Part 1

HER TINKY, HIS DI

HOPE ORPHANAGE

It's early in the morning. All the kids or shall I say little angels woke up and made a line to go inside the chapel for Morning Prayer. Hope orphanage have a chapel for the kids and the other staff to come and pray whenever they need. Every morning at sharp 6; 30 am the prayer starts followed by breakfast. It's not only an orphanage but many old people who were thrown out from their dear ones stay there. It's a happy home giving children to the barren, parents to orphans. Love spreads everywhere..The kids stood in the line without pushing and pulling each other..The line moved on and they heard the chorus

I once was lost, but now I'm found, Was blind, but now I see

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear

And grace my fears relieved, How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed

All the kids joined their little tiny hands in prayer singing it peacefully giving all their burdens to the lord..But one naughty angel kept her eyes open looking around searching for someone. Immediately she poked the next girl and her eyes opened wide..

She whispered to the other girl

"Nimmy, where is didi?"

Nimmy: (looking around) don't know tinky..

Nimmy poked the girl behind her and whispered the same thing'the whispers soon spread in to mumbles and giggles..They began looking for someone. Some kids opened their eyes searching, some whispered among themselves and some naughty angels giggled'suddenly they heard a big voice

"Shhh "

The kids became instantly silent and their eyes closed. Of course it's the voice of their Hitler warden. She is the one and only strict and emotionally challenged women in the whole orphanage. She is good at heart but she feels that being strict and emotionless will gain respect. She is none another than MADHUMATI. She is a widow and later she was brought to hope orphanage. After recovering from her illness she took up the in charge of the kids.

Tinky slightly opened one of her cute eyelids to check whether anybody had their eyes opened'the coast is clear, the songs were sung and the ending prayer was going on. But tinky didn't bother her surroundings. She slowly tip toed the hall with still her hands folded and one eye opened. She searched for her pyaari didi. But no sign of her. She slowly took small lil steps further.

Suddenly her back crashed with a strong body. Well, she who that can be. She turned back in slow motion and saw the bloodshot eyes looking at her with big sodabuddi specs. She muttered

Tinky: tinky ki bachi, you are dead'Hitler madhumati caught you. You are dead.

Tinky took a glance over the hall. All kids were staring her. To her bad luck her didi and mother head were not there. She threw an innocent smile at MADHU making a puppy face. But no reaction. She again looked around and thought the song was still going one. She sang loudly "AMAGGING GRACE HOW CHWEET THE SOUND'.THAT CHAVED A WRETCH LIKE YOU'."

MADHU shot her angry eye that's when tinky realized what she sang. All the kids were laughing . MADHU raised her hand to spank tinky but tinky escaped running from there madhu ran back of her outside the chapel.

Tinky: buaji I'm sorry'.

Madhu: wait tinky, you can't escape from me today.

Tinky ran and ran finally her tiny legs gave up. Even madhu was tired of running. Tinky thought of escaping again but Madhu caught hold of her. madhu's grip grew strong that made tinky's eyes wet unknowingly. She dragged tinky but she resisted to go with her.

Madhu: tinky, come with me.

Tinky: no buaji, I know you will beat me..I won't come. Please leave me I'm so sorry

Madhu understood tinky's not gonna listen, she raised her hand to beat her when a hand stopped her. Tinky closed her eyes tightly ready for the slap. She did not feel any pain. She opened her eyes when she saw her didi

Tinky: kushi didi!!! (She squealed)

Madhu: kushi, leave my hand. Because of you she is spoiling. Do you know what did she do in the chapel??

Kushi: I know buaji, she is saying sorry na.please leave her for the one last time.

Madhu: I'm hearing these dialogues from the past 5years.im fed up kusi.

Kushi: please buaji. I said I'm sorry naa.

Tinky interrupted.

Tinky: why you should say sorry becoz of me didi'come buaji beat me.

Tinky put forward her hand with her eyes tightly closed which made madhumati tongue tied. She slowly left that place.

Kushi: (with hands on her waist) open you r eyes tinky, buaji left long back.

Tinky: why are you looking angry didi?? Now you will also beat me? (She asked cutely)

Kushi smiled lovingly and hugged her tightly.

Kushi: why will I be angry on my little angel??

Tinky smiled back and placed a wet kiss on her cheek and said

Tinky: I know didi you love me so much. I too love you didi.

Kushi hugged her again and caressed her hair. The duo pulled back

Kushi: tinky, how many times I told you not to disturb prayer. See buaji got so much of anger. Even god will feel bad naa that you are not giving attention to him?

Tinky: I know did, but I was searching for you. Why didn't you come to the Morning Prayer?

Kushi: Esther ma (mother head) went to Lucknow for some meeting. I went to drop her at the railway station.

Tinky: when will she come back didi miss her so much

Kushi: may be a week or two tinky.

