Character sketch

Virat Vadhera: He is the son of popular businessman Mr.Vikram Vadhera. He is working as an engineer in gaming software. He lives in Australia for the past 5 years. His close friends in Australia are Rita, Vivek, Karan, Nisha and Raghav. He has a sister Jeevika. She is in love with her college friend Viren Singhania and soon are to get married. Virat does not believe in adjustments. He thinks that if he adjusts for someone else he will not stay happy. He thinks that due to adjustments he will only lose in life.

Manvi Chaudary: She is a doctor by profession. She is the daughter of Madan Chaudary who is a close friend of Vikram Vadhera. Manvi lost her mother when she was very young. She has a brother Dabbu. She is very fond of dance as her mother also loved dance. She learns dance and also teaches other chilren in her neighbourhood. She is very bubbly and outgoing.

Other characters will be added in da cuming chapters.

Part 1

20 years back

A boy bowls the ball and the batsman is out. The boy is our very own Virat Vadhera. All children are happy that they took another wicket. The umpire says that it is the last over and the other team has to make 10 runs to win the maths. A girl comes to Virat and tells

Girl: hey virat I wanna bowl the last over.

Virat: what?? Do you know how to bowl??

Girl: u also don't know maths. Don't I teach you?? The same way you also teach me.

Virat: no this is last over. If you bowl we will lose the match.

The girl tries to snatch the ball from Virat. But Virat being stubborn pushes her and she fall down. The girl is none other than our sweet Manvi. Madan points out to Vikram and says

Madan: Vikram look your son pushed my daughter again.

Vikram runs over to them and helps manvi get up.

Vikram: Virat what is this?? Why did you push her??

Virat: look dad she is saying that she wants to bowl.

Vikram: So let her bowl..

Virat: No dad this is the last over if I let her bowl we will lose the match.

Vikram: So what this is just a game. Come here let me show you some thing.

Vikram takes Virat to a side and asks him to cup his palm. Virat does the same.

Vikram: See this is your world( pointing towards his palm).

He pours some water in his palm and tell him

Vikram: If you adjust for others you will hav so many people with you. But if you set rules for them then nobody will be there with you.(he closes each finger slowly and all the water goes down).

Vikram throws the ball to Manvi. She bowls the ball and the other team easily make 10 runs and win the match. Virat is very upset.

Virat(to himself): Dad always asks me to adjust. Why doesn't he understand that if I adjust then I will only lose. I will not be happy if I adjust. Thats it! I wont adjust from today on wards. I will do whatever I like.

Australia

A black range rover halts near a huge building. A young man wearing a black shirt with sleeves rolled up matched to a pair of trousers and sneakers. He removed his shades to have a look at the building infront of him. He was none other than our very own Virat Vadhera. He had got a call earlier from Mind Game Technologies to visit him and here he was standing in front of their office. He walked into the huge building and asked the receptionist where he could Mr. Mark. She told him that he was waiting for him in the office in a flirty manner. Virat smirked and walked in the direction the lady asked him to. This was all common for him. Wherever he went girls used to drool over him and why not he was one of the or say the most handsome guy you saw. Virat reached Mr. Mark's cabin and knocked to which he was asked to come in.

Mr Mark: Mr Virat please have a seat. Virat obliged.

Mr Mark: Mr Virat I have seen your work in designing games. And I must you have done a great job. Our company would like to offer you with a contract to create a new game. You would be our partner and would get 25% of the profit.

Virat was very happy as it was his dream to start his own business and this was the first step.

Virat: My team and I would be very happy to work with your company. Thank you very much.

With this Virat exited the room with a huge smile on his face. He immediately went to meet his team at the regular spot. When he reached there he saw that Karan and Nisha were busy in their lovey dovey talks. Rita and Raghav were talking about something and Vivek was trying to give directions to someone.

Virat: yarr vivek panch saal ho gaye ab tak theek se English nai bol pa raha hai.

Vivek: why??

Virat: usne tujhe ek building ke bare pucha aur tune use uske pass wale building mein bhej diya.

Vivek: no I telled correct.

Virat: telled?? Aisa koi shabd nai hota English mein.

Vivek: I am shock…

Virat: aisa bhi kuch nai hota.

Hearing this the whole started laughing.

Virat: Okay guys ab kaam ki baat karte hain. Aj subah mujhe Mind Game Technologies se phone aaya tha. Unhone kaha hai ki unhe humara kaam bahut acha laga aur voh humein 25% partner bana rahe hain.

Everyone was excited after listening to this.

Karan: arey waah yaar ye toh bahut achi baat hai. Humara dream project humein mil hi gaya.

Virat : haan yaar main is din ka bahut intezaar kar raha tha. I am so happy.

Nisha( looking at Karan): vaise hum dono ko bhi tumein kuch batana hai.

Rita: haan bolo na.

Karan: Guys maine aur Nisha ne shaadi karne ka decision liya hai.

