K - I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, more as a woman and no complaints about not having much of Arnav Khushi. You truly gave a glimpse into how mature and strong woman can be. Be it Indira, Khushi or Lavanya.

I think Indira is probably the strongest character in this story.

Oh! I feel so much for her; Her turmoil, her fight with her heart and mind, love and dislike for Arjun, a hope for a better future with her reformed husband and guilt of unfairness towards victims of her husband's cruelty. It's not easy to be sane with so many storms inside you and fighting so battles at the same time.

I have so much respect for Indira and her maturity really amazes me. She is a very content, confident and intelligent woman. Come to think of it, anybody in her position will be jealous of Khushi and Arnav's relationship, given how shallow her marriage is. But here she stands by Khushi, loves Khushi and never misses and opportunity to tease Khushi and remind Arnav how lucky he is. She never shies away from praising Khushi and letting her take the lead.

Indira and Khushi's strong bonding is very touching. They have a very special relationship of friendship, of sisters and of hearts. They know and understand each other without saying in so many words.

Khushi has as the ability to crack through anyone irrespective of the masks they put on and the layers of personality. If her heart is filled with overwhelming love, her mind is full of tactics, which is a dangerous combination.

It's heartwarming to see how Vajpayee and Raizada families function like a well oiled machine. It's always them against the world. Each one of them is a type A personality, have strong opinions, some conflicting, have strong likes and dislikes, there are lot of disagreements but in the time of trouble they all stand together and do the right thing forgetting their differences.

I always sympathized with Lavanya and glad she sees the change in Suraj and a ray of hope!!

Oh! Please give us more of PAAGAL Khushi and her PAAGAL husband!!😳

Liked khushi today who supported her Indira Bhabhi and assured her about that...feeling bad for lavanya...Nice chapter

Somehow, I had missed this update (Chapter 71) as it was in the new thread and then I was away. Anyway I got it.

For Arnav when Khushi is around his mind seem to be always in two levels. Though assimilating whatever she talks subconsciously his mind seems to be dwelling on lascivious thoughts and he is an epitome of slave to his libido. Since it is his wife and a wife who too has the same licentious thoughts of him after getting used to his ways it is fine. I just can't imagine. Arnav- Sheetal pairing! Though Arnav tries to rile Khushi invoking Sheetal's name! One thing though Khushi is sure of is Arnav is not turned on with anyone other than her. She is worried about the predatory instincts of the other females including Sheetal of putting Arnav in a fix. With so many scandals prevailing around, none of them want anymore added to it! Like the way Arnav melts down Khushi's anger with just parrotting whatever she was talking making her understand that he was giving his attention to her with a part of his mind even though his eyes and mind (major portion) was involved in visually feasting on her and imagining how he could feast on her physically! What dedication!

One thing Arnav has not got correct is Suraj not consenting easily for Lavanya to join with Khushi. Arnav who doesn't want to let Khushi go away from the bed is alert and ready to do anything with the name of KBV brought in. How much he looks upon this man! Somehow he( KBV) is one who has my admiration too! A truly a statesman. Kalyaani you know he had and has always reminded me of his namesake ABV the honorable ex-PM. Looks like you have modeled this character based on him!

The much awaited meet has finally taken place! Liked the way KBV made Suraj welcome and the way Suraj unconsciously greeted him by touching his feet! Even while blessing him he gives Suraj the choicest of it - Happiness that had eluded him so far and when he voices it out KBV tells him everything depends on the each person's perspective. Suraj is surprised to see how well KBV knows his taste and expresses it. It showed a new facet of KBV to him and it reinforced what his nanny had told him about KBV, that he always took care of him discreetly. Suraj too comes out with what had been plaguing his mind rejection of his proposal for Khushi's hand in marriage. Once he realizes there was nothing personal and only Arnav had the chance to seek her hand he is relaxed.

Suraj posing the relevant question, "Why did you not tell me before?" KBV confirms to him that he was always wanted and it was his mother's decision to cut off and thereby spoil not only her life but also Suraj's. She took wrong steps and made Suraj too tread the same path. But KBV had ensured that nothing drastic happened in his life.

The final nail in the coffin was the call from Khan telling him the plans of Vijayendra planning tax raid on Sheetal's father to extract more money for the elections! "Dowry extraction in a unique way" and "I am as aware as you are about the things that happen in our world, Suraj" are extremely significant! Both the sentences are loaded! Whether Suraj makes out the hidden meaning or takes it at face value is yet to be seen. But KBV has sown the seed of doubt in Suraj's mind on Vijayendra's intentions. He has nothing to doubt KBV who has always been his supporter discreetly which he now knows on retrospection. KBV has done this not only to safeguard his family but even Suraj who is a part of it too. As he knows Vijayendra would not hesitate to throw Suraj to dogs if he finds him an encumbarance or of no use anymore.

Once again I have gone bonkers to comment so much. But what to do ? what you write has so much stuff and my fingers won't stop typing until I write fully!

If I write I loved this update it is just unnecessary as it is obvious!
