I'll start with Interlude II
I've always believed that parents who adopt have the biggest hearts and the ability to love a child that may not bear your genes is a gift few possess. I can't imagine how much it must have heart when Khushi left without a word. I can't help but wonder if the rest of the family felt they weren't good enough to earn her trust as to what occurred or drove her away.
Now the next chapter Khushi's story about why she needed to wear the ring was nothing short of heartbreaking, but understandable, it's amazing how often we rely on the mirage to assuage pain. Arnav's reason for why he could not take his ring off, gives me hope that perhaps these two can find a way back to each other. Though I have no doubt this will be a painful road.
