Rey stopped shocked, trying to think if he had heard her right

Taani - It's over, job hi hamarai beech mai tha, khatam ho gya hai

Rey felt a pang in his chest. You know the feeling, where you feel you're falling and can't stop? That feeling where you feel like 3000 million rocks have been thrown at you but you're too numb to get hurt? Yeah, that's how Rey felt

Rey - What do you mean it's over?

Taani - Rey, mai ek aase relationship mai nahi rai sakthi, ja per mera hi boyfriend mere her move per question oothai. Ja per mera boyfriend mujhe cheezo kai liye accuse kare. So I'm done here.

Rey - No taani listen, miscommunications aur misunderstandings to her relationship mai hoti hai, par iska matlab yeh thori hai ki woh break up karle

Taani - Ha Rey hoti hai miscommunications aur misunderstandings, per hamari relationship mai itni misunderstandings hai ki hum 2 seconds kai liye bhi eksate kush hi nahi hai

Rey - per mai tumharai sath bilkul kush ho. Taani I love you aur tumhe to yeh pata hai na. You complete me, tum nahi to kuch nahi

Taani - Rey, I'm sure you love me aur mai bhi aapse pyaar karti ho but mai ek asi relationship mai nahi reh sakti sorry

Taani ran out of the room before her heart persuaded her to tell him she was joking. Rey stood there motionlessly like he had just seen a ghost. Swayam was walking by the classroom when he saw Rey just standing there

Swayam to himself - yeh Rey kya kar raha hai?

Swayam walked into the classroom and shook his shoulders

Swayam - Rey, Rey

Rey felt the movement and came out of the trance. The last few seconds of his life came rushing back to his head. Rey fell to the ground onto his knees, and the tears that minutes ago were daring to come out where now full on flowing down his cheeks. Swayam saw his best friend's reaction and instantly got worried and scared. He crouched down beside Rey

Swayam - Rey what's wrong? Kya hua Rey? Bol na

Rey turned to Swayam and hugged him

Rey - I, I lost her Swayam, maine use hamesha kai liye kho diya. Aur yeh bas just because mai use samajh nahi paya.

Swayam got confused as per who Rey was talking about.

Swayam - Who left Rey? Kisko kho diya tune?

Rey let go of Swayam and said

Rey - Taani ko, maine apne Taani ko kho diya

Swayam was shocked. He didn't think that things would become this bad. He felt angry at his sister. First, for insulting Sharon and now for breaking his best friend's heart.

Swayam - laykin hua kya?

Rey explained his and Taani's conversation to Swayam.

Swayam - Don't worry Rey, I'm sure Taani nai bas moment mai ake kaha ho ga. You know she loves you na.

Rey - Nahi Swayam, yai sab mere galti, shayad agar maine use samajne ki koshish ki hoti, to aj woh muje chor kai nahi jati

Swayam - Don't worry,aisa kar tu aj mere ghar aja. Mai puri gang ko bi bulaloga aur phir hum sab tera aur Taani ka patch up karaigai okay?

Rey nodded wiping away his tears and desperately waiting for the evening. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Side Note - I will not being continuing Taayam OS and Taarey OS hence the fact that they are one shots.

Also, I wanted your opinion on something, should I set up an index now since I have about 5 pieces of writing out or should I wait a little longer ?

In the evening the whole gang gathered at TaaYam's house before Taani got home.

Swayam - ok, I know you guys don't like Taani much right now, but you guys like Rey right?

Gang (except Rey) - Ha

Swayam - and Rey loves who?

Gang (except Rey) - Taani

Swayam - okay so now that, that is clear. We have to get Rey and Taani back together or our Rey will forever be a dukhi aatma.

The gang laughed but when they turned their attention to Rey, their smiles disappeared. Rey was staring off into space. They heard the doorbell ring and Swayam got up to open the door.

Taani - Hi

Swayam nodded his head and moved to the side. Taani walked in but stopped when she saw the whole gang sitting there. Her eyes automatically searched for Rey and when they found him, a sense of relief took over her. Rey who had known it was Taani who had come in, stood up. Taani put on a smile and started with the fake attitude.

Taani - Oh good, all of you are here. I just wanted to say that since Sharon had resigned as the CS, if any of you would like to put your name up for CS, you can tell the AGS. Also, tomorrow morning I expect all of you to be in the rehearsal hall, practicing for NDC. I will be there to judge the performance. And before any of you say anything, please cut the "you're a non dancer" bullshit. I know what dance is and I can easily say if a performance is good or bad but judging on how you guys have been practicing looks like there's going to be a lot of criticism.

The gang was blown away. They couldn't believe this was the same sweet, quiet Taani who used to understand everyone's situation. Swayam couldn't help but feel a little hurt with the fact that his sister didn't believe in his team.

Swayam - Taani, I know you're the GS but how can you say these things as my sister.

Taani smiled and walked up to Swayam. She brushed her hands on his shoulder pretending as if she was cleaning something.

Taani - Apne personal aur professional life ko separate karna sikhlo Swayam, long run mai better hoga.

Taani patted his shoulder and looked at Sharon before turning around to walk away. Swayam was stunned. Had she not only told him off, she had called him by his name too.

Rey - Taani, woh mujhe tumse baat karne thi

Taani turned around - ha bolo

Rey - woh actually mujhe sorry bolna tha

Taani - kiskeliye ?

Rey - woh mai tumhe samajh nah-

Taani - Rey, purani bato ko present mai lakar koi fida nahi. In sab bato kai liye mere pas time nahi per agar koi professional bat hai to bolo.

Taani turned around again and started walking leaving behind a frowning Rey. When she got to her bedroom, she turned around.

Taani - aur ha swayam, apne friends sai bolna agar mere bare mai kuch bolna ho to either ghar sai bhar jaake bolai yeh phir dhimi awaz mai bhat kare quki agar maine sunliya to pata nahi college mai kya hojaye.

Taani walked into her room and closed the door. The gang stood there paralyzed for a moment not being able to digest what had just happened. Rey sighed and started walking towards the door slowly. He opened the door and left without saying anything.

Vicky - Arey I don't understand yeh Taani ko hua kya hai? Aise kyun behave kar rahi hai?

Simmi - Hey, guys I think I know why
