truly emotional! felt for arnav when he revealed his pain-filled past with the words, "I know what I don't want." looks like her question had made him think long and deep about hisa priorities in life! way to go, khushi! khushi's didn't pity him but empathised with him at his loss... her 'sorry' is more meaningful than a commonplace condolence! just loved the gentle manner in which she put his dad's feelings and suicide in perspective... what beautiful imagery: The rain poured down heavily on the parched soil, bringing relief with it, flooding the earth, quenching its thirst... these lines made me equate khushi and her compassion / love to the rain, quenching the yearning in arnav's lonely soul [the earth]!

nice to see khushi taking a step back and taking a pragmatic view of things, thus showing arnav the light at the end of the tunnel... no wonder then that arnav's thanks comes straight from his heart... Smita, kudos to you for ending on a humorous note, much needed after the painful recollections and arnav's realisation that he might have been wrongfully blaming his innocent father [he could get bogged down by guilt]: A ghost of a smile flitted on his lips. "I said Thank you, Khushi." "I thought I had imagined it.", she was moved into blurting it out. The smile widened. Khushi added, smiling, "Imagine the great Arnav Singh Raizada thanking me, Khushi Kumari Gupta, for scolding him! He Devi Maiyya, your maya is beyond my understanding!" 😆 khushi's innocence and childlike frankness are very refreshing and endearing! can't wait to learn what arnav digs up about his past!
