Just loved the manner in which you have reprised another lovable scene from the show, the mind-games anjali and nani played on arnav to gauge his feelings for khushi. mami being their able co-conspirator just adds to the fun! The three ladies trying to divert nk from daydreaming about khushi was plain funny: first telling that she's soon to get engaged and then telling him that hp has a new packet of chips for him [it's like distracting and leading away a cute puppy with some treat / food]… never knew that chips could serve as an easy substitute for khushi! nk's questions about bangles and elephants are cute, though at the same time making one clutch one's head in despair at his mangling of the Hindi language!

Have always wanted to read of arnav's reaction to the news that khushi is getting proposals from other families… Smita, thank you for making this wish come true! For a minute, thought that, like in the show, the raizada ladies would pretend to think of hitching nk and khushi together, but glad I was wrong… loved the accompanying photos that have caught the gamut of emotions running across arnav's face: curiosity - fear losing khushi - anger and possessiveness- joy and relief - shyness – hurt and fear. Arnav nodded, shy but not wanting them to know that he was shy… for some reason was really moved by this line and the image that rose to my mind of an arnav trying not to blush… though an adorable image, it contains an underlying sense of melancholy… Arnav clenched his fists. He had to exercise all his self-control to keep silent… a jealous arnav forced to curb his jealousy has always made me want to chuckle and rub my hands in glee! It was sheer fun to note all the warnings the ladies were giving arnav… shows how much they love khushi and don't want her to be hurt! They know arnav's highly unpredictable nature, which makes him prone to quicksilver changes of mind! khushi is likely to change her mind only if and when he admits his love for her… no longer can he rely on just his actions speaking louder than words... she's been down that road once, only to be left heartbroken! For a change, it's nice to see a hesitant and nervous arnav, unsure of what the future has in store for him, as opposed to the self-confident and arrogant asr who charts his own destiny!
