Oh poor you, you take care of yourself girl.
I just fall apart with a cold so i can just imagine what you must be going through.

Lovely update, finally a confession from NK. I loved the way you described it so beautifully with all of pooja's insecurities and NK determination. And i loved the reference to Arnav that nk had during that emotional moment. 😊

Thanks for the PM and you take care of yourself.
Till the next update..

A very well written chapter. Again, NK is so amazing, who needs McDreamy when you have McCutie :P Oh , Arnav saw a bit of himself in Bittu. And of course, the unstoppable KKGSR has a plan up her sleeve, probably one that's inspired by some Salman Khan movie. Wait, will Nk become a baawarchi?

Going on vacation is stressful for an IF member. It's become an addiction reading all these stories! So incredibly sorry for the very delayed comment for four (4!) new parts 😲. I'll be posting the reply almost one after the other. As soon as I finish reading one part, I'll post and then read the next and so on. Basically, I'll be spamming your story :)

Part 20

NK was such a wonderful, light character on the show. I'm glad you've given him a story to show that he is much more than Khushi's sidekick. He's given a chance to grow up and much more so in this part because he is left alone. There is no one with him there to share any immediate responsibilities. Can NK handle everything without constant guidance by Payal and Aakash?

I don't know how long the, "I'm helping Pooja because she is my employee," reason will work for the Yadav family. Pooja's family is curious already but I don't think they will seek for a thorough response because they just want their daughter to get better. The current answer is more than enough for them. Pooja, on the other hand, will question that response. She's worked other jobs and she probably knows how the employee-employer relationship works and also healthcare. And she won't accept the you-are-my-employee card everyone is playing for long.

I loved their banter! My favorite dialogues:

"Hey, you got me arrested. Why would I waste a chance to see you at my mercy?"

" If you need any improvements in your face, this is your chance. Prepare a list, we'll do it all in one shot."

"Why does everyone speak as if I'm not here?"

Pooja is so right. It's as if everyone believes the patient, no matter how small the injury, can not handle even the simplest of questions.

NK is the perfect medicine to Pooja's serious nature. She'll need that humor when she realizes the full extent of her injuries. She'll need NK to look at her and not the injuries as he's doing now ("his loving eyes completely oblivious to the bandages that still covered more than half of her face")" After the bandages are removed, insecurity might cause her to push away NK so he'll need to be strong.

That is why this chapter is so necessary. NK needs to be the one to care for her family and herself.

Part 21

I love the way you started the story with Arnav catching Khushi from falling. This is like their signature move. Khushi has to trip or fall and Arnav has to catch her.

Yay! So the Yadav's have finally stopped questioning NK. He has successfully jumped over the first hurdle! He still needs Arnav's help though :( I was sort of hoping he would be the one to take charge now and not completely rely on anyone. He did earn brownie points, however.

Thank god for Payal's quick thinking. The Yadav's were already jittery with just the Raizada's and NK's presence in the hospital. Having them stay at Shantivan would have made them suspicious. They could understand Pooja's employers helping an employee because they provide her with healthcare but I don't think living accommodations at the employer's home, a very opulent one, would be part of the package. Like Khushi suggested, they would be more likely to cave in if they living with Buaji. The Gupta sisters saved the day!

Part 22

I hope Arnav didn't get whiplash when he heard Khushi suggesting that she stay over with the Yadav's 😆. Shantivan would have housed a very grumpy Arnav otherwise and poor HP (OP, JP, XP, etc.) would get the brunt of it.

And NK's patience has paid off! Pooja let him stay with her during her counselling! She probably said yes considering him a friend while NK was leaning towards family. Her acceptance also shows that she trusts NK despite him being a male while she sent away Payal who she was initially comfortable with. NK has come a long way and it shows in these subtle actions.

Payal predicted correctly. If NK and Pooja get through the counselling session, their bond will grow stronger.

Pooja's 'Why" is not going to be so easily answered by the tried and tested employee-employer relationship explanation everyone has been giving to her parents. What will NK do now?

Part 23

NK's response is just so...him. This is his true character. Before he had Payal and Aakash and Khushi and Arnav to help him answer complicated questions and while it was necessary to stretch the truth, they were essentially lying. Our oh-so-sweet,, uncomplicated NK does not know how to answer a very complicated answer any other way but truthfully. And it's about time!

I lol-ed at NK's 'soul singing' and his 'heart hovering over lush meadows' 😆 Khushi's dramatics are rubbing off on him. This was so cute!

Pooja's response made me hurt for her. Her insecurity is at an all-time high and she thinks she's lost her identity. NK's 'I love you' helped her very much but I think he'll need to work very hard to make Pooja realize she is not defined solely as an abuse victim. She is still a good-looking girl, a smart professional, a responsible daughter in everyone's eyes.

I wanted to hug NK so badly when he said, "Yes...any doubt?" Those three words I think meant more to Priya than NK's "I love you" because that's when she realized that he did love her. She truly believed him then. She didn't question his feelings. She accepts it and trusts him so much to let herself breakdown and cry all her hurt out and know that he will be there to catch her.

A very intense chapter and you handled it really well!

Get well soon and drink lots of fluids!
