A PLEA TO MY READERS
Okay guys, this is
very important and that is why I am creating a separate post of it. In fact, I am going to put one of this on all my stories.
I know all the readers are in a rush, and some just don't care, but please take out just a few minutes of your 24 hr day just to give this a read and support us.
Plagiarism.
I know everyone has heard this ugly word, and have probably gotten tired of hearing or reading about it again and again.
It's almost like the word corruption. We all know what it is, we are all affected by it, yet none of us really bother much to do anything about it.
But, we are still trying to fight it. We are trying to fight plagiarism to make this forum safer for us to write, for the readers to read and for everyone to have a good time here.
When a reader reads a story and finds out that the story is palgiarised - I am sure you all feel deceived.
When a readers reads a story and suddenly it's removed and put on a restricted blog which you don't have access to - I am sure you are hurt.
When a reader reads another story which is an exact copy of a story they love - I am sure you are all hurt.
Just as writers get hurt by plagiarisers, so do the readers.
So far it's mostly been the writers who have tried to fight off plagiarism. The readers have often remained silent and not raised their voice against this crime.
Recently I found a writer with a good popularity around the forum had plagiarised so many stories that it was disgusting!
Yet her account is still active.
All I ask of you readers is to help us. We want you to help us make this forum safer so we don't have to move from here. We ask you to just help us so you can read our work.
We love this forum, and we want to post here - but a place which does not protect you, it gets hard to trust that place.
The MODs have their hands tied, so we are going to try and reach to the higher authorities - people who can actually make a difference.
I want all of you to help me fight this thing by forcing Vijay to take action.
Go to this thread and spam away. Like it. Tweet about it. PM Vijay about it. Keep spamming everybody about it. We want to let everyone know about this problem and that from now on none of us are going to take plagiarism lightly.
Please, please, help us out. Please.
