With Vani and other writer's works been plagiarized the other day I'm Very worried about my works. ( which is one of the reasons why I'm stopping writing after my next FF)

Totally! I completely agree that prevention is better than cure...hence the need for a NO COPY code for all pages...even if they don't do anything else if only they agreed to that...😕

Recently I've been trying to find a way round this plagiarism business and the NO COPY code that admins aren't able to fix. 😔

I've figured OS's are safe from plagiarism becuase their on the first page anyways, but SS& FF are difficult to protect. For one of my FF's ( completed) I tried transferring the chapters to the first page but I go over the text limit for one post. :(

Without the NO COPY code for every page ( Not just for the first page) people who plagiarize will have a better upper hand than the actual writers.

MY ONLY DEMAND!!!: A working NO COPY code. :(

Nope, even OS's aren't secure, as my OS's were copied.

There are so many glitches in this code that it pisses me off that hardly anything has been done about it for years now!

I think, two points should be implemented ASAP -

1. A more secure NOCOPY option on every page.

2. Banning the IP Address of the plagiarisers and not merely the IF account.


I appreciate the stricter regulations put up by the IF-team but they also need to realise that writers still don't feel secure in putting their works of IF. I think the admin and dev-team should work towards creating a safer environment for writers and thereby, their readers too.

I TOTALLY SUPPORT THE CAUSE. WE ARE THERE WITH ALL THE WRITERS.

Its really saddening to hear about so many stories being plagiarised. I get to read that the hard works of so many writers is being copied and claimed by someone else. Its unethical and we have to stop that.
I joined IF in mid 2012 all thanks to IPKKND when someone told me about a FF on twitter and from that day I'm hooked on here. But being late, there are so many beautiful stories I haven't read and even after getting to know about them I still can't thanks to writers removing their work from IF.

There has to be more strict rules & I completely agree with the demand of banning IP addresses because if the plagiarists were a bit moral they won't plagiarise some's work & claim it as theirs.

I fully support your initiative to fight against plagiarism.
