Since I'm reading this again and getting the chills again as well, here I am with the comments:

This is what had originally caught my attention a long time ago, so much so that the images of Anjali flung onto the tree and Anrav's body sliding into a pool of red flash before my eyes. Excited to know where this is going to be included in the story.

Chapter 1:

Khushi Kumaari Gupta...turned Singh Raizada and now Jha; teh SKD part was what stood out. A girl having to be subjected to the amount of torture that Khushi has had to suffer is just too much.

But then it wouldn't be Shyam Mnohat Jha if he wouldn't be the ideal pati one moment and monster the next!

Chapter 2:

Nothing like a back story for our villain. The unhealthy attachment to his mother was understandable, his peeved attitude over Manohar Jha was expected...it was the last part of the flashback that had me riveted...making me go Shit! This is serious!😲

A perfect simile in the form of Shyam considering Khushi to be like his mother...

Chapter 3:

The letter...she did mention Shyam in the same didn't she? Did Shashi not catch onto it?😕

Best and better than the rest; a perfect way to describe Arnav's transition into a thorough workaholic. Good to see it through Aman's view point.

Garima perplexed me as well😕...reading on to find out what happens next.

Chapter 4:

Of Arnav finally considering Garima as a mother and Payal declaring war. It was indeed hypocritical of Akash to think that dabba service was ok when it was Khushi at the helm and it would be lowly for his own wife to indulge in something like that.

Khushi's pregnant? But the visit at the doctors made me wonder if she's free enough to go to the doctor then why not go back to RM? Or even the police for that matter? What string is Shyam holding onto?

And then Shyam and Anjali moving out along with Nani...to Dehradun maybe?

P.S. It was weird of Manorama to think that her daughter in law was weak enough to not handle something like a dabba business.

Chapter 5:

I heard the slap that resonated in Manorama's mind when Payal said that she allowed her loved ones to give her nicknames; this transformation in Payal is a big thumbs up!

And so the excerpt was a dream...a recurring one though?🤔

And now I'm super confused. On one hand she's been to the doctor for an abortion and then the flashback reveals that he caused the miscarriage?😕

Also interesting was Aman's turmoil over betraying his boss for money; I guess loyalty won in the end?

Would I be boorish or brutally honest if I say Akash is puerile over here? First the snicker over dabba service and now the jealousy over his mother and wife's relationship?😲

Chapter 7:

Oh so...this was damn interesting; never had thought NK to have remained second fiddle all through his life and that it had affected him to no extent. But then I wouldn't agree with him when it comes to Khushi; for Khushi was never his, was she? His thoughts at the end were well put...remaining alert, finding comfort in the fact that he'd gained two friends.

Chapter 8:

Oh yeah...we all know that Aksh is a chauvinist, indulging in bigotry to the hilt. I think his need to have a wife who would have to depend on him comes from the fact that he is the one who has had to be the yes man for everyone else.

Ah so the glass analogy finally shows its presence; a different back story for the siblings but it doesn't explain Anjali's blind faith in Shyam. with what she has witnessed and her trepidation around her Chachaji she should have been the one who should have caught on to Shyam right?

Chapter 9:

The past of Akash does justify to some extent about his need to excel in everything so I'm guessing my earlier comment about Akash forever listening to Arnav. We haven't seen much interaction between them, have we?