Ragahv: Wow yaar that's great!!

Virat: haan yaar bahut achi baat hai.. toh kab karra hai.

Karan: kal subah church mein. Aur tum sabko vahaan aana hai.

Vivek: ye bhi koi kehene wali baat hai. Hum sab pakka aayenge.

Next day

Karan and Nisha got married in the presence of all their friends. And they left for their honeymoon.

After a few days

Virat: tu yeh kaise kar sakta hai yaar??

Virat and the others were fuming in anger. Karan the animator of their group did not want to be part of their business because his wife Nisha wanted him to do a job and settle down as they were newly married.

Karan: Yaar main kya karoon Nisha chati hai ki main job karoon. Business mein risk lena theek nahi hoga.

Raghav: Par tu janta hai ki ye humara dream project hain.

Karan: pata hai yaar par Nisha nai samjh rahi.

Nisha: samajh nahi rahi toh samjha na. uske chakkar mein humara dream project haath se nikal jayega.

Here Virat was listening to everything but was still silent. After a few minutes of thinking..

Virat: Tu ja apni Nisha ke paas aur ghar basa le. Main kisi ke liye bhi compromise nahi kar sakta hai.ab tujhe humare team mein rehne ki jaroorat nahi hai.

Saying this he walked off from their even when karan was trying to convince him.Others also followed him.

Rita: Ab hum kya karenge. Humare team mein animator nahi hai.

Virat: company waalon se baath karke time den eke liye poochte hain.

Next day Virat went to meet the director of the company Mr Ram Kapoor. He was playing golf with his best friend Mr Ravi Gupta.

Virat was walking towards them. He went to Mr Kapoor and explained him the situation.

Mr Kapoor: that's not a problem. Humare paas ek animator hai Robert. You can take him.

Virat: Okay kya aap Robert ko keh sakte hain ke mujhse aake mile.

Mr Kapoor: hey Robert bahut acha hai.

Virat: nahi aisi baat nahi hai. Who kya hain na voh naya hai toh agar voh humare saath adjust ho sakta hain ya nahi.

Mr Gupta: voh adjust nahi hota toh tum ho jao.

Virat: Sorry main kisi ke liye adjust nahi karta.

Mr Gupta: youth attitude… dekho tumhara naam toh mujhe pata nahi lekin adjust nahi hone zindagi jee nahi paoge.

Virat: aap kaun hain main yeh bhi jaanta par main adjust nahi karta. Usse hum sirg haar jayenge.

Mr Kapoor: Ravi chod na.

Mr Gupta: aise kaise chod doon. Iski zid ki vajah se apna contract kho dega.

Mr Kapoor: uski fikar use honi chahiye tumhe nahi. Agar utni hi fikar hoti toh itni battameezi se baat nahi karta yeh.

Virat: dekhiye sir agar aapko Robert ko bhejna hai toh bhejiye varna humein thoda time dijiye.magar please mujhe mat samjhaiye ki kya gat hai aur kya nahin.

Mr Kapoor: Is tarah baat karke business karoge tum..Virat rolled his eyes and said

Virat: Sir aap bhi bade ajeeb hain. Ek hi baal ko baar baar marte hain aur phir gadiyon mein use dhoondthe hain. ( he meant the game of golf) aap bore nahi ho jate. Vaise main business isi tarah karta hoon. Aap apna contract apne paas rakhiye main dusra dhoondh loonga.

Saying this Virat walked off from there leaving a fuming Gupta and Kapoor standing there.

Virat joins a new company and is happy with his job. Though he is sad that his dream project was not successful. One day in the office he gets a call.

Virat: Hello

On the other side: VIRAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Virat put the phone away from his ear not able to bear the sound. After the voice slowed down he got the phone back to his ear

Virat: kya di?? Main Australia mein hoon iska yeh matlab nahi ki main aapko sun nahi sakta. Chilane ki zaroorat nahi hai.

It was his elder sister jeevika on the other side.

Jeevika: chilane ki zaroorat hai Virat baat hi aisi hai…..

Virat: kyun kya hua??

Jeevika: Guess what????? Viren ne mujhe finally propose kar diya aur gharwale bhi maan gaye… yayyy!!!

Virat: Oh wow dii!! That's great!!! Ab finally aapse mujhe chutkara milega. Ha ha ha….

Jeevika: ha ha(sarcastically) very funny.. ab voh sab chod abhi packing shuru kar aur jaldi India waapas aaja. Shaadi do(2) hafton mein hai. And I want my younger to be there all the time.

Virat: don't worry dii main pahunch jaunga. K bye tc.

Jeevika: bye.

The next day Virat went to the airport and was waiting for the flight when a lady came and gave some pamphlets and asked him to fill it.

Virat: yeh kya hai??

