Khushi : She started to faint when jiji and jejjaji came. They told me to stay back and took her to the hospital.
Arnav : okay come. Lets go to the hospital. Akash told me to pick up you.
Khushi : Arnav, before you come only jeejaji called.
Arnav : so, come.
Khushi : no need, all are coming here.( tears escaped from her eyes)
Arnav : and aunty?
Khushi : dead. Arnav , amma is dead.(cried).
Arnav was shocked and sat on the bed next to Khushi. Tears escaped from his eyes seeing Khushi.
Arnav : Khushi.. ( holded her hand to comfort her)
Khushi cried more pressing his hand. When Akash and Payal came.
Arnav : Khushi.. They came.
Khushi : no Arnav, I won't come out. I can't see my mother like this. No Arnav.
Arnav comforted her and pulled her out. All the neighbour and relative came to their house. At night the took away Garima. All the relatives went. Akash, Aaradana, Payal, Arnav and Khushi were there in home. All were sitting in sofa. Arnav and Akash in the dining table.
Next day morning, Arnav got up. He saw Khushi alone sleeping. He kept quite for few minutes. He wash is face and came when he saw squatting on the sofa.
Arnav : ( mind ) what happen to her. Still sleeping.
He went near and shook her shoulder. Khushi fell on Arnav's arms. Arnav got tensed. He called Payal to bring some water and sprinkled on her face when Khushi got up.
Arnav : Khushi, are you okay?
Khushi : yes.
Arnav : I told you to eat properly na.
Khushi : yes, but now you can't complain to my mother.
Arnav : what? ( he remembered the day when he teased Khushi for not eating).
Khushi started to cry.
Arnav : please, don't cry Khushi.
Khushi wiped her tears and went to wash her face.
Khushi : ma, hungry.
Arnav and others turned towards Khushi. Tears again. She quickly wiped. Payal brought the food and gave it to her.
Khushi : no di. I don't want.
Arnav looked at her. She took the plate but didn't eat. Arnav came sat beside her and fed the food. Khushi ate and was very silent. After an hour.
Arnav : Khushi, get ready.
Khushi : where??
Arnav : to house.
Khushi : Arnav no problem. I will be here.
Payal : Khushi, it is not safe. Please come.
Khushi : no di.
Payal : Arnav, you all go I will be with Khushi.
Aaradana : okay. Take care.
Next one week passed.
Khushi : di, I am moving to hostel today evening.
Payal : but Khushi.
Khushi : what ??
Payal : but why are you going. I am with you na.
Khushi : don't lie di.
Payal : no Khushi.
Khushi : how many days will you be with me 2 years ?? 3 years ?? You can't di.You want to go and be with jeejaji. I know it di. And jeejaji wants you to be there. with him. I don't want to be a disturbance for your family.
Payal : but you can come there na.
Khushi : I don't want to be a burden to anyone. Please di, I am going to hostel.
Arnav and Akash entered with Aaradana. Khushi welcomed with a smile.
Arnav : Khushi is right bhabhi, you can't be without bai. But, ma.
Aaradana nodded.
Arnav : bhabhi with your permission, can i will marry Khushi. And then take her to our home.
Payal : (nodded) okay.
Arnav : (was surprised) really.
Akash : yes.
Arnav smiled. But one with confusion. It was Khushi. She had 2 doubts one,.whether Arnav is marrying her because he love her or because I lost my mother in sympathy. Next was Payal and Akash agreed to him easily, what she thought it would be difficult.
Arnav : bye Khushi.( and saw Khushi)
Khushi : bye (faked a smile in confusion).
Days passed.
It was their engagement day , arranged I a hotel with their relatives and friends. Both Arnav and Khushi were standing beside seeing each other.
Arnav : Khushi, you look so beautiful. Is it real.
Khushi beat on his chest and blushed.
Arnav : just for fun. You look always beautiful.
Time came when they both slipped their rings in each other's hand. Khushi blushed and Arnav smiled at her.
After a few minutes of chit chat all went.
Arnav : bai, i will drop Khushi. After that you go and drop bhabhi.
Akash : (smiling) okay.. okay...
Arnav : bye. Khushi, come lets go.
Khushi : di.
Arnav : chup! Come with me.
Khushi : Arnav...
Arnav dragged her and went. They reached there. While coming in the car Khushi was thinking to asked whether he loved her but something struck her and she didn't ask. Both reached and came inside the house.
Arnav : Khushi, I will be here till payal. Comes.
Khushi : oh!! Okay. ( Khushi in thoughts )
Arnav smirked and came near Khushi.
Khushi ( knowing about him very well) Arnav you go. Aunty will be waiting.
Arnav : aunty won't. I will be here.
Khushi pulled him catching his collar a bit and pushed to go.
Arnav : bye.
Khushi : bye.
After few minutes Payal came and knocked. Khushi came and opened. She was surprised to see Arnav standing outside.
Payal : come in Arnav.
Arnav enter.
Khushi whispered in his hears : Arnav, you didn't go.
Arnav : no Khushi, I saw heard some theft happen in next street. That's why.
Khushi : you were waiting. thanks Arnav.
Arnav : okay. bye.
Days passed again.
It was mehandi day when Arnav saw Khushi in a red green dress. He was standing near a room.
Mehandi lady : Your fiance name.
Khushi : (blushed) Arnav.
She took a move after the mehandi when she passed a room a cool air blow.
She stop and peeped into the room when two hands dragged her inside the room.
Arnav : Khushi.
Khushi opened her eyes.
Khushi: Arnav.
Arnav : I want to ask you one thing.
Khushi : what.
Arnav : why did you blushed when you said my name.
Khushi again blushed. Arnav showed something. Khushi looked at it. It was a mirror which showed her blushing face.
Arnav : red, no crimson. Both.
Khushi : no, the name Arnav.
Khushi : (mind) can I ask Arnav.
Arnav : (whispered in her ears), bye.
Arnav went. While Khushi was confused. If he didn't love her, why is he talking and caring like this for her.
Khushi : (mind) so he loves me, but ...confusing...
After a few minutes all went while Arnav was watching the business channel. While the lady anchor turned to Khushi, Arnav was staring at the tv when Akash came.
Akash :( mind ) why is Arnav staring at the tv.
Akash : Arnav,(no response), Arnav ( a bit loud)
Arnav shook his head.
Akash : back on earth.??
Arnav nodded. Akash smiled.
While Khushi was in a confusion.
Payal : Khushi, Salman khan movie.
Khushi : what.
She ran and sat before the tv when Salman khan changed to Arnav and heroine changed to Khushi. Khushi was looking at the tv without even blinking her eyes. After the movie finished,
Payal : Khushi, you watched Salman khan movie its okay. But you finished all the jelabis. and for me???
Khushi : was it a Salman khan movie??
Payal mouth was wide open with Khushi's question.
Khushi : I am feeling sleepy. Good night.
