This is for Ch 6:

"Even as she came to the realization that he was going to be a worthy opponent, she also knew that her greatest battle was going to be the one she was fighting with herself."

This is the crux of the matter, isn't it? Khushi's inner battle with herself? She may be able to stand up to Arnav, to thwart his efforts to stop her marriage, but she is struggling against an even bigger opponent...her own feelings, her instant, unexplained attraction toward this stranger.

"What do you want me to do? Tell me, Khushi, I'll do anything to take away your pain..." Payal reminds me of a quiet, watchful angel in Khushi's life. Someone who will do anything to ensure that her sister, her best friend, finds the happiness she deserves, despite her own reservations about Arnav Singh Raizada and his apparent obsession with Khushi. Despite the scandal it would cause if Khushi broke her engagement on the eve of her marriage with Shyam.

On Ch 7...

Shyam seems smarter than I've given him credit for so far. To immediately speak to Khushi's parents about her apparent change of heart and attributing it to pre-marriage nerves…

Khushi's mum's reaction was, to me, very selfish and downright mean-spirited…to accuse your daughter of not loving you enough only because you are not her birth mother? To me, when you adopt a child you never, ever think back to how she came to be with you, because, after all, it was your decision to adopt her. You never ever use the adoption card to emotionally blackmail her into doing what you want. What if it had been Payal instead? Or is it that your own blood can never let you down the way an adopted child can? 👎🏼

And Buaji…typical of interfering old relatives who think their age and supposedly "senior" position in the family gives them the right to speak to younger family members any way they choose, often overriding their parents. 😡

Arnav is finally beginning to realize the consequences of his obsession for Khushi and his subsequent actions, including the passionate kiss he has dreamed about all night!! I don't think he ever imagined that his behavior could cause Khushi such intense pain, such devastating loss. And nor did he imagine that Khushi's pain could make him feel so helpless. I like how Anjali's questioning him about why Khushi matters so much that he is willing to do anything to keep her safe.
