"I did a lot of assignments when I was in college. And now I do this once in a while whenever I feel like it."

The client told Aishwarya, "I like your work. My idea is for you to work with Prithvi."

Aishwarya groaned inwardly. She looked at Arnav for help.🤔"Don't you think it would be better if Kingston worked with Prithvi?" Arnav asked him.

Everybody dispersed. Aishwarya was the last one to leave. Before leaving, she saw Prithvi thanking the client.

Arnav asked Akash to take the client to the conference room and then went to talk with Aishwarya.

She switched on the little lamp in one end of the room near the laptop with the projector. She powered on the laptop and waited for it to start. The door opened again and Prithvi walked in.

She groaned. "Why can't you leave me alone?"

"I am offended," he said with an upset look.

He occupied the chair next to her and watched her look at all the photographs.

"You are pretty good," he told her.

"Thanks."

"But not the best. The best photos that I have come across are in my hotel. There are two in every room excluding the reception and my private office. Maybe you can get a few tips from the photographer."

"Are you by any chance talking about the Taj Mahal in your reception?"

"Of course," he said with pride.

"I can take better photographs than that."

"No, you are just jealous that I am appreciating someone else."

"No kidding, Mr. Khanna. Did you even notice that in the bottom, the reflection of the camera is clearly visible in the water?"

He sat back on the chair and thought about it.

"That's what I thought," she said with a smirk. "You didn't notice it, did you?"

"Nobody else noticed it either. How did you?"

"This is my profession. I can see what you can't."

She took a Dairy Milk from her bag and chewed it.

"Doesn't your boss give you a break? Is he that much of an evil guy?"

She glared at him and said, "Excuse me. Mind your language. You are talking about my boss here."

"I knew you never let anybody talk about your brother. When did Arnav join the list?"

"That's none of your business."

He raised his hands and said, "I'll surrender." After a second, he asked, "How is your brother?"

She groaned and asked, "You never give up, do you?"

He shook his head. "Nope."

"Remind me again, Mr. Khanna. Why are you torturing me like this?" she asked in exasperation.

He made a face and said, "I hate it when you call me Mr. Khanna. But to answer your question, I like you."

"But I don't. I am not a big fan of playboys like you."

He turned away to hide the hurt expression. "I am not like that anymore."

"I am sorry but I don't really trust you."

"Why won't you give me a chance to prove that I am not the same person?"

"I am sorry. I am not ready for that."

He let out a sigh and asked, "Does this have something to do with your parents? You don't speak about them and I thought..."

"You are crossing your limits, Prithvi. Stay out of where you are not wanted."

He smiled. "Well, I atleast got you to call me by my name." He squeezed her hand and said, "I'll see you later. Bye."

After he left, she covered her face with her hands and said, "Men are jerks."

"All men don't fall in that category," a voice said.

She literally jumped out of her skin. A light flickered on in the other end of the room and she saw Arnav.

"When did you come in, Sir?" she asked him.

"A long time before you came in. This place was silent and I was talking with Khushi until you came in."

"Oh my...! Does that mean you listened to everything?"

"Fortunately... unfortunately... Yes. I am not going to ask you how you two know each other. I'll save that question for later."

"Thank you."
