Oh lol. This is great. Raj can't dance sala. I am so happy. I love when Taani says ainveyi. And TaaRey part was so cute and sweet and filmy. You should definately write Viha works too. You will rock. ok guys i know i am updating very soon soon but if i wont to finish this fast so i that i go on to my new ff.i have to pen it down soon or else i will explode. anyway this is the last chapter before the epilougue so bear with me one last time.

Chapter 8: the eventful wedding.

It was a bright and sunny morning. a perfect day for a wedding. no one really slept that night,but obviously for different reasons. rey and simran were heartbroken,sharon was worried about rey, swayam was missing taani,raj was too excited and taani was way too confused too fall asleep.

taani dragged herself out from bed and she heard the wedding preperations going on in full swing. she felt a weird kind of indifference and regret and then it hit her she should not be feeling this way . she should be excited... she was getting married... but did she really love him. the answer was obvious but she did want to say it she was afraid that she would die of guilt if she did. while she was thinking about these things she found herself staring at rey through her bedroom window. she smiled as he started ordering the workers around telling what to do and what not to do. it got her thinking if rey was happy that she is getting married or not. she recalled all those times when rey was smiling during the wedding preperations and him flirting with simran. unknowingly a tear fell from her eye. she wiped it off and went to take shower.

scene shift to rey

rey : where is taani?
sharon:she is in her room.
Rey: sharon, please ask her what time she wants the caterers to reach . they keep calling and calling to confirm the delivery time.
sharon: ok i will but rey are you okay?
rey: yup... why do you ask?
sharon: you know why i am asking?
Rey smiled and turned to walk awy when he heard a small cry of pain from sharon.
Rey: sharon...are you okay?
sharon: ya .. I am fine... the doctor warned me i will get this kind of pain during this period of pregnancy ... but it is fine i am used to it... i will just go...
Rey: no no sharon...i will go .
Sharon: you sure ?
rey: ya...

Scene shift to taani

she exited the bathroom in her lehenga and wet hair. just then rey entered and he could not take his eyes off her. she looked like an angel. taani could feel his eyes on her. and for the first in her life became concious of how she looked to him. rey walked to wards her and she by instinct to a step back. this never used to happen. A bright red bush formed on her cheeks as she took a few more steps back. Finally there was nowhere to go and her back hit the hard wall.rey put his arm next her waist trapping her. she could not help but love the feeling she got from standing this close to him . their lips were inches away from each other. Taani closed her eyes bracing herself for what was going to happen next. Re y got wary of what was going on and immediately pulled back. taani was shocked.rey turned around so his back was facing her.

Rey: what time do you want the caterers to come?
Taani: (still in a daze) huh...
Rey: ( a little louder) what time do you want the caterers to come?
Taani: oh...um...1 pm
rey: ok.
Rey walked out of the room feeling ashamed of himself while taani reached a whole new level of confusion. but unbeknownst to them there was someone else who witnessed all that. sharon saw everything and now confirmed her doubts that she had. she immediately rushed to taani.
Sharon: taani...
Taani: bhaabhi.what are you doing here?
sharon: nothing... just... Okay i am not going to beat around the bush or anything so what just happened?
Taani: you saw everything?
Sharon just nodded so taani couldnt take it anymore and told her everything about her confusions and everything.sharon smiled and immediately got an idea.
Sharon: you want to get rid of your confusions right?
taani: were you not listening to me? obviously!
sharon: then lets play a game.
taani: are you serious?
sharon: just trust me taani. i know what i am doing taani.
taani :ok fine.
Sharon: just answer these questions okay?
taani: (confused)okay.
Sharon: who would you rather eat with? Raj or rey?
taani: well raj controls me too much so rey...
sharon: who would you rather go to the library with? raj or rey?
taani: well raj never allows me to talk in the library but rey always makes fum of old ladies in the library so rey?
sharon: who would you rather go shopping with ? Raj or rey?
taani: raj just carries my bags but rey offers me critisism so rey.
The speed of the questions got faster.
sharon: who would you rather share an ice cream with ?
taani : rey
sharon:go cycling with ?
taani: rey.
sharon: joke with?
Taani: rey
sharon: fall in love with?
taani:(before thinking) rey obviously..
Taani opened her eyes wide and sharon gave a knowing smile.
Sharon: now what you want to do is up to you.
Sharon walked out of the room.taani let out a tear but this time it was a tear of happiness.
taani: i am in love with you rey.
She turned and saw raj standing there with tears in his eyes.a swarm of guilt took over taani.
Taani: raj ... i am sorry ... i didnt know...
But before she could complete her sentense raj dragged her down roughly to the shaadi mandap.taani was in a state of shock. everyone was downstairs and when they saw what was happening they were shocked too. he forcibly made her sit down.
raj: pandit ji mantra padiye.
pandit ji started but to everyones suprise instead of sitting down with her he draagged rey with him to the mandap. rey was too shocked for words. .


Taani:(loud enough for everyone to hear)i love you rey
everyone:(including swayam)WHAT!!!
Rey : ( tears of happiness)i love you too
everyone:WHAT!!!.
sharon explained everything to the gang.
Swayam: wow . i really need to start paying attention to my surroundings
They turned their attention to raj who was smiling. simran walked over to him.
raj: if i waited for her to tell me she would have felt guilty and let me marry her.
Simran: i never asked you why you did that.
raj: i know you.
simran: you still love her?
raj: no.. i dont think i ever did.. the only time i experienced true love is when i was with you..
Simrans eyes widened and her jaws dropped.
Raj: do you think you can give me a second chance..
Simran: (smiling widely) i thought you will never ask.
Raj and simran hugged seeing this rey smiled. taani nudged rey.

taani: will you stop smiling at her atleast during our wedding.

Rey: i think something is burning and i dont think it is the fire.
Taani blushed and smiled. they finished all the rituals and they were know officially husband and wife.rey hugged taani and planted a kiss on her cheeks.

Swayam: meri behen se distance maintain karo.
Rey: dude she is my wife now .
Swayam: i know but she is still my sister.
Music started playing saajan ji ghar aaye.
Taani: ainvayi kyun kadhi ho? lets dance .
Rey: anything for you taani.
everyone danced the night away while rey and taani dance their way into their new life.
