Drills, Major Nair and Plans

Next morning was haste for all cadets. It was Captain Rajveer and Dr. Shalini's get back into shape drills, these drills will run for the next couple of days. Unfortunately the marking for this was going to be done by Major Nair, which meant he was going to be present at the drills.

"Attention!" Yelled Major Nair at the cadets. "Today we are going to be doing drills to get your bodies back into shape, of course some of you were never in shape." He said with a disapproving look towards the female cadets.

Shalini and Rajveer noticed that and rolled their eyes. Today their goal was to keep the drills and the marking scheme fair.

"We are going to start with 10 mile run and move on to abdominal work outs in the next few days." He stated as he lead the batch towards a running trail.

"Guys remind me main military join kyu karna chata hun?" Yudi complained to the rest as they started the run. They rest just told him shut up and run.

This run was going to be tiring for them all, they all ran in their break but it was never this much. Everyone had the same thoughts about these drills. Getting back into shape is going to be a pain in the a**.

Major Nair slowed down and sped up his running to keep an eye on all the cadets. He then found himself glaring at Naina who was and within a second he was beside her.

Naina noticed that and clenched her fists while readying herself for an insult coming her way. To her surprise it didn't come, instead her foot tripped over Major Nair foot which sent her face first to the ground.

In a matter of moments Rajveer was by her side, helping her up and all the other cadets had their eyes on her.

Major Nair stood there with a smirk. "Agar itna daud (run) nahi sakti natak karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai. Manlo na ke tum kamsor ho. Do you want to go back? I can give you free marks for your effort."He said emphasizing on the 'free'.

Naina along with Huda, Pooja, Ali, Rajveer, Yudi and Alekeh glared at Major Nair. They all knew he had done it on purpose. Major Nair then turned to other students and told them to keep running.

"Major Nair" Rajveer called out to him the other students were gone except for Naina. "It is your responsibility as a teacher to support your students and not belittle them." He said slightly annoyed that Naina was being targeted like this by him. Also flinching a bit looking at the Naina's hurt knee.

"Cadet Naina, would you like me to take you to the hospital?" Major Nair replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Ji nahi, muhje uski koi zarurat nahi hai aur na hi main kamzor hu. After all weak students are not considered for best cadet right?" Naina replied with a smirk.

"Cadet, don't forget you are talking to your senior and you haven't won yet." He said and started running with a frown. He turned around after a couple of meter and said "I expect you will be at the finish line."

"Yes sir" She replied confidently.

After Major Nair left Rajveer turned to Naina and asked her to show her knee. She was running pretty fast when Major Nair's foot got in the way which caused the hard fall. Now she has ripped pants and a bloodied knee.

Rajveer on the other hand mentally kicked himself for flinching at the knee. Here she was on her way of becoming a soldier and a cut on the knee bothered him. He groaned at the thought that in the military she will probably come across more than a cut on the knee.

"Wapas KMA chalte hai, I'll fix it up for you." He said to her after eying the cut.

"Nahi, I have catch up to the rest of them or Major Nair will not let me live this down" Naina told him and shook her leg a bit.

"Naina, stupid mat bano yeh infect ho gaya to? It's not good to leave a wound open" He said with concern.

"App meri chinta mat kijiye, main bachi nahi hoon" She said with a glare and with that she started running again with a slight limp.

Rajveer rolled his eyes. Naina was a determined girl but sometimes stupid when it came to her health. Instead of pushing it further he ran beside her.

Naina was about to say something to him for running with her but instead kept quite. She had a bleeding knee to take care of and a Major Nair to prove wrong. With these things on her mind she was not about to start an argument with Rajveer. So they just ran in silence beside each other.

She did not catch up to the rest but did finish the run so Major Nair did not have another chance to taunt her. There she saw Major Nair and gave him a smirk which said everything thing that she couldn't say with words.

Major Nair saw that and turned away in anger. Bloody h*ll

Naina was about to leave when Rajveer called out to her in a strict tone. "Naina infirmary chalo."

Naina was about to bite back to him for pretty much ordering her to go to the infirmary but Rajveer cut her off. "Be quiet Cadet Singh, right now you need to take care of your injury and that's an order."

Rajveer switched to Captain mode, Naina was of course not going to listen to him if he said it just as Rajveer, but as Captain Rajveer she would have to.

Naina shut her mouth again but threw daggers at him with her eyes. On the other hand Rajveer almost rolled his eyes again. He was now getting use to the glares, he didn't like them but with every glare it seems to hurt a little less.

Rajveer took her to the infirmary and left once Shalini said it's just a cut and the reason it was bleeding a lot was because she ran while the cut was open.

Later At the Main Hall

A bunch of students including Naina, Huda, Alekah, Pooja, Ali and Yudi were reading the notice board. The first years were cheering at the news while the others were disappointed.

The notice board stated that all first years are invited to the Fresher's Ball and all other students are to stay away.

"Yeh kya baat hui?" Huda complained. "Hum kyun nahi ja sakte?"

"Sahi baat hai, muhje janna tha." Pooja agreed with Huda.

"Sorry cadet." Said Lolita Mam, who was listening to them complain. "In the past senior year cadets usually make this a ragging party for the freshers, so this year only first year cadets will be allowed." And with that she left.

"No dude, yeh fair nahi hai. Hum toh koi ragging karne wala nahi the toh hume punishment kyun mile?"Yudi said furiously. "I was sure I will get a date."

Alekeh scoffed when he heard that. "Tere saath kon jayega?" He said while he snuck a sip of alcohol.

"Hum nahi ja sakete toh kya? Guys this year freshers ball mein ragging nahi dhamal hoga. Let's see yeh newbies kitne darpoke hai."

"Kya chal raha hai tere man main Huda? Main koi stupid plan ka hisa nahi bane wali." Naina stated after seeing a crazy look on Huda's face.

"Phoolan dar maat tera kam bohot simple hai aur agar hum freshers ball nahi ja sakte hai to first years ko bhi enjoy nahi kar dene sakte." He said with excitement as he started explaining to the rest.

Major Nair has again started torturing Naina and he is stinking to really low levels like purposely tripping Naina to make her fall!!!!!😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡

Rajveer as expected is at her side and reminding Major Nair of his responsibilities as a teacher!!!!!😊 😊 😊 😊 😳 😳 😳 😳

Naina should learn by now not to get affected by Major Nair's words and try to complete drills when she is injured!!!!!😔 😔 😔 😔

Ab Nair ko Naina ko hospital le jaane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, after all uske liye Rajveer hai na!!!!!😉 😉 😉 😉

Rajveer ne pyaar se kaha infirmary chalne ko toh nahi maani and so he had to say it as Captain Rajveer as Naina can refuse Rajveer but not Captain Rajveer!!!!😛 😛 😛 😛 😊 😊 😊 😊

Really nice update!! Rajveer is so concerned about her knee i hope he does something to soothe her inner turmoil soon 😕. Oh waiting to read if they gatecrash the fresher s party . This FF is a trip down memory lane.
