It made me wonder and it made me choose one over the other like a small child would do between two of her favorite toys and then i realized how stupid i was being.

So she needed him because she had a reason and he held on because he didn't want to do otherwise - the reasons could matter and maybe to them it does. But shouldn't the end count for just as much? Especially in situations when emotion is prime?

It is a tough situation but I love the fact that they don't skirt around the issue. And one step at a time is the best they can do. And so they are.

And that spells hope and that's all life needs :)

Very thought provoking, RB. Well done as always

We know Khushi has a penchant for all things complicated, and that reflects in every choice she has ever made. Arnav - there is tremendous strength in his simplicity, and I am not sure how far Khushi realises that. There is only one place for the both of them in this world, and that is in each other's arms. A simple truth, why must life get so messy ? She is looking at one like it is iota..

I admire your Arnav, really - I don't blame Lavanya for never being able to move on, how can one ever stop loving such a man?

This chapter reminded of a few lines from one of Jagjit Singh's ghazals:

humaare aur tumhaare pyar mein bas fark hai itanaa
idhar to jaldii jaldii hai, udhar - aahistaa aahistaa

I feel that at this stage Arnav is just stalling to listen to reasons of Khushi actually leaving him probably because he is giving her a benefit of doubt right now, however once he hears her justifications he will have nothing to cling to.Then he has to make a conclusion and he also does not want to let go.

We always crave to listen to the truth but then more often than not truth is bitter !!

Khushi on the other hand has lost a lot probably on a personal front but gained a lot on a humane front due to her life experiences.

Wow a brilliant and fantastic update, u write down this story so well and the emotions and feelings are just outstanding. I don't know why is it, it may be because I'm an emotional person but each update just makes me cry, the fact that arnav and khushi are so emotionally and mentally attached to each other and they understand each other so well. Loved both there reasons for still wearing the rings and khushi telling Arnav about her past and the imaginary family incident was so sad. A beautifully and exceptionally well written update, Continue soon please and thanks for the PM xx

Trainspotters - " The hobby of watching trains for long periods of time... by extension, any hobby or obsession with a trivial pursuit" (Dictionary.com)

If Arnav and Khushi are trainspotters - what are they watching?
Is it life or circumstances that they have no control over because they are mere spotters? But how can life or life changing circumstances be trivial? Somehow that word is disturbing but I guess that must be intentional on your part.

Your writing style is intensely emotional that it kinda squeezed my heart in pain. I could feel Khushi's pain, Arnav's longing despair, Payal's melancholy.

Was very happy to read today's chapter coz despite everything, Khushi and Arnav are able to comfort each other only because each is worried about the other's comfort ... that is what love does especially the everlasting kind.
Karma maybe a bitch but even karma cannot watch two lovers suffer for ever. Seven years is a longtime to live in emotional trauma.

The kind of pain shown by you is particularly reminiscent of Danielle Steele's works coz it is a pain that is constant in one's heart with no relief in sight.

Being the optimist that I am, I'm hoping for a happy ending but I will respect the author's decision - whatever it maybe.
