Shobha comes back to present by the loud curses coming from upstair. She sighed. What will she do with this girl? She was remembering the time when Riya was born. She put the photo album down and went upstairs. She opened the door which had a board on it which read "Do not enter without my permission".

"RIYA!" she yelled at the girl who's standing infront her..

Riya was cursing someone so loudly that her voice could be heard from the downstair. And worse, she was throwing her stuffs out of her windows. Oh no, she was throwing things on him again!. & he was also throwing things on her?!?
"hey bhagwan, in dono ka main kya karu? Unhe bhi ghar itni paas paas banana ki kya jarurat par thi..Uff! ", she frowned.

Riya turned to look at her mom. She has become a young woman now but still has the innocence & purity. She has become more beautiful. She has long silk yet slight curly hair and eyes that can speak volumes. Every curves of her body was in a perfect position. Her teachers used to call her Aphrodite, Greek goddess of beauty. She was looking cute as a child in her pajamas. Her face was red with anger. Her eyes were shimmering with tears. IT was not because she was sad but its because she's angry.

Riya is a girl who hardly cries ever in emotion except anger. Shobha was always confused whether she should be proud of it or worried. Riya never shows her feelings nor shares her feelings with anyone. People who don't know her well always wondered if she feels anything other than anger. Its not that she is an angry young girl or something! Riya was one of the brightest students of her training institute. Hey, it doesn't mean she is a geek. She's a hot shot cop, forensic expert & research specialist in Emerengcy Task Force (ETF), Mumbai Branch. She is modern but traditional also. She is a fun-loving person, bubbly little girl who plays pranks on other, jokes, smiles, laughs but one thing she hardly does is cry. ("Pushpa, She hates tears re!"🤪) She is an ordinary (puhlease! 🤣) girl who loves lovestories but doesn't believe that one day she might fall in love too. She says that love is for all people but just not for her.

"Riya, kya kar rahi hai subah subah?? Chod.." Shobha takes the metal thing from Riya's hand & throws it aside.

"Agli saal Olympic ja rahi hu na usika practice kar rahi thi." Saying so, she takes another brush to throw at him.

She threw it but he tucked. The brush missed him by an inch. He picks up the brush & throws it back to Riya but carefully so that it doesn't hit her.

"Arjun!" Damini calls her son from behind, tugging at his arm to stop him. "Lo, shuru ho gaye dono!", She thought frowning at these two.

"Arjun, kya kar raha hai ise lag jayegi'!" Damini warned him.

"toh main kya karu? Maar to ye bhi rahi hai na. Why don't u stop her instead of telling me to stop?" Arjun said furiously without looking at his mother.

"Ajun, stop it."

"Mom, tell her to stop, ok?"

Saying so, he turned to his mother. Arjun was a man whose looks can't be described. His expressive killing eyes could easily melt anyone. He was someone who can easily defeat Cratus, Greek god of strength & power. He was the hot hunk of a cop. ☺️ Even when he would interrogate the suspects...female suspects would just stare at him instead. He was a master of disguise and could make any female do anything by just giving a smiling glace at them.

His friends from training institute call him Adonis for his Desirability. (Strange isn't it? that Adonis was the lover of Aphrodite😈.) But the girls who keep drooling over him day & night call him Eros. (I know, I do!) But not infront of him though, as ACP Arjun Raute could blast on them anytime. Oh did I mentioned that he hates crime? Aah silly me! He is a perfect example for a angry young man or a cop. His mother calls him chota AB'aree apni Amitab Bacchan.. He became ACP in such a short of time due to his extremely hard working nature and intelligence. He is now ETF second in command. Yes, Riya ki Boss with a big B!🥳

As he was glaring at his mother facing his retreating back at Riya, Riya threw a vase & that had hit him on his back before crushing on the floor, leaving a wound on his back.

"aahhh" Arjun gasped. "oopsss" Riya put a hand on her mouth.

Shobha gives a glare at her daughter & indicates her to go & treat him & apologize which she knew Riya won't ever. But Arjun had his way around her.

Riya got what her mother meant & decided that it's not safe to argue, seeing her mother seething with anger.

"Fine, she pouted & stormed out of the room.

Riya stormed out of her room & went to his house which was right next to her house. Yes, they were neighbors. "Durga maa, iss puri vrahman mein kya sirf yehi mila tha aapko meri parosi banana ki liye??" she always complained to her best friend Durga maa.

They all live in Mumbai now. Damini & Arjun settled here when Arjun was 8 years old with Damini's 2^nd husband. Arjun's father Suryakant Raute had died in an accident when Arjun was 6 years old. Suryakant Raute was a renowned industrialist. Arjun was the only heir of Raute family. So, his father left him everything he had. Damini married Rajdeep Singh when Arjun was 8. Rajdeep is the owner of Singh constructions which now belongs to Arjun too . But Arjun handles his responsibilities with concern & he wanted to become a cop. He had to take care of both SR industries & Singh construction. So, he left his responsibilities to Rajdeep & promised him that he would take his responsibilities as the right moment come.

Damini was young when her 1^st husband died. Arjun's dad & Suryakant's mother Savitri Devi insisted her to move on in her life. She had a whole life to lead & moreover Arjun needed a father. Damini was ready to live alone & she promised Savitri tht she will never let Arjun miss his father. But her fate! She met Rajdeep in a meeting between SR & Singh group & ended up getting married.

Arjun always had this wrong feeling about his mom in childhood. He always thought that his mom had cheated on his father by marrying Rajdeep. So, he became reserved after it. He hardly talked to anyone, even with his mother. But he never disrespected them. He even accepted Rajdeep as his father. They share a great father son relationship. Rajdeep never forced Damini for a child. So, they never tried for a second child. Rajdeep always says that he has got everything he wanted in his child as Arjun. Arjun is the child one could dream for.

Arjun's mother is a Bengali, so as Shobha. Shobha & Damini was childhood friend where Piyush & Suryakant was childhood buddies. After Piyush dies, Damini settles down in Mumbai with Rajdeep.

Riya's father Piyush settled here when Riya was 13 years old. Piyush transferred his business here in Mumbai & is a respective industrialist here. He owns PM group of Industries. Both Rajdeep & Piyush is among the richest people here.

Riya & Arjun never met each other after Arjun left with Damini. Even when Riya came to Mumbai for visit, Arjun lived with his dadi in Canada. While he completed his graduation there, Riya was having her graduation in America. Arjun used to come to mumbai during summer or winter vacation. But both didn't get enough time to meet each other. Even they never saw each other as during Riya's holiday she used to go for a long holiday with her father or would come to India to visit her grand mother.

Arjun came back when he was 20. After that, he became a cop and steadily by the time he was 26, he was an ACP. Riya came back to India with her forensic degree and was immediately sent to train for field. It was a year back when Riya finally came to Mumbai and joined ETF. And they met'

And they met for the first time after such a long period. And the battle of hate & love began...Instantly.
