Hola we are back with the next chapter!!😃 Many of you had loads of questions about the previous chapter' though the reasons were to be revealed quite late in the story due to your continouous questioning I have tried to give you all the reasons in this update'.. read it!! :D it's a long one < 4 pages 😉>

Chapter five

Triiing the alarm went off signalling a new morning''..

For khushi it was nothing but another day of struggle''

About eight months ago she joint KR she was fresh into this fashion world eager to perform eager to make her mark in this new world

But right now she was downright exhausted'

She was tired of this world where she had to behave like an emotionless stone

She was tired of masking her true feelings and behaviour

She was tired of behaving like some one she wasn't'.

She was not the ruthless, mean, strict, selfish hard stone as she was seen in her office'..

She wondered how some people <read arnav> can remain like that through out their life?

But none the less she jumped out of bed'' in 15 minutes she was all ready skipping down the stairs

"bye deeps gotta go'" she said hurrily as she stuffed the laptop into her bag..

"arre khushi" deeps called out "atleast drink a cup of coffe na?" she said as she tried to put up a quick breakfast for her friend "please??" she asked

"no deeps I have to go now you know karan sir is coming today so'. I have to go bye'.." she said as she stepped into her shoes

"but why so early?" asked deeps as she took a moment out to check on the time 7:00? So early? Khushi usually goes to her office at 8:00 but now a days she leaves too early and comes back late ? something must be up! Though deeps

"ok take care" said deeps as she hugged her once

"oh god you are covered with aata you ruin my suit you know?" complained khushi as she pushed deeps away and gave her a friendly pat for a goodbye

"bye !! " khushi said as she stepped into her car'.

"bye" deeps said but in her mind she was totally debating whether she should be worried about khushi's behaviour'..

Meanwhile in the car'.

Khushi looked out of the window it was still dark no one on the roads the air smelt fresh''.

How she hoped to take the day off :\

She knew very well she could not'

"ramu" she called the driver'

"yes maam" he answered

"stop by this park" she orderd him

"ok maam" the obedient driver stopped in a matter of seconds

Khushi stepped out and took a deep breath

Ha! The smell of leaves she thought as she walked into the park'..

In the car the driver looked at her as she stood looking piercingly at the flower bed'.

Hmmm'. He thought why would such a busy person take some time off their busy schedule to stare sooo angrily at the plants?

Weird' he thought.. but this was not the only thing weird about his boss''..

The way she behaves in the office could make one feel like she is one robot with her "aims, targets," who wanted her "stuff completed no matter what the damn obstacles are" people would think she is a machine for whom only deals, money, time, punctuality, loyality and all those big stuff in fact he even heard the people in the office talk about her like this'..

But he knew she wasn't like that'' ramu may not be educated but he could definitely make out by khushi's behaviour that there was something that hurted her her past maybe? He thought'

As her looked up to see her strolling around the leafy path

Maybe something happened to her in the past''

Her family maybe'.. or her husband? Is she married? She is young'..

Anyways he snapped out he should not get tooo deep into these stuff he just knew that his boss was good no matter what they spoke behind her back

A few yards away khushi stood near the pond'. Watching the birds drink water'. And take flight'..

How she hoped she was free like them how she hoped she could fly back to the past to her family'' to aarav'.. to arn-

Triiing

Khushi shook off her thoughts in a minute to pick up the phone

"hallo yes pallavi!"

"hallo maam you know karan sir is coming today to check on the documents rite? Well'. I just stepped in and one of the employees has lost a key file for today's meeting!! Karan sir is not gonna be happy I searched every where you knw I searched.." pallavi freaked out on the phone!!

:I am coming just gimme a second ill come and check out k calm dawn pallavi we will do something'" said khushi as she rushed back the path

"ramu to the office " said khushi as she checked her phone 8:00 she had less that an hour before karan sir come'. Oh god!! This is gonna be one hectic day'..

Just a few minutes ago she was immerced into her joyful and peaceful past and now here she is in mean present a hard time' hmmph she frowned''

Soon she was in the middle of the office with files papers and all those stuff around her ordering people to do this and that and sometimes shouting at them

a normal day'''...

Meanwhile the person for whom the whole office was upside down' peacefully sipped his tea as he planned with his partners

"but karan I am not sure this is going to work'." Worried mr mehra'

"trust me!" karan persuaded him!! " you know we have been failing to clinch this deal since five seasons!! This is just another try !this is our only option! you must trust me mr mehra!!" he continued

" I dunno about this karan'. Let akshay come we will ask him'. For his opinion'." Mr mehra replied

Oh great! Thought karan' that guy always ruins my plan'..

"did you talk about me right now? I heard my name" exclaimed a joyful akshay as he dragged up a chair in the company of 4'.

"yeah akshay we needed your help'." Mr malothra explained'" you know we have the indian summer fashion festival next month'.. and if this time we don't clinch the deal we might as well pack our bags from the fashion industry'.. this deal is too important and karan has some weird strategy on putting this new girl to win us the deal you kidding first of all making her a director in one of our branch that too Bangalore does not make sense!above that now this!!" he fumed

"mr malhothra now why don't you listen to my part of the story?" karan said trying hard to control his anger'. He might be very kind and sweet but once he decides to do something he wont quit easily and he definitely wont be talked to like that!

"karan tell us the "PRO" part of this'." Waited akshay scarastically'

"well listen guys its time you know it'.you know I am not dumb enough to place a new comer as the director of our Bangalore branch!! You should know that there is a motive now listen'" he said pulling his chair closer to the table' he had his audience in full attention now'

"you know AR met with a lean patch a few months ago this is not because of that numbers they attributed it to it was because arnav singh raizada was not there to lead them he was not there because as I hear it his wife ran away or something like that and he was heart broken n all that emotional stuff so-"

"mr karan raichand we are no here to listen to celebrity gossip and all this does not matter to us if you will explain the nessicitated stuff that's enough!" mr malothra said

"listen'" karan went on'. "you know AR's weakness lies here'. And that wife who ran away'. She is here working for us KHUSHI SINGH RAIZADA! Our director! Do you realise we could use her as a pawn to get our deal?" he paused for a seond'

"but how?" asked akshay'

"well see I have been thinking about it'. I gave her the job so that when we were faced with such stuff we could you know'"

"use her??" mr mehra exclaimed "we cant do that'." Mr mehra exclaimed!

"no listen'. " karan started' "we could pitch her up against ASR you know' so far none of our directors have been successful in winning him over by words and the present one in delhi is of no use'. And I have observed khushi's work she is good actually!! The numbers are up ever since she took over she is working very well and she can win deals in the matter of seconds.. she has a good choice of words you know very clever'." Karan stated'.

"well if that's so we should consider her'. But there are obstacles you know on that matter'. For one do you think she will agree??" akshay wondered out loud

"ill take care of that" said karan " leave that to me'"

"and then do you think arnav singh raizada will melt for that? As far as what I know he is not the kind to' you know?" akshay asked..

"well he might you know no problem in trying and even if she was not his wife khushi is still our best choice for this deal'" karan replied

"ok then I guess we must allow karan to do what he thinks is right" akshay gave karan a thumbsup!

"if u say so then ok'." Mr mehra agreed on behalf of the others'. "but if we don't clinch the deal then mr karan'. You better not know the consequences'" with that the meeting was complete

Soon they all filed out'

While karan sat on the chair reflecting thoughtfully one part of this problem solved' he thought

How easy it is to fool these people' khushi will be harder but'. He just smiled at the next thought

I am working khushi you will definitely be mine very soon''...

and arnav my brother ill ruin you completely... persnol and professional life you are going down...
