Brilliant update. Loved the conversation between Khushi and Sammy.

"In fact, he never even cared enough to try to sneak around with anyone before! He must be really into you!" & then after a brief pause, she whispered to Khushi, "& I think, you're really into him too, right?". What an observation power Sammy possess, within few hours she could figure out Arnav and Khushi's relationship which was kept under wrap from all the other family members.. she was able to recognise that Arnav does feel something special for Khushi. She has known Arnav very well.

"Yeah, right! Have you spent 5 minutes with him? What's with all the 'What the-?'s, & the shouting, & the 'get out's & the grabbing & pushing.."But Samiya cut her off with a kind of shaky laughter in her voice, "You know, I think he had reserved the 'get out's & the grabbing & pushing exclusively for you.. Yeah, I know, it's as easy as breathing falling for him, isn't it?"

Call the shots, set the pace you want it to progress at. Don't give in without a fight, Khushi. If you fight, you can go all the way.. I have seen it in his eyes! Don't let him escape when the going gets tough & it all gets too deep & tangled for him, cause he will try! If it was left to him, trust me, by the time you guys reach the mandap, you'd both be walking with the aid of walking sticks!". Sammy is so mature, she is advising Khushi on how to go about taking the responsibility of the relationship on her, fight against him if need be.. she told her how to live with or be with Arnav. She had found out that her first love can never be hers but still she wanted him to live a happy life.. and she has a true friend did take steps to make Khushi move one step closer to Arnav...Waiting for the next update.

thank God i found the link to this thread in the previous one.

loved the update.

and i love the pace of this story, i love the scenes between arnav and khushi which are step by step laying the foundation of their relationship.even if nothing is taking the story forward(which i dont think is true coz the thing that they have going between them is certainly moving ahead), the nok jhok is very cute and all the parts are giving insight into the characters.

its just my opinion guys that i want to convey to the author, those who think the pace is not right please dont be offended.i love everything about this story and dont want the author to change the style in this story at least, she may experiment in her other works :)

Oh oh my heart broke for Samiya! She's been so patient and trusting for so long! And she does love Arnav so. I could feel her heart breaking as she was talking to Khushi. Sometimes, as readers and viewers of the show, we get so caught up in Arnav and Khushi that we forget about peripheral characters-- who might be hurt tremendously by them. Lavanya on the show, and now Samiya in SAY.

I still love Arnav and Khushi of course, and want them to be together hamesha, but my heart goes out to Samiya. She seems like a genuinely nice person and she deserves better. I don't usually ask authors for specific scenes or anything, preferring to listen to what the author has to say, but just this once I'm going to make an exception and ask you-- won't you let Samiya have her happy ending too?

And she's so intelligent and perceptive too! her advice to Khushi was spot on.

You ramanchi-ed us. I swear. You can't just use the title track in an alternate-universe story! How is anyone supposed to guess right?

Uh-oh! You say there's a storm coming? *hides* I get as emotionally overwrought as the characters themselves when things get ugly in a show/fic.

My heart goes to Samiya here..She had been dreaming about her love story with Arnav all her life..She thought that she will be the girl for him and he will realize it one day but now she saw him with Khushi and realized that Khushi is important to him..I feel bad for her..I hope she finds her prince soon :D

But yeah her entry now makes perfect sense to me..Now she is only person except Khushi who noticed his love..Khushi did need some assurance that she was right about his feelings..

She needed someone to tell her about Arnav and here Samiya is that person..

and I loved how u used that dialogue from the sangeet here...

What an update...wonderfull...
Loved the way Samiya is explianing Arnav's mind set and his behavior..
Hope these 2 stay strong when the time comes for them to fight