Rita: Arey yaar Cadbury wale ek naya chocolate release kar rahe hain jiska naam MADE FOR EACH OTHER hai. Aur who 500 airports main yeh contest conduct kar rahe hain. Agar kisi do logon ki bhi same likes hai toh voh made for each couple honge.

Vivek: haan yaar fill karte hain na pata nai mereliye kaun likha hoga…

Virat: haan tu fill kar koi African milegi.. Everyone started laughing.

Virat: aise kaise koi do logon ki same likes ho sakti hain.. Saying this he returns the pamphlets without filling it. After walking for few seconds he stopped and said

Virat: agar sach mein kisi aur ki likes mere jaisi hui toh… Let's try…

He took a pamphlet and started filling it.

Virat: hmm… favourite colour? simple white

Samne waalon mein tumhe zyaada kya pasand hai? unki smile

Chandigarh

A girl in a white dress was smiling lookind at a big poster of Ranbir Kapoor in front of her.

Girl: Haaye aap itne handsome hain… kaash main aapse mil paati. Just then someone called out to her.

Madan: Manvi…

The girl turned around and it was none other than our Manvi Chaudary.

Manvi: aayi papa

Back in Australia

He filled the form and gave it. He and his friends left for India. He reached the airport in India and found his sister standing there finding for his little brother. He walked towards her and tapped her shoulders.

She turned back and found her brother with the classic smirk on his face. She flung her arms towards him and hugged him. Afterall she was seeing him after five long years.

Jeevika: I missed you sooo much…

Virat: I missed you too dii…

Jeevika: Virat tu paanch saal ke liye gaya aur maine tujhe itna miss kiya. Ab toh main humesha ke liye chod ke ja rahi hoon.. She said with teary eyes.

Virat: arey dii aapko kya laga aapko main itni aasani se jaane doonga har mahine aake aapko pareshan karronga. Ab rona band karo. He wiped her tears.

Jeevika: haan ab chal ghar pe sab tera intezaar kar rahe hain. Aur tere jiju bhi.

Virat: acha tab toh jaldi chalo mujhe apne hone wale jiju se poochna hai ki unhone itni himmat kar kaisi li..

Jeevika: matlab???

Virat: matlab yeh ki unhe itni himmat kaise aa gayi ki voh aapse shaadi kar rahe hain. Hahaha…..

He said this and ran towards the car with Jeevika behind him. They sat in the car and reached home.

He entered the house and saw his family waiting for him. He went to his mother first who was standing with tears in her eyes.

Virat: Maa kaisi hai aap??

Vanshika: kaisi rahoongi tere bagair. She hugged him and let her tears flow.

Virat( hugging her back): ab aa gaya hoon toh ro kyun rahe ho??

Vanshika(releasing him from the hug): yeh khushi ke aanso hai paagal.

Virat(grinning): kya baat hai maabade dialogues maar rahe ho… main nahi that toh dad ke saath milke bahut movie dekhe honge na.. vaise bhi Jeevika busy thin a jiju ke saath…

His mom and Jeevika slapped him on both him arms.

Vanshika: chup kar bahut bol raha hai.

Virat(rubbing his arms): acha yeh batao dad kahan hai??

Vikram: ab yaad aa rahi dad ki??

Virat(hugging his dad): yaad toh bahut aati hai dad par kaam ki vajah se nahi aa paata.

Vikram: haan haan isiliye toh teen mahine mein ek baar phone karta hai.

Virat was scratching his head not knowing what to answer. Just then he heard a voice

Arey bhai humse bhi toh mil lo…

Virat turned around to find Viren smiling at him. Viren Virat and Jeevika were college friends. They were quite close to each other and Virat was the one to make them realize that they love each other. Viren was always like a brother to Virat.

Virat: Hey viren.. sorry hone wale jijaji.. he went and hugged him. Viren too hugged him. They broke from the hug from the words of Jeevika.

Jeevika: cahlo ab andar chalo khaana khana hai. They all followed her to the dining table. Just then Jeevika's phone started ringing. She picked it up.

Jeevika: Hello

Manvi: Hii dii

After Virat left India Manvi was always there with Jeevika and Vanshika maa. She had become part of the family.

Jeevika: hi manvi ho gaya dance class ab phone kar rahi ho

Manvi: kya karoon dii.. aap toh jaante ho ki mujhe dance bahut pasand hai

Jeevika: haan pata hai. Acha sun hum sab khana kha rahe hain tu bhi aaja.

Manvi: acha okay dii.bye

Jeevika: bye

Manvi made her way towards the Vadhera mansion. She entered the house dancing and jumping.she didn't realize that someone was walking from the other side. She bumped into the person and was going to fall down. But she didn't. Instead she felt a hand around her waist and two brown eyes looking at her. That was none other than our Virat.

that's it... hope i didnt bore u bt i wanted virman to meet in dis chapter... and those of u who saw da movie i might change the story a bit not the plot bt some scenes... do let me knw hw the update was.. i will continue only it u like it... plzz comment any critisisms r welcome
