The entire house was in a hustle bustle..Anyone could guess that some

Grandfunction is going to take place there ..it was when

the voice of panditji sitting in the wedding altar reached everyone's ear.

"ponnu mapilaya azhachindu vango..nazhi aguthu"(ask the bride and groomto come..its getting late)with his voice echoing over the

place the othet voices of people who replied the same reached

the rooms of bride and groom..

the shy bride was brought by two pretty ladies and three little angels whereas the groom descended the stairs with pride with

two young man and twohandsome lads...

One of the pretty lady said " amma intha vayasla kuda

vekapadranga parunga vasundra"(mom is shying even in this age vasundra)

"Don't tease maaji gowri..see now how will she not shy when your papa stands there and gaze at maaji in such way"

"vasu gowri koncha neram amaithiya irunga..muhurthathuku time agudu"
the bride's voice aleted them..(vasu gowri be quiet for some time..we are getting late for good time)

The two young man reached them and one among him said
"Vasu darling see mom is restless to meet dad come lets take her"

"vijay dont tease my sasumaa"

sashi interrupted them and everyone broke into laughter seeing Patammal

50year bride to shy down..she was taken to the wedding altar and made

to sit beside groom nagarajanwho turned 60 years recently..

This is the 60 years maraige of nagarajan and pattamal..to get the

blessibgsfrom them their nly daughter gowri with her family came from mumbai..

It was a love marage for gowri..She married Sashi and settled in Mumbai..She was blessed with two cute little angels Priya 4 yrs old and khushi 3 yrs old..

Their neighbor in Mumbai was Vijay and vasunthra singh raizada..They were with them through all thick and thin..They were more like a part of their family..So they accompanied them to Coimbatore where Gowri's parents lived ..It was their arubathaam kalyanam(60 years marriage was celebrated in Tamil nadu where when the guy turns 60 they will once again get married to their wives for their well being and long life full of happiness)Vijay and vasuthra was blessed with Anjali 6 yrs old,Arnav 5yrs old and Akash 4 yrs old..Priya,anjali and khushi were always inseparable.

Arnav and Khushi was so close to each other ..Akash was usually a shy guy,..

"Ketti melam ketti melam" the pandit voice echoed the entire hall.

The groom tied THALI(Mangalsutra) around bride's neck..Gowri,sashi,vijay and vasuthra was beaming with happiness to see this..In the corner of the altar Priya was standing with akash and anjali..Arnav was standing with Khushi.

Atlas the day came to an end when everyone got blessings from Pattamal and Nagarajan..They dispersed for the lunch..when the elders came back they were surprised to see the scene unfolding in front of them..

There in the altar Arnav was sitting with Khushi as groom and bride..Behind them as the parent raizada's and gupta's were standing for the real wedding here the position was taken by Priya,Akash and anjali..

The elders was watching intently as what was going..

Arnav and Khushi was doing all the things that their grand parents did..Atlast Arnav took some yellow threads which was kept in the plate, and tied it around Khushi after which he put vermillion in her partition..Now Akash ,anjali and priya was putting the turmeric mixed rice and flowers on their head(That is known as ATCHADAI which in tamil marriage would be drizzled on couples to bless them)

All the elders stood shocked..The first one to come out of shock was vijay who immediately clicked the pics of what was happening'

When the children noticed this they all came running when Anjali spoke first..

"Maa Dekhona..Chottey and baby got married like achi and Thatha
(like grandmom and grandpa).."

Now everyone was shocked..Vasuthra asked "Who gave you this idea baccha??"

"Maa I only said the idea..Nice na..See we playing Marriage game!!!"Arnav asked with a toothy grin ..Patammal and Nagrajan was laughing at their antics..

"Amma I mariyd(married) MAMU'" khushi said showing her teeth

Khushi always called Arnav Mamu..She had noticed Gowri calling sashi as Mama..(It was tamilians custom to call their husband as MAMA)So from the first she use to call Arnav as mama..

"Yes maa I married my Ammu"(Ammu is the endearment in tamil..)Arnav always used to call Khushi has Ammu..

Arnnav and khushi were giving their 32 teeth grin..

The elders was stunned to react..

"So you both were watching all the happenings and decided to marry yourself without anyone" Asked Sashi..

"No appa (dad) I was with Khushi and anju Di was with arnav" Priya butte in their convo..

Seeing Akash to be very quiet gowri asked him "Are you into this Akash????"

Since he was an ever shy guy he just nodded his head in yes..before they could react arnnav pulled khushi

"Ammu come na lets play someother game"

"Mamu enaku tired ah iruku"

(Mamu am so tired)

"Oh ho now my ammu is tired??? Then come I'll take you to your room and we can sleep.." arnav said by holding her cheeks..

With that all the children ran to their rooms to take some rest after their Marriage Game..

"Rendu perum poruthama irukangala??" pattamal asked..

(Both looks perfect with each other ryt??)

"pattu neya karpana panikatha..Avanga ipo kolandainga tha..Athuku mela Kolanthaiyoda pethavanaga decide pananaum.." Nagaraj replied her..

(Paatu don't imagine such things..They are just kids now..This has to be decided by their parents..)

All gupta's and raizada's broke into laughter..

"Sasumaa You just saw their act for one day..We too had the same thought but its among them to decide when they grew old.."
