Chapter-25

2 days passed .. taani spent most of her time in the room .. she never went outside … never talked to anyone … she was almost like a lifeless body. chaahat also was getting sad because of her mamma's behavior but she was happy since rehaan was around and she spent most of the time playing with rehan….sharon made several attempts to talk to taani but she never gave an opportunity. Slowly swayam was also getting mad coz of the entire chaos … he did this to make taani happy .. but she never smiled after the incident .. she was completely shattered … and he couldn't understand the reason .. she wants to live with him??? But he is a cheat??? He cheated her??? He dumped her?? Still….. still she prefers to live with him???he couldn't understand all these … however for the peace of his mind he kept assuring himself that she will be alright one day… one day she will forget him and move on in her life… but still he had many questions ….

Taani's room

Sharon entered and locked the door .. she went near taani "taani utt…I wont allow you to stay like this… what is this …so you are not happy with swayam's decision??.. tell me whats wrong.. I mean ..he left you all alone all these years and now you wish to stay with him ??? why??.. I cant believe taani .. how can you forgive him like that??? Why do you support him??? He cheated you…before she could say anything more taani interrupted

"don't say like that Sharon .. he never cheated me…it was all a misunderstanding…he never wanted to leave me…. he never did it on purpose… but his hurt made him do so " she said between her sobs .. " aap janti nahi Sharon rey ne aisa kyu kiya…she narrated the whole story what happened …she couldn't hold any more once she completed .. she cried her heart out

Sharon: " Ohh God !! iska matlab jo kuch bhi hua sirf ek misunderstanding ki vaja se hua… aur rey…taani tumne mujhe pehle kyu nahi kaha??"

Taani: "bolne ka mauka hi nahi tha… sab kuch itna jaldi hua aur I didn't get time to tell you.. ab kya hoga Sharon … rey is shattered … and bhai , he doesn't want to hear…"

Sharon went near taani and hugged her and caressed her back " don't worry taani .. mein hu na tumhare saath …I will tell swayam … he will have to hear…tum rona band karo … now everything will be fine …"

Same time Main hall

Chaahat and rehaan were playing together.. all of a sudden rehaan started crying "tum itna rote kyu ho???...jab dekho aa aa karte ho… chup ho javo naa…[chaahat was getting annoyed .. rehaan was crying at the top of his voice… his cute chubby cheeks were all red now]kya chahye tume .. car???... doll…??? Teady???[she asked in a cute tone picking all toys , trying to cheer up rehan.. but rehan was not in a mood to stop …]… awww rehan band karo na …[chaahat shut her ears with her palms, really annoyed]…ufff .. chup.. chup ho javo[now the princess was really angry..she stamped her foot in anger]"

" eh kya ho raha hai yahaan…[swayam opened the main door and entered the hall.. he was back from his work.. seeing rehaan crying like this he ran towards rehan]… aww baby kya hua…[he lifted rehan in his arms and patted his back].. papa ka champ hai na beta .. aise rote nahi..[he lifted rehan up with both hands… held him up in air…rehaan was enjoying this experience ]" rehan started giggling happyily … chaahat kept looking at swayam and rehaan .. the way swayam cuddled rehan… the way he lifted rehan .. the way he patted him.. the way he made rehaan smile.. the way he played with him…. Chaahat kept looking at the two… she was amused to see a relation she never experienced..

Swayam stoked rehaans chubby cheeks and made him lie on the sofa .. he bent down and trickled rehaan on his small stomach..rehaan started giggling making weird sounds… "p..aah…pa..aahh" rehan struggled to utter paah from his mouth "my champ called me paah… ek baar aur .. bolo beta" swayam lowered his face and stroked it with rehaan's tender cheeks…. chaahat kept looking at the two.. she ran away from there.. princess was feeling heavy at heart now.. she missed her paapa… chaahat ran to her maamaah… she went to the door and looked inside only to find taani crying hugging Sharon…the little princess cute eyes were now getting wet she ran away from there she climbed up the stairs to the terrace.. the big terrace of the apartment had a small garden …she sat on a bench and rested her head on the backrest… " I miss you paah…. I miss you….chaahat ko bhi paapah chahye .. maamu kitne pyaar karte hai rehaan ko.. " she kept mumbling to her self with a sullen face… she remembered her first meeting with rey.. the way he cared for her.. the dances they did together.. all those things he did to make her happy…the way took her and taani to his house when they had no shelter…. Her birthday party… the first one of its kind she had in her life….and then last week when all those bad things started in her life .. all shouts …she shut her eyes tightly… her anger towards her paah… then the morning incident where he picked her up and stopped her from falling…

"paapah.. aap chaahat ko pyaar karte hai na??" she remembered something and slid down from the bench .. she ran towards taani's room … the room was empty now .. she walked towards the table and started searching for something… she searched everywhere..finally she found it on the bed .. taani's phone.. she grabbed it .. "paapah ko call kare??.. "she asked herself " no chaahat .. tum paapah se katti hai na.. " she answerd to her own question " but 1 time toh call kar sakte hai " " no!!!" " yes" " no!!" "yes"..she jumped on to the bed fully confused and hid her face in between the pillows… finally she decided to make the call .." but call kaise kare??"..she pressed a button on the phone… the screen flashed .. she withdrew her head back seeing the light…she pressed the button again..many names with the symbol of phone…paapah…ha…. R….. E….. Y….. REY..she read out.. she pressed the button again..TRING TRING. … she smiled in victory hearing the tone…

"Hello…" came reys voice from the other end

Oops…chaahat bit her lips.. "baat kare.. ya na kare.." she scratched her head..

