R.K. and Madhu gave each other confused looks before rushing inside to see what had happened.
Oblivious to them, a figure who had been watching their every move turned around and disappeared into the shadows. Don't worry Anjali and Khushi. I'm going to come get you soon and you two will be mine for ever.
Meanwhile, R.K. and Madhu return into the room to find Arnav desperately trying to pull the wires out of his hand while they see Garima helping Khushi up. Anjali was still in her shocked mode as she was astonished at what had taken place in front of her.
"What happened?"
Arnav turns, "What happened? That little dayyan tried to kill me!"
"No I didn't! I was trying to put the sacred thread I got from Devi Maiyya! I put it on Anjaliji and nothing happened to her and how dare you call me a dayyan! You're a Laad Governor!" the little Khushi bursts out, moving forward, sticking her index finger out pointing at Arnav.
"How dare you point your finger at me?! I'm Arnav Singh Raizada!"
"So what if you're Arnav Singh Raizada? Do you have special powers?"
Arnav gave Khushi a weird face. What a weird girl. I better stop talking to her. She will make me go crazy. Arnav turns around and slumps back into the hospital bed.
"See you don't have any special powers, thats why you couldn't say anything." Khushi sticks out her tongue. This guy is weird. Well at least his sister is nice.
The adults in the room start laughing but not for too long. RK phone starts ringing, Bittuji flashing on the phone screen. RK picks up the call and talks while the others wait patiently. After a long discussion, RK puts his phone down and turns to Madhu, "The kids are coming with us tonight. Apparently they have some relatives in Canada, but they are having trouble trying to contact them. So unless they want the kids back, which I doubt, Arnav and Anjali will be with us."
Arnav who was listening to everything patiently started to get mad. Who was this guy? How dare he try to control of their life? Why couldn't anyone let him and his sister live in peace. "What the...? I'm not coming with you. Neither is Di."
Raising an eyebrow, R.K. turns to Arnav, "There isn't anything you can protest against. My word is final. I'm sure you don't want your sister to fall sick again like last time. You guys need me and you know it. I can provide you with everything." Turning back to Madhu, "I'm going to go and check if they are cleared" With a huff, R.K. stormed out of the room. He knew he shouldn't of shouted at the little kid, but he had no other choice. Clearing his head, R.K. walks towards the doctor's office.
Madhu shakes her head in the direction where her husband had left. Now she got two strong-headed guys. Its never going to be a dull moment at their house from now on. First I have to deal with the little one.
Madhu walks and sits beside Arnav's bed. Arnav who was sitting up, tries to turn away but is suddenly pulled into a hug. He tries to pull out of hit but Madhu holds him strong. She whispers in his ear, "I know you are anger at the way your life has turned upside down. But trust me, it's not your fault. I know you don't like all of this but trust me, me and R.K who will be your bhaiyya, will take real good care of you and your sister. I know you are sad your mother has left you, but trust me even though she is gone, she would want you to be a good boy. Me and your bhaiyya would never leave you for anything, along as you trust us to do so. Do you?"
Arnav took a moment to wipe his eyes before turning to look into Madhu's eyes, "Can I trust you?"
Arnav knew he didn't need an answer. Somewhere in his heart he knew that she will take good care of them. It was the guy who he couldn't trust. When Madhu replies with an affirmative answer, Arnav gives her a tight hug before moving away, claiming he wants to sleep. Madhu helps him to lie down and places a kiss on his forehead before leaving the bed and went out to look for her husband.
Khushi who was watching the exchange, walked up to the bed and started to tie the string again. Anjali noticed this and called out to Khushi, "Khushi, I don't think this is a good idea. Chote doesn't really believe in Devi Maiyya."
"But Anjaliji, how will he get better? If he has the sacred thread then he will definitely get better."
Anjali smiles at the young girl's innocence. She decides that she will take it off after Khushi leave but before Arnav wakes up. She doesn't want to break Khushi's heart, yet doesn't want to face Chote's wrath.
Garima and Khushi talked to Anjali for a while before deciding that it was time Khushi went back home. They both said they will come back to visit them soon. As soon as they left, Anjali walked slowly towards her brother to remove the thread, but it wasn't around his wrist. Where did it go?
