Not bad!!

she dint react like the way i thought she would!!

but nevertheless she left me perplexed !! Kashi does really confuse me you know..

i did not understand what she meant in the last 2 lines... was it because he confessed abt his sexual affairs?

ohh well!! hope it gets cleared in the next updates ...

"I like touching you. And I like it when you touch me." his honest admission to her was the cutest ...

"Once upon a time... when you had first shown up at my doorstep, I would have married you in a heartbeat..."

"Now you've gone and ruined it, Arnav..." she whispered against his ear...

And yes, I found you Devi!

I haven't been on IF for long now, and after coming back, I have been looking for your stories, but I couldn't find them, and I thought you disappeared. And then, I saw this FF, and the title was enough to make me curious, as it reminded me of the land I was born and brought up in... and I decided to take a look at it, and of course, it didn't take me long to find out that this was indeed written by my favorite writer on IF. And I am glad, to have found one of your stories at last! Although I wish I could read Maryada and Reel again... Couldn't finish reading them as I got busy with my new job and stopped coming here.

About this one, I am still on thread two, and there is still so much to read. But so far, needless to say, I am loving it. I can relate to almost everything in it. My father's ancestral home is a Nalukettu too, although quite not that well maintained... I call it my Illam, and it's centuries old, and there are all kinds of stories they say about it...

Only my father's brother and his wife live there, but during all these pooja and rituals, or weddings or other functions.. (we have this particular ritual called Vettekkaran paatu every year, I don't know if you have heard of it.. It is common only in Northern Kerala), the whole of the extended family gather together, and we have a blast with all the cousins and all...

How I miss the place! Your story has brought all the memories back.. It has been more than a year since I have been there...😭

And now let me go back to read the rest of your FF!😊

gosh, that last line from kashi is the most heartfelt confession of love i have read. kashi who had hated him the moment she knew why he was there at her house would have married him just so that her curse falls him... and now she has fallen in love with arnav and she cant bear to even consider that he might be affected due to her curse...

What a great gift for working on a sunday and being at my computer *patting myself on the back*

I always work on Sundays and it is rarely a good thing for me, but today was. The last update left me wordless for a change and this one did the same, in a happy way.

Devi is queen of conversations, no one does it as well as her and I have a one complaint only. Why does she have to write this well and leave us asking for more? But that is Devi and this is us, always asking for more.

If only my life was this interesting and all proposals and mock refusals were this interesting.

Wonderful as always, need to read this one again and again.