"Hellooo.. taani.. tum kuch bol kyu nahi rahi… taani.. taani.. sab teek hai na… aur chaahat kaisi hai"rey kept asking from the other end while chaahat kept bitting her lips confused on whether to talk or not "no chaahat .. if you talk then you will loose .. tum paapah se katti hai.. haa… chalo cut the call" she assured her self and cut the call . she kept the phone beside her and hid her head again in between the pillows…. BEEP…BEEP… the phone started beeping… chaaht withdrew her head from the pillows…paapa ka call??? She pressed the button again and the call was connected

"hellooo…meri pari paapah ko miss kar raha hai??" came his voice from the other end…chaahat bit her lower lips and shut her eyes "auuu paapa ko pata chala… magar kaise…. Mein chup thi"..

"chaahat.. princess.. ..app chup kyu hai??"came his voice again

"yehi soch rahi ho na ki paapa ko kaisa pata chala?"..he asked … chaahat opened her mouth in an O.. "kyunki paapa was also missing you …" rey said from the other end

"sachhh" chaahat exclaimed smiling .. she forgot she was angry hearing that her paapah also missed her

"haa princess .. paapa miss u…"he said .. his eyes were wet now

" pata hai paapa .. chaahat ko aapka bohot yaad aa raha hai… chaahat miss you… " chaahat said struggling for words as she was in the verge of crying

"re yeh kya meri gudiya ro rahi hai??... tum paapa ka strong girl hai na .. toh chalo rona band karo.. " chaahat smiled hearing what rey said… "that's like my sweet girl" he said and chaahat smiled again

"accha chaahat.. mammah kaisi hai??"

"maamah.. ??? mamma chaahat se naraz hai.. voh kisi se bhi baat nahi karte… bohot ro rahi thi…aaj bhi..[he shut his wet eyes hearing what chaahat said],… paapah… aap yahan avo na… aur mujhe aur mammmah ko yahan se le chalo… voh chaahat us din aapse katti thi na isliye aisa kaha , but chaahat miss u paah.. aap yahan avo na… mujhe aapko dekhna hai…"

"but tumhara maamu mujhse naaraz hai na beta..toh paapa kaise…"

"voh sab chodiye… aap ..aap yahan aayiye .. mujhe aapko dekhna hai paapa.. aur aapko dekhe mammah bhi khush ho jayegi… aap avoge na paah??"

"haa…"

"sachhh"

"ha princess .. ab tum mere liye ek help karogi??"

" ha paa bolo na"

"jaa k mammah ko ek hug do aur unse kaho ki paapa miss her "

"ek kissi bhi deti hu jaise aapne us din maammah ko diya tha" chaahat said chuckling..

"kya ??" rey exclaimed hearing what chaahat said "chaahat….tum na bahut naughty hote jaa rahi ho aaj kal".. he said .. he could hear her sweet giggles… a small smile appeared on his face after 2 days ….

"paapa ab mein phone rakhti hu … miss u paah"

" miss u too princess "

Chaahat was so happy now she slid down the bed and ran downstairs… she looked for her mom in the hall. But she was not there .. she ran towards the kitchen . taani and Sharon were in the kitchen cooking something .. "mammaahhh…." Chaahat screamed in glee … hearing chaahats voice taani turned back .. "kya hua chaahat ??"

"mammah yahan avo na…."

Taani went near chaahat and bent down " bolo kya hua??".. chaahat immediately hugged taani and swayed along with her holding her tightly " love you maaa….."

" chaahat .. kyaa huaaa"taani asked as she held chaahat in her arms … chaahat again hugged taani and whispered in her ears " maamaah paapa ne kaha ki voh aap ko miss kar raha hai"

" kyaa??" taani asked startled .. she pulled out from the hug and held chaahat on her shoulders "kya kaha aapne?? Aur aapko kaise pata ??"

Chaahat leaned forward and gave a sweet wet peck on taani's face…Sharon was looking at the two and was smiling all the time seeing chaahat's antics.. chaahat continued " eh bhi aap k liye .. paapa k taraf se" chaahat said chuckling

" eh tum kya bol rahi ho chaahat huhh??" taani asked holding chaahat close to her

" mammah .. paapa ne abhi chaahat ko call kiya tha… hum donom khoob saari batein ki.. aur mammah apko pata hai… voh yahaan aa raha hai…"

"KYAAA??" taani and Sharon exclaimed in chorus