Their conversation was going on when they heard buaji shout

Buaji: aree tinky, come fast you need to get ready for school.

Kushi and tinky walked together to the dormitory to get their clothes and ready for school.

RAIZADA MANSION.

Its morning and anjali grabbed her thali for puja..She is the loving sister of arnav and pampered daughter of the house. She is 5months pregnant. Her husband shyam manohar jha ditched her for another filthy rich woman leaving a shattered anjali behind. By the grace of god she has a hope in her life that is her baby. The whole raizada parivaar are eagerly waiting for their raajkumari.

After her puja anjali went to her chote's room to wake him up. He saw her brother lying on the bed facing his butt. No matter how much cruel he is to the world, for her he is always her Chote. She smiled looking at her cute sleeping brother.

Anjali: Chote, get up. It's already 8am in the morning.

Arnav got up yawning in which he looked so cute. Anjali looked at her brother lovingly.

Arnav: good morning di! Why are you looking at me like that?

Anji smiled and pulled his cheeks.

Arnav: oh don't do that di. I'm not a kid.

Anjali: but Chote you look so cute when you are asleep and post sleepy mood.

Arnav made a serious face which made anji giggle

Anjali: acha teeke. Get ready breakfast is waiting for you

Arnav: di how many times I told you not to do any works. You know you are carrying. It's not good to work more di.

Anjali: relax Chote I'm fine. I won't get sick if I make breakfast for my Chote.

Arnav took di hand in his and held it to his heart.

Arnav: please take care di. If anything happens to you, there will be no meaning in my life di.

Anjali giggled and replied

Anjali: wow Chote kya dialog maardiya but save some. Because you need to say more than this dialog to the girl who comes in your life.

Arnav: not again di.

Anjali: acha baba. Nothing will happen to me Chote. I will never leave you..

Arnav and anjali had tears in their eyes. They lost their parents when they were so young. They were thrown out of their ancestral home. But their nani took to her home and raised them up. From that time arnav loved his di and worked hard putting his blood and sweat.

He built every step of success of a.r with his hard work day and night. Everything seemed to be perfect. Then suddenly another tornado hit the family. Shyam left anjali went with another women. Arnav swore to kill him but anjali requested him to leave shyam alone because he deserved more than that. Anjali was left shattered and broken but her family's support and baby's love made her alive. After so many days arnav have seen anjali happy.

Anjali: no more tears chote. If we hang on to past we get nothing. We need to look forward for the future hai na?

She said to him caressing her belly.

Arnav: I cant wait for my princess to come out di.i will give her all the happiness.

Anjali: I know chote..

The duo hugged each other with tears of joy and happiness. The tears of joy of new beginning for anjali.

Anjali wiped her and Arnav's tears

Anjali: bas chote..Now go and get ready. Breakfast is waiting for you.

Arnav: 10 mins di.

He grabbed his towel and went to the washroom. He let out the cold shower. It feels so pleasant today. At last he saw his di back to her cheerfulness. It's very hard for a person to bear the betray from the one they love more than their life..Everything was a picture perfect when that shyam'.even when his name comes across Arnav's mind his blood boils in anger. He left shyam just becoz of his di , if not he would be dead

Then arnav remembered the words of his sister to leave the past and hope for the future. He felt proud for having such a strong sister.

He completed his shower and dress up and came to dining hall. Surprisingly the table is empty. He saw only anjali waiting for him.

Arnav: di, where are nani and others?

Anjali: they went to temple chote

Arnav: then why didn't you go di??

Anjali: I thought will be with you for breakfast chote. It's been many days eating together rite?

Arnav smiled and continued his eating. Anjali slowly placed a white envelope on the table. At the first glance itself arnav can't to know what's there in hem.

Arnav: di not again please.

Anjali: please chote. Take look once. these is new which pundit ji gave yesterday.

Arnav: di aap jaante hai mein ye sab me believe nahi kartha.

Arnav replied grinting his teeth.

Anjali: chote why are you like this. Look chote please again don't compare with mine and our parents life..Marriage is not a bad thing

Arnav: whatever you say di I don't believe in marriage and moreover I'm not at all ready to believe girls.

Anjali realized about whom arnav is talking. She took a huge breath and took Arnav's hand and replied

Anjali: chote, all girls are not like sheetal chote. You need to give a cha..

Her words were interrupted seeing Arnav's reaction. He clentched his fists and his jaw tightened. His eyes turned red bloodshot. Anjali gulped in fear yet still managed to whisper

Anjali: its ok chote'I just want to

By the time anjali finished her sentence arnav threw the glass on the floor.

He yelled saying that

Arnav: never ever take her name in this house'never di

He left his breakfast, grabbed his coat and barged out of the hall leaving a teary anjali behind.
