani...if only Anjali did not intervene...
Loved the entire scene with Arnav and Shashi, the body language, the apprehension and the wit! Arnav having admitted to Khushi about his feelings is secure and ready to now acknowledge it in front of Shashi, loved how he almost instantaneously tells him that he loves Khushi...but ofcourse Shashi is not letting him off so easily...and puts him through an endurance test...and our gorgeous Arnav passes with flying colours! Loved how the very non violent Shashi manages to scare him... Muah! Full power to fathers of daughters!
Love how Garima and Khushi have their mother daughter talk and draw parallels from her life ...a second mother seems to be always opento criticism and taunts...Garima has witnessed it first hand and wants to sad her daughter from that...but Khushi is determined, Arya is hers ...she is the daughter of her heart and to make her one officially no sacrifice is too big...even if it means not ever having another child...a biological one, loved how she tells Garima how she loves them both and they her and she cannot imagine a life without them, loved how she tells her mother about the Payals that she gave Arya, the most precious thing to her but now Arya comes first...
Such a sensitively written part...it was beautiful.
Arya the little one...has had enough of all this mayhem...she just wants her mother and father...and so anxious is she that she runs to Garima and says please "nani" say yes ...I absolutely loved that,she so naturally, spontaneously and instinctively called her nani...after all that is what you call your mothers mother!!
